Spend your next weekend at this historic 1920s vacation home, complete with beautifully weathered shingle sliding, a cozy wood stove in the living room, and a spacious fenced-in backyard.

Cannon Beach limits us to only one rental every 14 days, so this house has limited check-in and checkout dates in the summer. We offer discounts for longer stays! You can use the online calendar to make a reservation or give us a call if you have any questions.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: Street parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis; parking is not guaranteed.




Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house was dirty, the sheets in the bed where not clean, white dog hair and cob webs, dirty front window, floors were sticky and cabinets needed a good wipe down.

Nice house close to ocean avenue and sand dunes

Large home right in the middle of it all- close to town and steps to beach. Beautiful to walk down ocean avenue any time of day. Glorious to sit in dunes and watch the sun set.

We had such a wonderful stay in this cottage! Very convenient and lots of space to spread out. 2 minute walk to the beach. Very comfortable beds upstairs. Wonderful, strong shower, w/lots of hot water. We'll be back!

The Mary Poppins of homes - practically perfect in every way!!!

The light in this home is sublime. The open concept lower floor was so lovely. Sleeping with the windows upstairs gave us an opportunity to hear the waves each night. The fenced yard is perfect for peace of mind with littles and pups alike. They provided a wagon to tow things down to the beach, some boogie boards, beach toys, a collection of wetsuits of varying sizes, and plenty of puzzles and books for any rainy day. Loved the location close to downtown and the beach! I can go on and on about this wonderful property - select it for your getaway - you won’t be disappointed!

So amazing!!

It was the most perfect little place exactly as described in the listing. It was fully stocked with everything you could think of, wet suits, rain jackets, all sorts of games, so the dishes you need, an abundance of towels, etc. The only partly bad thing was there was a lot of cobwebs all over but it wasn't enough to deter us.

A family's well loved beach home

This place has all the amenities, it is steps from the beach, an easy walk to downtown, and going the other way to Haystack Rock. The kitchen is the kind you can really cook in! But mostly, the house seems like it's been well loved by the owners for years, it is beautiful and idiosyncratic, it's not someone's fourth home or an investment property, it's a real family beach home. They have some good books, too. We love going here, found it initially because of our old dog being welcome. (Sadly, he passed away.) But we keep coming when we can.

Great house great location

This is one of our family of 4's favorite vacation rentals. The house is well stocked, clean, and has a homey feel that is comforting and relaxing. There have also been some updates since the last time we stayed here that made the trip even better. The new couch, flooring, and paint are all nice touches. And the new beds and mattresses are very comfortable and make this house a notch above. Of course, the location also can not be beat. You are walking distance to all of downtown Cannon Beach and just a stones throw from beach access. We hope to come back here many more times in the future.

Special

After opening the front door I knew I was relaxing with 3 special fellows in my life. The new floor and paint has updated this piece of heaven. Arriving upstairs we found the second bedroom to have 2 sets of bunkbeds and a new queen bed. O a few more guests can enjoy this historical cabin near haystack rock and many other attractions in the area. Can't wait to return in the future. Thanks for sharing your home

Poor communication, beautiful location

I’ll start with the bad & end with the good: 1. The property manager was 100% non responsive which meant we had to pack far more than we needed. 2. The check-in email lists the wrong address 3. The pack and play is disgusting. Don’t bother opening it—you’ll regret it! 4. The amenities could use an update—there’s no dishwasher and the microwave is very weak. 5. There were meager staples. No good oils, spices, sugar, flour etc—pack your own! Now the good! 1. The Location! It’s legit a minute walk to the beach and a gorgeous 30 minutes to Haystack Rock 2. It was clean! 3. There’s everything you need for beach play—chairs, boogie boards, a beach blanket, a kite, kids toys. 4. The wood fireplace was heavenly; they stocked it with wood too! 5. The downstairs bathroom was divine with the heater on. 6. There are plenty of kitchen gadgets—a ninja blender, pots and pans, utensils, eating dishes, Tupperware, Drip Coffeemaker, an electric griddle and even an outdoor propane grill that worked great! (I brought my Dutch oven to make Dutch babies :) Despite the complete lack of communication, it was the rustic beach-cabin-y getaway our family needed during COVID. Our dog loved it too.
