Amazing property with an amazing view!

This property was even cooler than I had imagined. We absolutely loved it here and the view was incredible. The owner and the groundskeeper were also a delight to work with as well cannot recommend this place enough!

beautiful place , will def be back! Had a great time with family and made wonderful memories enjoyed the pool when we got back from jaco beach. wonnderful restaurants close proximity to property. Pelon was excellent help with any questions we had.

50th Birthday Party with family and friends

We had six couples and enjoyed being altogether in luxury setting, pool was awesome, and cooking meals together and sharing the amazing views made this an extra special vacation!

Amazing Getaway

We had a few hiccups with getting to the place but all was made right and we would 100% stay again. My husband and I stayed with 3 of our children ages 17, 15, & 9. We loved that we were away from everything but close enough for when we wanted to be at the beach or in the town. The views are amazing. We spent a lot of time on the patio's or in the pool just admiring the views. To make sure your trip goes smooth here are few tips: Try and arrive the first time in the daylight. The roads to the home are dirt, and there aren't a lot of road signs, daylight helps. Rent a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. The hills are steep and you most likely will not make it up in 2WD. An offline map of the area would be useful because reception was spotty. We did not want to leave and are already trying to plan a trip back with friends where we can rent both sides of the house.

Superbe propriété, bien située, bon choix qualité/prix, sécurisé par propriétaire et gérant sur place. Demandez ce qu’il vous manque, il vous sera fourni. Montée dans la montagne cimentée, plages à 10/15 minutes, aéroport à 90 minutes, épiceries et restaurants à volonté!Besoin d’un peu d’amour mais on nous a dit que ça s’en vient!

A MUST STAY!!!!!

I cannot rave about this place enough. From the phenomenal breathtaking views to the beautiful spacious home, there is absolutely nothing more you could want. The place was spotless and instantly inviting. The shower in the master bath is almost reason enough to stay here. It's conveniently located mere minutes from the beach but because it's secluded high up in the mountains it's completely private and peaceful. That's also why the views can't be beaten. You literally feel like you are on top of the world. With absolutely no obstructions in sight, you could spend the entire day just taking in that view. I will definitely stay here again and 100% recommend this place to anyone traveling to Costa Rica.

Beautiful place with an amazing view

Once you check in, you don’t want to check out. The view is outstanding and it makes you want to stay inside the house and just soak in all the sun by the pool, and enjoy your surrounding. A paradise in the middle of a mountain.

Great place to relax and to have fun

This villa was the perfect home for privacy for our away-from-home fun and relaxation. The rooms are nice, and the ocean view excellent. Even though we were relatively far from the beach (10 minutes) and Jacó, we didn't have any trouble getting there, back or anywhere else because we had Hardy and his minivan. Hardy took us everywhere when we wanted, and showed us great places in the area for food and R&R.

Awesome property! Looking forward to coming back.

We drove up and were greeted by a friendly caretaker, who showed us to our rooms. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. Location was private, and the view from the balcony was AMAZING!! Definitely check this house out if you're looking to stay near Jaco but away from all of the hustle and bustle. We found the city to be a bit loud at night.

Great place to stay!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful house for a few days. It has the most amazing views of playa hermosa as well as the surrounding jungle. It s the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days in a very private setting, while at the same time you're just a short drive from downtown playa hermosa and jaco. the caretaker, whose name is Pelon, is super cool and very helpful if you need anything during your stay. I highly recommend staying at this house!

The house is beautiful

The home is beautiful with fabulous views. Lonny was quick to respond with any questions we had. Tons of space in the townhome for families and couples traveling together. The pool is fantastic. Very clean. It was great to just hang there and stare out over the mountains and ocean. Would recommend to everyone!

Thanks Lonny!!

We were there for a weekend to spent some time with my cousin before her wedding. She and my other friends loved this house, the view is amazing, you can see the mountain in one side and the ocean in the other.It was the perfect choice to rest and disconect yourself of everything. I hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing 3 weeks in this beautiful piece of heaven

We stayed in this house for 3 weeks over Christmas. It was simply amazing. Lonny was fantastic to deal with and the guard Pelone was superb. He only speaks Spanish but make an effort and learn the basics of Spanish and use a translator. You are in Costa Rica and they do speak Spanish after all. We sat for a couple of nights talking and it was great we had no problems communicating. Both Lonny and Pelone made sure that we had everything we needed. We had 5 monkeys, toucans, macaws and green parrots right at the house. The pool is great and the view is simply amazing. The house is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice, it was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. I fully intend on staying here next time we visit Costa Rica and do not hesitate recommending it, in fact, I have already recommended it to people. I just can't say enough about this property. One important note is that you need a 4x4 vehicle.

