The sounds of waves lapping the shore will transport you into full vacation mode. Our comfortable, clean and casual beach house offers incredible views of Moody Beach, north to Drakes Island, and south to Ogunquit Beach and the Marginal Way.

Outdoors: Your group of up to 12 guests will love the direct access to a private beach area where you can gather for swimming, sunshine, and game-playing fun. The sunrise over the ocean will welcome you to the day and sunsets on the Marsh side will lull you into an evening of coastal bliss.
The lawn surrounds the house; on the ocean side is a picnic table for seasonal outdoor dining and Adirondack chairs for relaxing…coffee and sunrise, anyone? The direct beachfront location will make your Moody Beach House stay a memory you and you gang can cherish forever.

The Beach House: Your 4-bedroom private beach getaway features an updated coastal interior with all the amenities to ensure your escape is the idyllic beach vacation you dream about. The first floor offers a versatile layout including spacious open concept kitchen and living area features oversized leather sofas and club chairs, so your group has plenty of room to cook, dine, chill, and play. Oversized ocean-facing windows open to the sights and sounds of the beach— where the ocean waves rushing to shore and the salty breezes floating through the screens will be the heartbeat of your stay.

The fully equipped and updated kitchen is open to the living room and includes an oversized island and pub-style table with seating for twelve. Well-appointed and updated, the kitchen includes cookware and utensils, dinnerware, flatware, and glassware. There’s even a lobster pot so you can steam some of Maine’s favorite fare—lobster, clams, and mussels, oh my. Sweet marsh views from the kitchen window mean there are water views from both the front and back of the house. The main floor also has an entry with a coat closet and a powder room.

Bedroom Spaces: Upstairs are three bedrooms, two with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. One queen room on the beach side opens to a cozy balcony with views of the dancing Atlantic; the second has windows so you can wake to the sunrise of fall asleep to the sounds of water lapping the shore; and the twin-bedded room, on the street side, has expansive views of the tidal river and salt marsh. A full bath with a tub/shower is located on this level.

The lower level of the beach house offers the 4th bedroom with one queen and two twin beds. It features its own entrance through sliders and also an interior entrance with stairs up to the main level, making it the perfect spot for the younger members of your gang. There is also a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and a washer and dryer on this level. A sleeper sofa in the living room accommodates kids/teens or any ‘extras’ in your group.

Our Location: Wells, Wells Beach, and Wells Harbor are right here for dining, grocery runs, and watersports like kayaking, fishing, and scenic tours. Kennebunk and Kennebunkport are an easy 15-minute drive and filled with cool local shops & galleries and a diverse choice of both casual and fine dining spots. Downtown Ogunquit is approximately 2 miles from the house so you can hit up the eateries, peruse the shops or grab a coffee and sit on a bench for people watching. At the edge of town is the entrance to The Marginal Way, a breathtaking 1.25 mile walk along a path above the rocky coast along the ocean. Perkins Cove in Ogunquit is at the end of the path and a mile from downtown. Fresh seafood, ice cream, local shops and boating charters make it a destination you won’t want to miss.
