Hi Sonya, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry that your stay did not meet the high standards we strive to provide. We sincerely appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. As soon as we learned about the issues with the fishing poles, bikes, and pillows, we replaced them as quickly as possible because we want every guest to be able to enjoy all of the amenities we offer. We also immediately offered to have our housekeeping team return to address any cleaning concerns, but we completely understand and respected your preference not to have anyone come in during your stay. Your comments regarding the electrical outlets, bedroom odor, bedding comfort, and housekeeping have all been taken seriously and shared with our maintenance and cleaning teams so they can be thoroughly addressed. We are also reviewing our pre-arrival inspection process to help ensure everything is in excellent condition before each guest arrives. We went above and beyond to make your stay as amazing as possible. However, it was not correct for you to say that unless you get compensated, you will leave a bad review. That was very unnecessary and incorrect considering your host took great care of everything for you and your family. No house is perfect. That’s why all vacation rentals have managers to take care of issues as they arise. This was clearly done for you and your family and so there was no justification for you to be compensated. We genuinely regret that your vacation was not the experience you had hoped for. We care deeply about our guests and are always committed to responding quickly and doing everything we can to make things right.
