Love the pool and all the amenities, we had a bunch of kids and they had so much fun. The adults loved the sauna and the hot tub. Great location, very scenic and beautiful surroundings.

Pros:Loved the “aquatic center”! Lots of room to spread out with a good sized group.Beds were super comfy. Cons: Primary bath could have used a deeper clean before we arrived. Not a particularly cozy home. Lighting was a bit wonky, lacked lamps.

We had 10 adults and 5 children- it was great to have 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The pool and hot tub were great - lots of pool toys and 2 basketball hoops. We cooked many meals and the kitchen had plenty of space, dishes, utensils and 2 dishwashers! We enjoyed the game room, ping pong, pool table and movie room.

There was so much to do at the house that we never left. The game room, the pool, the pool and ping pong tables and the outdoor seating area was enjoyed by everyone in our group. There was ample space for all of us to sleep and the beds were very comfortable. The host was very responsive if we had any questions. We are going to book this again next summer because we couldn’t think of anything the house was lacking.

We were a group of 15 ranging in ages 10-77. The dining room was large enough for a of us to eat together and the various game rooms were perfect for whatever you like — billiards, ping pong, video games and poker. The pool area was huge and the hot tub was a favorite gathering spot. Late night swims were a highlight. Management was in touch all through the reservation. No glitches but I was very confident anything would have been addressed. We highly recommend this property.

Our stay was amazing. The host was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed. The house is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. There was enough space and a variety of activities to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked and checking in and it was easy and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 16 from ages 7-72 really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house!! From the pool and hot tub to the pool table and game room we had plenty to keep us entertained on some really cold days! There is something for everyone and the open layout gives room for quality family time. The hosts were very responsive and helpful as well! We would definitely come back.

Spring Break Staycation!

We decided to have a short staycation in Rockford with another family. The house was really nice and had so many fun things for everyone to do! Really great experience!

Beautiful property!! My 6 year old dubbed this the Modern Mansion and made me promise to come back! Literally you don't even need to leave the property everything is there.

So much to do!

Enjoyed the ability to have a bedroom and bathroom for everyone, plenty of activities so no one was bored and plenty of room to sit and dine together as a family.

Great getaway

This home has it all! There is something to keep everyone entertained. On (in) a super quiet, peaceful street (neighborhood) but still close to downtown. Highly recommend this property.

This is an amazing house. I came here with my husband and two boys (4 and 1), my brother and his kids (5, 7), and all of the grandparents to celebrate my son's 4th birthday. The house is very comfortable for hosting a large family, with soft beds and linens, ample bathrooms and so much for the kids to do! From swimming every day in the pool to playing in the game room or just running around the large backyard, the kids had a blast!Location was also great for the family with a lot of great things to do from the children's museum to an amazing pumpkin patch!Couple of things I would have wanted to be aware of especially with a 1 year old and elderly guests:- There are a a number of steps coming into the house. There is a bedroom on the ground level but it doesn't have a door and is not really the most ideal. The next bedroom on the main floor only has a half bathroom. - There are leveling steps to the kitchen and down to the living room. Easy to trip on for both old and little legs- There are TVs everywhere - this is a great thing on one hand but on the other, it created lots of issues. Remotes were all missing, hdmi cables didn't work etc. - Kitchen lacked a lot of basic things for feeding a large family (serving bowls, cutting boards, etc)- Kids/baby supplies were light. Lastly, the management company was pretty good to work with once we were in the house but prior to checking in, it was a bit of a high-friction experience.

This is a fabulous house for a family get-together. The home is very clean and well furnished. There were enough bedrooms for us to peacefully sleep all thirteen of us. The beds were so comfortable with nice linens. Our kids from 4 through 18 found so many areas in which to hang out; the quiet sitting room upstairs, the video arcade downstairs, the pool table, the ping pong table, the poker table and certainly the large pool. The water was the perfect temperature, as was the room while the outdoor wind chill was 21 below zero. The WiFi was strong and the televisions allow you to reach any streaming platform. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and all appliances were in great working order. I would caution anyone, however, who may have difficulty with stairs. Main access to the property is up a good flight of stairs with the living area being “sunken” and kitchen elevated. Very beautiful windows overlooking wooded yard. We would highly recommend this home!

Beautiful Home - Amazing Accommodations

What a beautiful home! We were wowed when we walked in and that wowing didn't stop as we walked through the house. We had 4 families staying, ages 5-45, and everyone had room for sleeping and hanging out. Sleeping areas are setup very well, with a few bonus areas I didn't notice on the listing. So many bathrooms, what a luxury! The pool area was better than expected. Everything worked well - including the sauna. Thomas responded quickly, even though nothing I asked needed immediate attention. The entertainment offered in the home is second to none - and it's all spread out. Also a great home for hide and seek. Hope to stay again!

Great Place for Family Gathering - Exceptional Owner Responsiveness

Cerro Vista is the perfect place to host a multi-generational family gathering! We celebrated our 40th anniversary and had our 3 adult children and their families (total of 13) stay with us here for a week. Our objective was to spend time together without having to go anywhere to entertain the 5 grandchildren (ages 6mo - 8). This was definitely the right place.There was enough space that we could have multiple small gatherings going on at the same time ... billiards, ping pong, card game, swimming pool, movie/arcades, etc. As it turns out, since it rained nearly every day, these entertainment options were critical to helping keep everyone busy having fun without the need to pile into a car every day. There were so many rooms that the grandkids had a great time playing hide-and-seek.The kitchen is large (with very high end appliances) and helped keep our large group fed without trying to find restaurants that would host our large group. We could even seat everyone in the dining room at the same time!Of course with a house this large (and with frequent turnover of guests) there are likely to be operations question and/or issues. Tom was extremely responsive to call/texts - even over the July 4th holiday weekend!I highly recommend this property, or any from the Terra2 group, and we plan to book another property from them for a future gathering.

This stunning property deserves more than 10/10 rating! Our family of 14 all agreed that this was our best staycation ever. The pool was huge and sparkling clean, and the diving board took the fun to the next level. The grandkids and big kids were entertained for hours in the game/movie room. There were plenty of areas in the house to hang out all together and so many cozy spots to spend some quiet time. At the end of the day, everyone retreated to their clean and comfortable bedrooms. We will be back!
