Guest Access:
• Vehicle Requirements: For your comfort and safety, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is essential during the snow season (October–May) and highly recommended year-round due to our natural dirt roads and steep inclines.
• Winter Flexibility: Our local community volunteers work hard to maintain the roads, but heavy snow (especially in February and March) can cause delays. We suggest keeping your travel schedule flexible when snow is in the forecast.
Parking & Driveway Navigation
• Arrival & Maneuvering: Our long, narrow driveway can accommodate up to six vehicles with an additional two inside the garage.
• Backing In: For the easiest departure, we recommend backing up the driveway upon arrival; turning a vehicle around at the top can be tight when the garage is occupied.
• Departure: We highly recommend exiting the driveway facing forward due to the steep mountain incline.
• Route Tip: There is no need for a multi-point turn at the base of the drive; simply continue forward and your GPS will seamlessly redirect you back to Hwy 24.
• Important Note: To maintain access for neighbors and emergency services, parking on the road is strictly prohibited at all times.
• Planning: If traveling with a large group, please coordinate your parking order to minimize the need for vehicle shuffling.
Arrival & Home Access
• First Entry: Your initial access to the home will be via the deck stairs leading to the front door.
• Secure Entry: You will receive a unique personal lock code prior to arrival for effortless self-check-in.
• Garage Use: Inside the home, you will find two garage door remotes available for your use throughout your stay.
• Checkout Reminder: Please ensure both garage remotes are returned to their original location before you depart.

Hot Tub Maintenance
To ensure a pristine experience, our hot tub is professionally maintained weekly or bi-weekly depending on the season.
• Service Access: Our trusted expert, Christian, requires access only to the backyard to clean and treat the unit.
• Scheduling: Service typically occurs on Wednesdays. If you are on the premises when he arrives, we kindly ask that you allow him a few moments to complete this essential task.
Cleanliness & Checkout Policy
We take immense pride in providing a clean, tidy, and thoroughly disinfected space for every guest.
• Prompt Checkout: Because we often accept same-day reservations, our cleaning team requires the full window to prepare the home.
• Late Checkout: We are unable to accommodate late checkout requests. Please ensure you have booked the correct number of days to allow for a prompt 11:00 AM checkout.
• Late Fee: To respect our team's schedule, a $250 fee will be applied to your reservation if the house is not vacant by 11:30 AM.
Cancellation Procedures: While we adhere to the cancellation window selected at the time of booking, please be advised that all refunds are subject to a 3.2% non-refundable processing fee. This amount covers the costs charged by our payment processor and is withheld from the total refund amount should you choose to cancel within the allowed timeframe.

Mountain Roads & Winter Access
• AWD/4WD Requirement: During the snow season (October – May), an AWD or 4WD vehicle is mandatory to access the house.
• Driveway Conditions: While county roads are maintained and we strive to keep our property clear, our long driveway is on an incline. Even a small amount of snow or ice can make navigation difficult for non-4WD vehicles.
• Planning: Please reach out to your host with any questions regarding road conditions prior to finalizing your travel plans.
Extended Stays
• Deep Cleaning: Reservations of 10 days or longer are subject to a deep cleaning fee.

We had a fantastic stay at this log home. It was beautifully maintained, fully stocked with everything we needed, and the views were grear. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Overall, a really great experience—we’d definitely come back.

Came here with the book clubs girls and we had an amazing time! The house was the perfect size for six of us. We loved each having our own room and had plenty of space to spread out. The whole place was clean and had gorgeous views. The outdoor patio and hot tub area were huge hits as well. Great communication from the hosts so we knew what to expect. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is in a beautiful mountain area. The views are spectacular! The kitchen was well stocked, and we were able to make some wonderful meals without any issues. The steps are unavoidable, so if you have any issues with mobility, you will have to climb stairs, just a warning. No one in our party had issues. I really recommend this property! We made some wonderful memories. You will not be disappointed.

Great relaxing stay

Beautiful Mountainside Home!!
Highly recommend this property! The owners have paid attention to every little detail to make you feel right at home, even your furbaby! In close proximity to local attractions or just stay on property to enjoy the peaceful, gorgeous views from the decks or inside the cozy, inviting home with plenty of space for everyone! Great mountain getaway
Stayed with a group of 9 adults and we had a great time. The house was well described and perfect for what we were looking for.
The tips for backing up the driveway were clutch, as we're the portable space heaters that came in handy! The property was well maintained and the hosts were very easy to get a hold of and super responsive. Would highly recommend!

Cabin in the CO
Everything you could have needed plus more was available. We wanted to grill some steaks and the manager quickly replied to let us know what type of grill and that they had some charcoal on the property. Then when I went to cook it had a stocked spice area which was unexpected. The cabin had a beautiful Christmas tree which made it still feel feel like the Holidays.
