Stay Directly on the Beach! Our SUPER CLEAN, newly renovated, four-unit complex, "Almost Heaven," offers the perfect beachfront getaway. Located just 5-6 houses away from the Surfside Fishing Pier and five local restaurants, our oceanfront units provide unparalleled convenience and stunning views.

Stay on the Beach, Not Near It! All units are direct oceanfront, offering breathtaking views and direct beach access.

Accommodations:
- 2BR/2BA unit with a full kitchen
- Townhouse setup: 1 bedroom upstairs (2 full beds), 1 bedroom downstairs (1 queen and 1 trundle bed) with bathroom
- Queen Sleeper in the living room
- Conveniently located on the 2nd floor, overlooking the ocean
- Semi-private deck with 2 rocking chairs
- Private parking for two vehicles in our lot
- Living Room/Dining Room/Kitchen Combo with full fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and all kitchen utensils, glasses, and cookware
- Central air/heat and ceiling fans in each room
- Shared washer/dryer
- Outdoor deck and outdoor shower
- Entertainment: 3 flat-screen TVs (40 inch), 2 DVD/VCR combos, and FREE unlimited WIFI
- 2 outdoor charcoal grills and private outdoor shower with key

Additional Units:

We offer two 2-bedroom/1-bath units for 6-8 guests and a 3-bedroom/3-bath unit for 13 guests. Perfect for family gatherings—rent all four units for a private, yet communal vacation experience!

Pet-Friendly:

We welcome friendly, housebroken dogs with a $100 pet fee per dog (subject to weight and breed approval).

Amenities:

- Linens provided (included in the cleaning fee)
- Access to beach, laundry, and parking

Our stay at Almost Heaven was very nice ! The location was great. The oceanfront house had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Right on the beach

Other than getting information about the codes to get in, we didn’t have any contact or response from the manager. The air conditioner went out on Saturday we left on Monday. We notified the manager about the issue. We repaired the screen door that was hanging on one hinge.

Nice in general

Property was nice, clean, and had a great location. Owner quickly responded to any concerns we had, but had a prickly attitude about it at times. Some repairs around the property were identified by us and repaired while we were there: loose decking ( I fell through, but was only bruised), leaky outside shower. Roof leak was reported to owner. Paperwork was unclear and contradictory about key to the place and whether or not additional outside showers exist. Additional outside showers do exist, but they are non-functioning and were locked with no key provided. Despite the concerns, we enjoyed our stay.

Right on the beach!

We loved the location. There was some construction going on in the unit next door but we were told of that before booking so that wasn’t a problem. Nice place overall.

Perfect beach & walkable location

A little dated, but perfect pet friendly complex. Beautiful beach close to Surfside Beach Pier. Host & manager Elise was extremely nice and helpful during our stay.

Hidden Gem

This property was great! It was right on the beach with a killer view, in a quiet neighborhood outside of Myrtle Beach but still close to everything, very well furnished, and pet friendly. Would highly recommend and am already thinking about my next vacation there!

No Happy

Very unhappy. Doors were hard to open and close. Some would not stayed lock. Ran out of hot water in less than 2minutes. The mattress on the beds were worn out. Too soft no support and you always ended up in the middle. We got very little sleep. Came home exhausted. Worst vacation ever. We should get a total refund for being put thru all that misery.

Short get-away.

This was a very nice property right on the beach. Great for two but could accommodate approximately 10. Dogs allowed, which is a plus. Would recommend and would stay there again. Easy walk to good restaurants.

We would be sitting on the back porch and all of a sudden she would pop up right in the middle of our conversations.

Great place, dog friendly, attentive owner

Spent two weeks in the ground floor unit. Clean. Well maintained. Nice to have private outdoor showers for each unit. Full kitchen plus shared laundry room. Beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs all available. No beach view from ground floor but screened in porch was nice. Beach was not too crowded. Fairly close to pier and hotel so not exactly secluded either. BEACH DOES NOT ALLOW DOGS during most of the day during the summer. Also, surfing is only allowed either one mile north or south of this spot. Pop up tents only allowed back near dunes. Nearby state park and Brookgreen gardens were awesome. Bubba's seafood right down the street was very tasty. Elise the owner was extremely conscientious.

Perfect beach getaway

Home was clean and bright and the absolute perfect location. Walking distance to food and stores. Far enough away that the beach in front of house was not overloaded with people. We will be back.

Good location

Great location on the beach, walking distance to 5-6 restaurants. Clean unit, except for the 4 Palmetto bugs (otherwise known as roaches to those not from the South) we killed upon arriving. No where to put toiletries except under the small vanity in bathroom. No hair dryer. Spectacular ocean view in living room (windows in desperate need of cleaning). The entire building is in need of a complete overhaul, but for the money, it's decent. Great communication with the owner/manager. Would I stay again? No. If rather pay a little more for a newer, more updated place.

Loved this property. Everything we needed within walking distance.

We loved this area and this property. The beach was not overly crowded and we could walk to places to eat, shop and ice cream! We did rent a golf cart, too. We enjoyed being able to take our dogs with us. Surfside does not allow dogs on the beach during peak season but just down the road at Garden City Beach we could take the dogs on the beach. Myrtle Beach was less than 30 minutes away so we were able to visit there but it is too crowded for me! I prefer the laid back atmosphere of Surfside.

Right on the beach but bottom level so no view

Great location but the beds!!! Really need to spend a little money & get new mattresses. Also make sure to bring your own toilet paper we had enough for 1 day, only 2 people.
