Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially knowing you were traveling with young children. When your concerns were reported, we immediately followed the procedures outlined in our rental agreement by investigating the reported issue within a reasonable timeframe. Our property manager personally inspected the unit, tested the hot water at the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower, and confirmed that hot water was functioning properly. We also documented our inspection with video at the time, and no maintenance issue was found that required repair. We understand that the sounds of fireworks can be unsettling. While this activity was outside of Jetty East's control, our on-site security promptly investigated the property and found no safety concerns. If guests ever believe fireworks or other activity warrants further investigation, the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is always available to respond. We also regret that noise from neighboring guests impacted your stay. Our security team is available 24 hours a day to investigate excessive noise complaints; however, we were not notified of any ongoing noise concerns during your visit and therefore were not given the opportunity to address them. We strive to provide every guest with an enjoyable vacation experience and take all reported concerns seriously. While we were unable to verify the issues necessary to warrant a refund under the terms of the rental agreement, we appreciate your feedback and wish you and your family the very best in your future travels.
