Come and enjoy the tranquility the Island on Lake Travis has to offer. This is a beautifully furnished Villa with a beautiful wrap around balcony from where you can feed the deers and hear the birds chirping. The villa is decorated with only one thing in mind 'Relaxation'. The bedroom has a queen size bed with memory foam mattress and the large size bathroom also has a tub and standing shower. The kitchen in well equipped with stainless steel appliances and pots and pans and basic seasonings. The refrigerator has ice maker and basic condiments. The living room has 46' internet enabled TV with access to Netflix, Pandora and other internet apps. The villa is very close to the North pool and there is a amenity galore at the Island. Enjoy our two beautifully landscaped outdoor pools and hot tubs and an Indoor pool with hot tub and dry sauna. We have tennis courts on the property and a basketball hoop. There are three picnic areas with BBQ pits and a well equipped gym. We also have an onsite restaurant and spa (Open on weekends for limited hours) This makes the Island a perfect place for any season.
We have a two night minimum for weekends and will consider one night stay over the weekdays.

The place overall was very nice and clean, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only concerns are that the bed really needs to be replacedā€”it sank in immediately and offered little to no support. The regular coffee maker was missing the pot, and while there was a Keurig available, it hadnā€™t been descaled, (machine says it needs to be descaled) which made the coffee taste unpleasant.

Very peaceful area with roaming deer, quiet evenings and not crowded at all. The condo was very clean, comfortably furnished with everything you need. This unit is very close to the main pool. Very responsive manager as well.

Getaway

The place a location was great. The a/c did stop working last night and we found a portable one in the owners closet (it was at 2am didnā€™t want to bother you figured you had to have a fan at least) and the dryer also didnā€™t work at all I restarted it four times and it never dried clothes I noticed the lint trap had water dripping from it could be clogged idk. But everything else was amazing WE NEED RAIN

Thereā€™s a photo that states ā€œview from the balconyā€ that shows water in the lake. The lake is in fact dry from view from the property and was told by one of the maintenance workers that side of the lake has been dry since 2020. Although thatā€™s beyond the control of the host, maybe you should update that particular photo. The kitchen was well equipped and although I would have washed the dishes prior to using them I found several dishes dirty that NEEDED to be washed before using them. The unit could definitely use some updating. The area was quiet which was the best part since I was there for a quiet, relaxing vacation away from the city. The host should consider updating the furniture, dishes, carpet and all thatā€™s left for the guest to use. Also, I washed a load of towels because they were limited but the dryer took forever to dry all the towels. Definitely do not recommend.

Photos show a water view from the balcony but based on how tall the grass is I would bet it has been months if not years since there was water in that channel. Had to leave a night early because there was an 8ā€ centipede crawling around inside the condo and the owners wouldnā€™t do anything about it except accuse me multiple times of leaving the door open (which I definitely did not).

Gorgeous Villa

This is a beautiful little island that the villa is on. Watch out for deer on your drive in, because they were everywhere. The Villa itself was spacious and very clean. The furniture was comfortable. And although we didnā€™t use it very much, the kitchen was large, clean, and well furnished. My wife and I would definitely come back to this place.

Mother-Daughter trip

The villa is so clean and well appointed. The bed is so comfortable. Itā€™s super quiet. The pool was wonderful. The host sent detailed information on local places as well as information related to the villa. The deer roaming the property are an added bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this condo at The Island in Lago Vista, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I booked the unit, the owner was incredibly accommodating and flexible, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The condo itself was beautifulā€”well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the owner put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming space. Everything in the unit worked perfectly, from the appliances to the Wi-Fi, making it easy to feel right at home. One of the best parts of the experience was the ease of access and parking. Checking in and out was a breeze, and there was always ample parking available, which made coming and going hassle-free. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this condo if you're looking for a relaxing getaway at The Island in Lago Vista. The owner truly went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay, and I can't wait to return!

Beautiful property

The property was exceptional. We were disappointed that the coffee pot was broken, the linens were not high quality like you would expect with such nice property, ran out of paper towels with no extras, early morning noises like leaf blowers and dumpster people, barking dog and other amenities like shower caddy and bath rug were Dollar Tree quality.

We enjoyed staying here at the property. It was peaceful and quiet. Just the type of getaway we wanted. I wish we had water on the side we were on but the area with a water view was a short walk away.

When we first drove to the Island at Lago Vista, we fell in love with this place. There is something magical about Lago Vista. The place, the people, it just has a very happy feeling. We live just 20 miles away, but when we come here, it feels like a vacation. Adults and Kids love the amenities on this property. Lago Vista is much laid back, resort style community with not much hustle bustle or crazy traffic. This is a perfect place to come down and enjoy the beautiful nature or just sit back and relax.
