We had a great stay, the house easily accommodated our family with so many rooms and each having its own bathroom is a real plus. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need, and the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and linens, lots of space to hang out, and parking for 5 cars is a real plus! The property does need some maintenance and updating though and would benefit from new outdoor seating suctions as we do spend a lot of time there.

We had a wonderful week! The layout of the house was perfect for the 14 of us and we loved being right on the beachfront. There were 5 beach chairs for our use and some sand toys. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The view from the master bedroom was amazing. However, the home could use a good, deep cleaning!!! Also, the shower in the courtyard didn’t work, We only had a cold water hose to rinse off the sand from the beach. The outdoor shower should be repaired to make it easier for guests to comply with their request to remove all sand before getting into the showers inside the house. The front porch is a pleasant spot, but the cushions on the porch furniture are in drastic need of replacement. It made it difficult to enjoy the porch. The location is great, with restaurants and activities within walking distance. Check in and check out were seamless. The week was so good, but could be improved by the suggestions above, especially for the money we paid.

Location is amazing and size of the home incredible. Tons of space to spread out, plenty of parking and great bedroom layouts. The home is a bit dated and could definitely use some new cushions on the patio and a few upgrades, but overall great stay! Management company was extremely helpful, responsive, and amazing to work with.

Great location. Nearby bicycle rentals, restaurants and electric boat rentals. Surfing at Blackies beach just north of Newport pier 1.5 miles from home. Comfortable for our large group. The air conditioner worked for us (keep windows and doors closed when A/C is on.)

Fun at the beach

Enjoyed the property and location immensely. Was able to have all the family stay there. While the house was a bit dated, it was fun and quirky. Loved the vibe.

Very old property. Small kitchen. Bedding old. Dust in casita. However, we chose this property as it has a grassy field, beach and on the boardwalk! Quick response to need of cleaning, electrical outage, and communication was clear and helpful.

40th birthday party

Very happy with the accommodations. Right on the beach, easy To locate, off street parking, nice house with bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate 6-8 couples. Walking distance to the pier, shopping, eateries, bars. Definitely worth a look for your next vacation stay at the beach.

Can’t ask for a better location. Right on the beach with the park next door too for games etc. Pretty quiet as you’re down away from the shops. Parking was convenient other than garbage day. The house sleeps a lot of people however the kitchen is very small for the amount of people. The house is old and outdated. It could really use a deep clean especially on the main floor. A few minor updates would go a long way with bathrooms/fixtures etc. We had a son in a wheelchair and although we made it work it was very tricky and tight spaces. Hard to get him in and out and the main floor has lots of thresholds etc. I would not recommend for someone looking for accessibility. The patio is great to sit on and watch the sunset and people, just be prepared to clean things off. Overall our group of 16 had a great experience and loved the location. Wish it was a little cleaner and a few updates. Very responsive communication. The outdated house is reflected in the price for the size and location.

Family Friendly Beach House

The beach house is situated right across from the sand and within a short walk to the Balboa pier shopping area. There is a play area close by too for smaller children. Our group consisted of 20 family members ranging in ages from 4 months to 74 and we all had comfortable accommodations., and a nice plus was that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped, though small. The garage has barely six feet of clearance, so just small cars can fit . All in all, I would stay there again, it’s a lovely rental and well maintained.

Great family house!

This is probably one of the most well stocked and appointed vacation rentals I’ve stayed in. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook and feed a large family, the bathrooms all were stocked with soap and shampoo and plenty of toilet paper, the bedrooms are comfortable, plenty of extra pillows and blankets, there is a bathroom for every bedroom. And the back patio between the house, and the garage is a great spot to play spikes, and beach, chairs, and things you don’t want to leave on the front patio. There is parking for five vehicles, which is also unusual in this location, and it is far enough away from all the beach crowds, but still close to the Piers and the fun zone. We had a great day, and I would highly recommend it.
