Our pool rules are designed to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and are applied consistently, regardless of how busy the pool may be. While your float may have seemed unobtrusive, our staff is responsible for enforcing the established policies equally for everyone. We also understand your concerns about attire at the pool. As long as swimwear is appropriate and complies with our posted policies, individual swimwear choices are generally left to each guest's discretion. Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you are a repeat customer to the Galvestonian and that your experience was pleasant and relaxing. The green wristbands are a security measure. There have been instances where people will use our free parking and walk in the front door and directly out to the pool, picnic area, and beach walkover as if it was public access. Unfortunately, many hotels and condos are having to implement this security feature. Owners and staff also wear wristbands so please don't feel singled out. We hope to see you again soon.
