Unfortunately, it was a lot more than three people attempting to shower at the same time. There were 12 guests staying at the house and it was clear that there was an expectation of endless hot water. This group also tried to operate so many kitchen appliances at once that they repeatedly tripped the circuit breaker on the stove. They also overused the ice maker in 95 degree heat and humidity and then complained it needed to be serviced. I left two bags of ice for them in the freezer prior to arrival as I knew it was a large group. Every day it seemed like it was a new issue. I should point out we have been hosting guests for years without one single complaint regarding lack of hot water, tripper circuit breakers or a malfunctioning ice machine. I’m not sure what to say about air conditioning…it’s clearly stated that we do not have central air. It was 95 degrees with 90% humidity during their stay. I’m sure other properties had challenges staying cool as well. It seems a motel would have been a much better choice for these guests.
