The beds were very comfortable. The location was excellent for what we were doing. The pool area was awesome. Even thou it rained while we were in the area our granddaughters still were able to swim since it was heated. The kitchen may need a few more mixing bowls that would be microwave friendly. Overall the house was beautifully done. We would definitely stay again. The only complaint we had was there isnā€™t an address on the house but we figured it out in the end. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Family Reunion

We rented this cabin for a family reunion in June! Great location in proximity to Lead, Deadwood, and surrounding activities. House had all the small wares you would need for a weekend stay. The community pool was in walking distance and kept clean as well.

We had a great stay!! The only thing I would like to make a comment about is the shower liner in the bathroom upstairs. Not to be full on rude but it was pretty gross. Needs to be replaced! Otherwise we had a great stay and enjoyed the property!!

Beautiful Rental

We have stayed in this housing development multiple times. It is in a great location for our family ski trips. Access to the Club House is an added perk with a heated pool, we only wished the beautiful fireplace would have been on to warm up next to. We have kids ranging from 1-13, this home has 2 sets of wooden stairs and baby gates are not provided, so bring your own for safety.The only thing that could be improved upon is the amount of stocked garbage bags (5), toilet paper (4) and paper towels (2). We had 12 people and stayed for 5 days, we had to make multiple trips into town to purchase more of these items. These items should absolutely be appropriately stocked for the amount of people and the length of stay, especially if there is a threat of a fine for garbage not being bagged.

If you have heavy objects to get into the house, be prepared for lots of stairs (garages & laundry on mail floor, all living accommodations on levels 2/3. Nicely furnished kitchen, although the only spices you'll find are salt/pepper. Bring everything else. Ample bedrooms. Hot tub was not plugged in and management company was not helpful in problem-solving. Was able to get it working by Googling an operations manual. Quiet area out back, yet neighbors are potentially close. Overall happy w the accommodations.

PROS: plenty of room, big bedrooms, location to many of the things we did, we felt like we were right in the middle either way. Outdoor space on back deck was great at night. Plenty of towels, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, and laundry items. Big refrigerator, fabulous dishes, and plenty of silverware. The hot tub was used only twice but very nice way to end the day. We had an early concern, but Ben was super responsive. The actual company werenā€™t sure who we were. CONS: hallway bathroom handle doesnā€™t stay on and we had a 5 year old panic he was locked in. We made big dinners and we needed more pans... one pan was completely burnt over on the inside and not usable. The place was fairly clean, however the door panels were quite dusty and the top of the shower was dirty all around the top. Exhausted fans in bathrooms need some wiping down as well as the BBQ grill outside.UPON ARRIVAL, the home has no number or name, so we werenā€™t positive we had the right place. I would stay here again, just may need a better cleaning company and address the building so it can be found.

We spent a few days visiting the Custer area so the drive was about an hour to visit those places but we would stay in the Lead area again due to the peaceful nature of this location. We drove from the house through the Spearfish Canyon area on 14A and there were many beautiful stops along the way. Highly recommend Roughlock Falls (very easy) and Devils Bathtub hike (especially with kids who are steady on their feet). Overall great stay and the communication with the property team was excellent. Highly recommend!

We were also lucky enough to take a swim in the heated community pool- another lovely amenity. Check in and out were extremely easy, and the house had everything we needed, plus some additional space. Just pack your own corkscrew! Entirely possible one was there, but we could not locate it. Lovely home, great location!