Costa Rica Vacation Paradise - Playa Hermosa, Jaco

What a fabulous time we had in Costa Rica! The house and surroundings were beautiful. Having local people available through the owner, for guidance and scheduling activities is a tremendous plus for renting this place. We fished, did the Zip Line, hiked, did tourist things and just has a great time.

Spectacular ocean view home

We spend one week at this beautiful villa with my husband, daugther, grandson and brother in law.The house was well equipped with a news furnitures, very confortable and clean. The big infinity pool is very weel maintained with a spectacular ocean view. This place is very safe, peacefull and private. The guardian Nestor is very helpfull and take care of your confort. Maaika give exellentes informations for the road and more.The owner answer each time by mail or phone with happiness. We enjoy a nice week an recommend this property. Don't forget you need a 4X4.

Mountain House

The house was awesome. It has a million dollar view. You can sit in the poor and look at the ocean all day long and it never gets old. Built on top of one of the mountains in Playa Hermosa, you could not ask for more. Recommend renting a 4x4 to get up to the house. The home was very safe and away from everyone else. The caretaker was very helpful. He does only speaks spanish, but you are in Costa Rica, and it was okay because I speak spanish also. I would highly recommend the house. We will be renting again. You are only ten minutes away from Jaco which has some great restaurants. The sushi place in town has a roll named after the owner of the house. Hermosa has some of the best waves for surfing in Costa Rica.

House and View are Beautiful/ Owner, Less than desired!

I'll start with the positives. The house "itself" is very lovely. The views are wonderful. The grounds caretaker, Miguel was helpful,but doesn't speak English. He washed our car. He was waiting for us one night when the electricity was out to get candles. After seeing us return w/ our computer he showed us the usb in the drawer to get internet. My girls loved the pool. Now the negative. The 1st time I spoke with Lonny was fine. He said that a person in CR named Maaike would handle all other reservations for the house and gave me her contact info. After a week of trying to contact her I emailed Lonny back and said I changed my mind because I got a bad feeling because the 3 #'s and emailing Pacific Travel with no response from her. The next day I heard from her in an email and then spoke on the phone. Several weeks go by waiting for a contract to sign, finally get it after several more emails asking for it. Then about 1 mth before the trip I start asking her for the info on the location of the house and who I'm to meet. No response! A week before we leave I start CC Lonny when I send Maaike emails thinking if she doesn't answer he will. Wrong! Finally I call him. He's very short with me and said I'll get what I need before I arrive. Several emails occur my first 5 days in CR, with bits and pieces of location info. Needless to say somehow we did manage to find our way to the house. Here's the kicker the road you take to get to the house is the road Maaike lives on. So why this was a problem for her to get me a location I will never understand. It was her husband that meet us to take us to the house. The house needs a really good cleaning! It was tidy at best. The 1st hour there I realized that the sheets to the main bedroom were dirty. A dirty damp towel in the bathroom was my 1st red flag and the way the bed was made didn't look right. So I pull the comforter back to find dirt or food in the sheets and you could tell it was slept in. So now I'm washing sheets, towels in the 1st hour. Needless to say I refused to speak with Lonny again because I knew I'd go off. My husband is the one that talked with him after that. Lonny keeps his clothes in the closet and dressers. He's toiletries in the bathroom. So you'll need to keep yours in your luggage or the other bedrooms. I recommend a place called Ocean Ranch to zip line. Even though the house is nice, just needs better cleaning and removal of personal items. Lonny and Maaike were nothing but headaches.

Pura Vida!

The home and view were incredible. It was peaceful and tranquil and tropical birds were abundant The road up to the home was nerve racking first time or two, but well maintained and well secured access to home. The photos cannot do this property justice. The home we immaculate and well maintained with all appliances / features in working order. The home was minutes away from Playa Hermosa where we had a beachside massage that was fantastic and minutes away from Chiclet's Canopy Tour which was awesome. The guides / crew were fabulous. We hope to return again in the future and continue to explore this amazing and incredible paradise.
