Renting a car is highly recommended. Taxis may not come all the way up the hill and you would have to walk the rest of the way (which is no big deal without luggage but difficult with).

There is construction of the main villa occurring to the east side of the cottage. It is not happening daily and is usually quiet and done while guests are at the beach. There is a separate entrance for construction personnel who typically show up early and are gone by early afternoon.
