Five minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and a quick fifteen from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, this is a basecamp built for three couples, a small family, or the kind of getaway where everyone wants a little space of their own.



The view shows up the moment you walk in. The main living area opens around a stately stone fireplace and a smart TV, with plush seating angled toward windows that frame the mountains. The adjoining dining table seats six — ideal for shared meals, board games, or lingering over morning coffee while the ridgeline catches the light. Just beyond, a fully equipped kitchen with a sunny breakfast nook is ready for the cook in your group; bring the groceries and the rest is here. When the weather invites it, slide open the door to the screened-in porch and dine al fresco without a single bug crashing the party.



The main level is also home to the first king ensuite, with a full bathroom and a private TV. Out back, a generous deck offers more outdoor dining, a charcoal grill, plenty of seating, and a large hot tub built for soaking the day away — bonus points if a black bear or two wander across the yard while you're in it (it happens more than you might think).

Upstairs, two more king ensuites await, each with its own TV. One features a whirlpool tub for two, a separate shower, and a private upper balcony — a quiet spot for stargazing, sunrises, or a slow morning cup of something warm.



Downstairs, the lower level is built for play. A second living room with a fireplace and TV opens onto a game room with a pool table, a card-and-puzzle table, and a credenza that hides a mini-fridge for cold drinks. A full bathroom rounds out the floor — and the in-house washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter and stay longer.

A few practical extras worth knowing about: free Wi-Fi throughout, smart/streaming TVs in every living area, a long level driveway with plenty of parking (a small miracle on a Gatlinburg mountain), and central air on multiple zones so no one's fighting over the thermostat.



Free daily attraction tickets

Every day of your stay, Mountain Laurel Chalets gives each guest one complimentary ticket per attraction through their Xplorie concierge program — Dollywood and other area favorites included. Guests of Three Suite Retreat enjoy access to three Mountain Laurel clubhouses. The closest, the Upper Alpine Clubhouse, features a large outdoor pool, a wading pool with a fountain for the little ones, showers and changing rooms, and a game room stocked with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, video games, and chess and checkers.
