Quiet Condo Retreat #62 Lake Forest Glen

This is a recently remodeled 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that sleeps 4 comfortably. The up-to-date kitchen, baths, living/dining area and bedrooms are warm and inviting. There are 2 HD flat screen TV's with Wifi access for your communication and entertainment needs. On-demand hot water system. This unit is in a quiet part of the complex. Enjoy the back deck to BBQ, entertain or relax in the lounge chairs provided. Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, Lake Forest Glen Condominiums are set in a lovely meadow between the highway and the lake. It is an easy walk to Skylandia Park Beach, Bristlecone Beach and many others on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This development features two pools, a sauna, hot tub (for year-round use), tennis courts, pickleball and a children's play area.(Amenities availability unknown for 2021). Each unit has two reserved parking spots. The complex is close to Tahoe City, ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Northstar and Homewood Mountain. The Coast Guard boat launch is just around the corner for our summer guests. Plus there is convenient access to great biking and walking trails, both on and off-road. In the winter, drive up the street to the Tahoe Cross Country XC Center. Easy short drive to Tahoe City with great restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

I have finally discovered a condo to rent for our frequent trips that uses the BEST cleaning crew. I have rented other properties, and often need to do a thorough cleaning prior to settling in. The space was perfect for our needs, with a main bedroom and two bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and convenient. We loved having the enclosed deck. However, the deck could use a refresh, with popped-up nails and many splinters.

Off Season Tahoe Trip

The accommodations were excellent! It was a perfect base camp for a week of hiking and fishing. Easy access to Truckee and anywhere around the lake. The whole process had no hassles. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with the host or the town home. The neighborhood was quiet the whole time we were there, except on the last night, when a loud group of neighbors moved in behind us.

Great location! Clean and comfortable. A bit noisy in the early morning (6:30 am) with the construction near by and the bed isnā€™t super comfortable. For a last minute stay and affordable, it was worth it. Location is great as itā€™s just outside the busy table city hustle and bustle you can bike to town or a quick 3 min drive.

Perfect condo near the lake!

Updated, light and bright unit with upgraded appliances. Plenty of towels. Close to pool/spa/sauna and a short walk to the beach. Quick drive or bike ride into Tahoe City! Would stay here again! Highly recommend!

Great spot and functional condo

Super clean, comfortable beds and functional layout. They had absolutely everything minus a pair of tongs! There was even an instapot handy...it was a comfortable stay and we played games, skied at Alpine Palisades (15 min drive) and played near the lake (5 min). Check in was a tad confusing as the email subject didnt stand out and it was late when we arrived. I finally found the check in details...otherwise great stay.

The area was great! The property was nice for what we needed but could use some updating. Had an issue with the second bedroom not having power on the first night but was quickly fixed the next day. Location was perfect! We would stay here again if in the area.

I would definitely like to work with O'Neal Assoc. again. The property was small but very nicely upgraded and furnished. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for overall experience was because the twin beds in the second bedroom were not comfortable for an adult size person. The only way those twin beds would work would be if the beds did not have a footboard so an adult could have stretched out.

This was the perfect place for our ski trip. Easy access to downtown and ski resorts. Condo was clean and included everything we needed. Property manager was easily accessible and responsive through VRBO app.

We liked that it's right near the lake. The backyard was perfect for making snow angels in. There's a Safeway near by, tons of skiing options around. Everything was what we hoped for.

Good spot for a getaway

Nice property in a great location. Short walk to the beach and thankfully there was a great coffee house also within walking distance since there was no coffee in the unit. My only complaint is that I could not find information on how to contact the property manager. It was very warm the day we arrived and I could not find any fans in the unit.
