Saranac Lake is a year round resort with many many things to see & do. This home is perfectly situated 1 mile from downtown Saranac Lake's bars & restaurants, yet secluded on a quiet private road. No neighbors can be seen from the property. 1 mile from Lake Flower boat ramp and new rail trail, 1 mile from downtown Saranac Lake, 3 miles from Mt Pisgah, 7 easy miles from Lake Placid & Olympic Village, 19 miles from Whiteface mountain, Memorial Drive & North Pole Santa's Village. There are beaches, boat ramps, kayaking, hiking trails, snow tubing, snowmobiling, X country skiing nearby. Also, there is the Ski jump, bobsled and public ice skating in Lake Placid. Boat rentals available nearby for total enjoyment on the Saranac chain of lakes. We have 3 kayaks and a canoe available for use in nearby Lake Flower or second pond. This log home has 2 large bedrooms on the main floor both with Queen size beds. A large newly renovated bathroom w/ stand up shower also on the main floor. On the lower level is a private entrance large 3rd bedroom which has a twin over full bunk bed and a queen size bed. A 2nd bathroom with a bathtub is located on the lower level. The lower level room can handle a whole family on its own. An open area living room with a beautiful artisan stone fireplace will keep you warm at night. 8 man pub dining table and a fully equipped newly renovated kitchen. Off to the side is a screened in porch and a back deck with a patio table/chairs and stainless steel gas BBQ. (propane provided). In the side yard is a patio/fire pit with Adirondack chairs for enjoying a camp fire and relaxing. Washer/ Dryer is provided. Free high speed Wi-Fi provided. 50' HD TV in living room and 32" led tv downstairs. Blue ray DVD and sound bar. Kuerig K cup machine with complimentary coffee. *No extra pet fees*
This property is best suited for families with a max accommodation of 6 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. Some of us napped and hung around this peaceful cabin or went snowshoeing, while others went into town for some live music and good food. We didnā€™t have a huge group, but there is plenty of room here. The outside area is just as cozy and welcoming as the inside. We were lucky to have had a fresh snowfall before we arrived, so it was a beautiful winter wonderland. The fireplace and the fire pit were the best part for me. The place was clean and very well maintained. The host is accommodating, friendly and responsive. We hope to return in the future.

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful part of the country, you really can't go wrong staying here. We loved the local hikes, and the proximity to Lake Placid made for an exciting day trip. Our corgi loved exploring the wilderness, she was very upset when we had to leave. The house is amazing and a perfect place to decompress for a few days. Everything was very clean and also very cozy. Jason provided excellent check in/out instructions and was very responsive. Thanks again, Jason!

Absolutely beautiful home nestled in a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy yet still close to town for ice and beer runs. Highlight of home was newer clean grill, beautiful firepit, and boats with trailer. Enough boating space for the entire family to be on the water at once. Took owner recommendation and launched at second pond, got to see lots of lakes from here. Caught sunfish, perch and bass. Great Adirondack vacation, would stay here again.

Saranac Bliss

We have stayed in this home 3 times now and every year we love it. It just feels like home. Always clean and always ready for us to stay. Jason is so helpful and couldnt ask for a more responsive property manager. From the beautiful property and all the pretty trees. My dog also loved roaming around and playing with the girls in the snow. As usual cant wait to come back next year.

Thanksgiving in Saranac Lake

This is our second stay at the house. It is cozy, warm, and inviting and has a perfect location. Tucked away under the pines but minutes from town. And we had snow!! A wonderful holiday.

Beautiful and Spacious home

The house as a whole, was very clean and well appointed. The main bathroom was very nice. Everything needed for an awesome family stay was there. From, the kitchen which had most anything needed for cooking. The outside layout was great. The fire pit for s'mores was really nice. They actually had all the supplies for s'mores too, which was a surprise. The deck outside, and enclosed porch was great too. We had such a restful stay, and would certainly return.

The property is even nicer than the photos! We were very pleased with everything. It was immaculate. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. The instructions were comprehensive and very helpful. Jason was very easy to reach. We are already planning our next stay!

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The house is spacious and accommodated our family which included an infant and a toddler. The house is conveniently located about a mile from the new bike trail and it was a short drive to Lake Placid. The owners were responsive to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Family reunion

This cozy home in the woods provided the perfect setting for our family reunion. The large dining table set the place for warm family gatherings. With the house set back a comfortable distance from the road, we could be assured that our young grandchildren would be safe too. Last, the house is located in a convenient location enabling us to easily take advantage of the Adirondack setting.

Cozy cabin in the woods

Highly recommend this property for a stay in the Lake Placid region. Communication with homeowner was prompt and clear, and check in was a breeze! The cabin was spotlessly clean, very cozy, warm and welcoming. The decor matched the surroundings and gave the house an upscale, rustic feel. All the appliances worked great and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, glassware, cookware, etc. you could possible need. There were even spices available in the cabinet! The wood burning stove/fireplace was great, adding warmth and charm to the living area. Some wood was provided by the homeowner...and more wood was easily available to purchase at nearby stores. The location was convenient to virtually all of the attractions in the area, with drive times generally less than 15 minutes. 5 STARS+++

House in the woods

We are hikers so we are looking for a place to lay our head, shower and make some food and cold drinks or hot. Beautiful house and well stocked. We tried using the fire pit but the bugs were bad and the citronella candles were all gone so we just retreated inside for drinks and playing cards. Thank you Jason & Dora for sharing your get away place with us.

This is a very comfortable home that can accommodate a large family. Beautiful private area yet so close to town. As Neil Peart says, the best Adirondack cabins have a warm fireplace and good internet. We have both.
