What an incredible home! Has the mountains and a beautiful cascading creek. Home, itself, was immaculate and what a cool setup. Was perfect. Crystal was an amazing host as well! So attentive and responsive! Went above and beyond for us. Will definitely be going back!

The home is beautiful literally feels like you are sitting ontop of a waterfall! You can the rapids all nights from the master bedroom it was so serene ! We had a great stay and would absolutely book again!

Fun Relaxing Perfection

Our stay at the cabin was similar to receiving all the services and amenities of a hotel but with space, privacy, and access to nature. Everything we needed was provided and the attention to the ā€œfun detailsā€ was top notch. The stream in the backyard was also much larger than we anticipated, which was a huge hit! Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

Firefly is such a great property! It is so cozy and to say it is well stocked is an understatement. The property comes with snacks, coffee, tea, pancake mix and toppings, apple cider, and a gift basket on arrival. If traveling with kids, it is ideal to have an adult space and a kid space (that comes with arcade games, TV, bunk area, even their own kitchen). The proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock was fantastic. The closed in porch, outdoors with hot tub and firepit area, beautiful master suite - all great for a few days in the mountains. Kids had a blast playing in the creek/waterfalls. 10/10 recommend.

Secluded beauty

Very secluded stay but only minutes away from downtown Boone. Crystal was an amazing host/manager who was always available and helped answer any questions we had. The game room was a huge hit for the kids, so much so that they are getting the same machines for Xmas this year.

What a magical place! My kids and I spent hours playing by the creek. One of my favorite spots was the master bedroom looking out to the creek, a great way to wake up. We enjoyed smores outside at the firepit. Everything was well taken care of. It only took us about 15 min to drive to boone and around 13 min to drive to blowing rock so we visited both while we were here. I do give this place 5 stars. The creek itself is the star of the show. the hour before we left I was just standing out on one of the huge rocks just wishing I had one more day to enjoy it!

Little piece of heaven

This place is a true gem. Just a few minutes away from Boone but nestled on your own private cascading creek. This house has been fully updated and is extremely clean!!! They go above and beyond with the extras as well a s'mores basket and snack basket! Definitely a place weā€™d come back to.

Another Great Stay!

When you have a great stay once, it could just be luck, but have two great stays in a row and it's a trend! Cabin on the Cascades is a wonderful place to stay in a great location with an amazing host. From the pure beauty of the surrounding forest to the proximity to food, stores, shopping, whatever you may need, to having a host who does everything she can to make your stay carefree, fun, and enjoyable, it's just the best! We loved our first stay last year, but this topped it with an expanded coffee bar, complete breakfast waffle bar, and even gem mining in the creek outside. Perhaps the best thing about this trip was sharing it with family. From the fire pit on the lower deck to the hot tub to the great fireplace in the living room, we had so many settings for just spending time together and enjoying our family time together. All in all, this is one of the top stays we have ever had in a vacation rental, and we have had a few--thanks Firefly!!!

2024 Spring Break

This house had everything! There was space for the kids and the adults. Crystal made sure we felt welcome and answered all our questions before the trip and while we were there. She even had a nice gift basket there waiting for us with a bottle of wine, snacks and all the fixings for s'mores! We highly recommend this place to meet up with friends or for a getaway from the busyness of life.

Perfect 4th of July Home

This cabin was perfect for my family!! The kids had a blast in their own wing of the house with a living room, bunk room, and kitchen. The arcade games and TV kept them entertained for days! We had a blast doing sā€™mores at the firepit and swimming in the creek. I really enjoyed how relaxing the master bedroom and bathroom was. That bathtub with the fireplace overlooking the creek was amazing. And the house had literally everything you could need (we just needed our own clothes and food). Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing Night Away

The property is simply amazing. The interior is very well appointed with every detail thought of. It was obvious the host took the time to make the experience very cozy and very easy to settle in and relax. The views from the back of the house are breathtaking. Listening to the creek is very relaxing and we had a hard time waking the next morning!Crystal is also very attentive and a great source of information for things to do or places to dine. She was on top of everything. We did have an issue with the HVAC upon arrival making for a chilly entry. When I called Crystal she had already schedule an HVAC company that took care of everything while we were visiting Blowing Rock for a late lunch.Definitely somewhere we look forward to returning to in the near future.
