Beautiful View- lovely, thoughtful touches

We rented this unit for a family reunion. The view of the beach was beautiful and, four our two year old, we were thankful for the extra netting over the balcony railing. We so appreciated the beach supplies available (toys, chairs) as well as the signs to help us know about how to use the ceiling fans, wifi, journal etc.. We were a little disheartened about the bedrooms being open to each other. Our 2 year old is a little loud for the 14 year old in the next room even when there is a complete wall to ceiling set up. We also wished that there had been a laundry machine but the Washeteria was close and the owner was so nice. We loved the fast elevators and the wagons for going down to the beach were a GREAT help. I wish the loungers were updated at the pool deck. The front desk was very nice, always. We appreciated the carts to get groceries etc., in and out too. Back to the unit- there were a ton of cute and thoughtful decorations but I would personally trim them down for practicality purposes. I.E. pillows and stuffies were just in the way to sit down and because some (like the decor tray in the bathroom) weren't really clean. So glad for the no slip mat in the tub. Thermostat was responsive but I wished the vent didn't blow directly onto the couch. The knobs on the bathroom cabinet tended to scratch you so I would change them out. I never really figured out the 3 tv remotes but we didn't need them. The board games and binoculars were a great surprise! the pillows and mattress were great in our room. The ice maker in the freezer is messed up- it would clack loudly and we had to turn it off. There's not a lot of room beside the beds but some kind of ledge for a phone would be nice- the floor isn't too far, though- it worked. The bedside lights were beautiful and worked well. I would have loved if the owners had a map of their favorite places available! Like best place for groceries/eat out nice vs casual. BTW Russo's is THE BEST. Overall, wonderful
