This home exceeded our expectations! Comfortable, cozy, impeccable decorating detail. Wonderfully located , within walking distance to downtown Bath. Easy access to highway. Highly recommend this home.

My family truly enjoyed our week at this lovely home. It has the charm of an old house with all the modern conveniences. I loved sitting out on the rocking chairs in the sun room in the morning with a cup of coffee or during a rain storm. Everything was super clean and it had all we needed for a great week.

A wonderful place

We LOVED our stay in Bath. This home was beautifully decorated, with every attention given to detail, as well as being immaculately clean, from top to bottom. Although we didn’t cook much, the kitchen was outfitted with everything one would need. We had a wonderful breakfast at Mae’s, a two minute walk away. We would certainly stay again!

A birthday celebration

This home is lovely. Beautifully renovated, with all the amenities. It's on a well traveled road but it was quiet. Close to many fun towns including Boothbay with the amazing Botanical Gardens.

BEYOND AMAZING!! Upon our arrival, we found our host's home immaculately clean. We've never stayed in a place so well prepared for us in advance. The home itself is lovely-- and it clearly shows the owners' investment of heart, financial resources, and decorating creativity in it. Everything one could ever need for a stay was available. The home's location was quite walkable to downtown Bath, and it was well situated for a wide range of mid-coast Maine day trips within an hour or less away. Local Bath-area stores for groceries, etc. were easily drivable, just minutes from the house. Our hosts were extraordinarily attentive; prompt in responding; generously kind; and highly professional at every step. Throughout our time there, it felt as if we were in the hands of friends, not absentee landlords. Because our vacation rental was longer than most, we had the opportunity to meet Linda and Carl personally when they stopped by at our request. Everything we had experienced remotely through VRBO's app messaging was subsequently borne out in person face-to-face. They are a genuinely personable, deeply caring couple who cherish their guests and the meaningful memories these guests make while in their home. Hosting others is a heartfelt passion for them, not simply a business. Thanks in part to our wonderful hosts and their beautiful home, this was the best vacation ever in my wife's and my long history of traveling together. Thank you!!!

Lovely, sparkling home that’s great for a family

We stayed with our three adult children and son-in-law for three nights and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Linda answered questions quickly, offered tips, and made sure we were comfortable. We had plenty of room. It’s also conveniently located near the center of Bath, with it’s quaint shops and parks, and not too far from Popham Beach.

Everything you want and need

Exceptional VRBO home. Crisp and clean. Updated with all amenities and well appointed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Hosts were responsive and generous. Even though on a busier road, the noise at night was not overbearing; and it’s the trade off to being within walking distance of a riverside park, farmers market, bookstore, shops and some great pastry and coffee shops. Will definitely rebook if in that area again.

Amazing stay

My wife and I rented Linda & Carl's house for our wedding weekend. It was the perfect spot to make our home base for the weekend. It's a beautiful historic home that has been renovated nicely and has all the amenities you could ever need. Nice large shower downstairs and large bathroom upstairs. Beds were comfortable, beautiful kitchen. Plenty of space for everyone. Great location close to downtown and the Maine Maritime Museum. Host was outstanding! Great communication, and they went above and beyond to make our weekend special. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking in the Bath area. Looking forward to staying again one day for an anniversary trip!

We had an outstanding experience staying at this property! Linda, the host, was so hospitable and easy to communicate with, the property was immaculate, and we so appreciated the little touches, like the welcome note and gifts that were there to greet us. We plan to stay here again in the future!

The property was lovely. Nicely decorated, VERY CLEAN, a well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The website pictures were accurate. Bedrooms were spacious enough for our family of 8 (5 adults, 3 babies) ,and the extra 2nd floor sitting room/office was ideal. There was plenty of space in the 2 living rooms and dining room. The TV room was perfectly comfortable for watching Soccer World Cup, and the separate, quiet screened-in porch was an added bonus for relaxing and reading. The AC was very comfortable; it was quite hot outside. We were walking distance to sites and the sidewalks were walkable.The host was very responsive and helpful.
