Welcome to Sea Den, a charming corner unit Solana Beach vacation rental in the desirable Del Mar Shores Terrace community. This cozy two bedroom, two bath condo offers peek ocean views, beach access, and resort style amenities. Perfect for families or couples seeking a relaxing San Diego coastal getaway.
Please note: Construction is underway in the complex, and some daytime noise may occur. Please call us for more details.

Management company was good to work with and very responsive. We prefer a keyless entry check in process

This gated community requires a fob for access, which must be picked up from our office conveniently located across the street. While a keyless entry isn’t possible here, we aim to make the check-in process as seamless as possible. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back soon!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, easy access to the beach, safe & secure, clean surroundings. Stubbs were kind enough to offer complimentary beach chairs and toys. Overall a good experience except for some minor niggles, recommended.

Review of our stay at the Sea Den Coastal Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience at this condo was mixed. The location near the ocean, the pool and hot tub were awesome. The bedrooms and master bathroom were very nice, updated and clean. The kitchen, living area and 2nd bath were not what we expected. There was a musty odor in the unit and there were old candles and empty oil diffusers to show that the owner was aware of the issue. We bought a candle and aired the place out which helped, but the guest bathroom never got better. The living area and outdoor tables were dated and rusted. The kitchen was not that clean and I wasn't comfortable putting food in the cabinets. The washer/dryer did not work well enough to use for anything other than the lightest clothes. I think the owner could have done some deep cleaning, updated a little and given the place some TLC to totally make any renter feel good about the place. If you are only looking for location and a basic place to stay, this will work for you.

I'll be back for more because it's not a tumor.

Loved the space and the bluff top pool ,spa, lounging area. Just beautiful. And you can sneak down to the beach pretty much any time to argue with the universe.. I never succeeded in changing Zeus's mind. I sure did try. The stubs group staff was helpful and extremely beach zibed....dudes. Come on down and see

Great place, highly recommend!

This place was awesome! Parking was in a parking garage just below the place. Walk to the beach with kids was easy (lots of stairs) but other than that, very easy. The pool/hot tub are right at the top of the stairs that go to the beach. There is a place to rinse off when you come in from the beach and then you can hop in the pool/hot tub. My only complaint about the place would be that there should be more places to hang wet stuff. It's a vacation rental right at the beach with a pool/hot tub so most families will have a lot of wet stuff to hang up. It would be nice to be able to hang that stuff up better in the shower/tub. The rooms were great. One bedroom had a big king bed and the other had 2 twin beds, which were great for Grandma and son. We would and probably will stay again!

Nice, but flawed.

Property as pictured. The damp smell did fade with the use of Lysol and candles. We did find tiny ants throughout the condo. The washing machine works for smaller loads only. The dryer needs to be serviced as the heating element was broken. Would have liked a second set of king size top sheets as we stayed for more than 1 week.The couple upstairs create a great deal of noise in the predawn hours, which woke us up. I’m thinking this is due to poor insulation in the building.

We provide backup sheets in the unit, and if they weren’t there, we’d be happy to deliver them right away. We also understand that oceanfront properties can sometimes have a moisture smell, and we’ll ensure it’s addressed for future guests. Regarding the washer, dryer, and noise, we’ll look into those issues and make necessary improvements. The building’s age does contribute to some noise, but we’ll review ways to minimize disruptions. We’d love to host you again!

Great Location

This property gave our 4 person family plenty of room to stay. It was in a great location, right by Solana Beach with a nice pool, hot tub, and excellent beach access. There is good security there. There were nice commodities at the place with a good sized kitchen and dining area. There was enough shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, etc. for several days. There were tv’s in all the rooms. The living room provided a good couch and chairs. There is a nice spot on the patio to sit and relax. You can see the ocean from the place but it’s not directly facing the ocean. The only issue we had with this place was a damp smell when we first arrived. If you keep the dehumidifier running and you empty it out when full, then the smell goes away.

No Heat & Not Kid Friendly

Hi, There was no heat in the property, and the heat was broken when we moved in. This resulted in 2 x wasted days of my holiday, being freezing & waiting for the property management to get the heat fixed. Do not stay at this Condo if you have kids. There are at tonn of rules: no playing, no balls, no noise, etc. If you have children it is not possible to go to the pool and have any fun. Do not stay here... instead try to find a family friendly property. Thanks, LM

Our team worked diligently, including spending hours on a Sunday, to address your concerns and provided portable heaters as a temporary solution. The heating system does have safety features that auto-shutoff when overheated, which we suspect was a factor here. Regarding the pool rules, those are set by the HOA, and we, unfortunately, have no control over them. We aim to ensure all guests have a positive stay and partially reimbursed you for the inconvenience caused. We’ll review your feedback to improve our services further. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the property in Solana Beach. It was a very nice location just up the cliff from the beach with a very nice pool and hot tub. The condo itself was well furnished and the appliances worked well including the grill. There were ants in the unit which could be easily remedied with a trap or two and it was a little musty which worked itself out after we aired the unit out for a couple of days. Overall a very positive experience.
