The Space:
As you approach the property, you're greeted by spacious front porch inviting you to unwind with a morning cup of coffee or bask in the golden hues of the evening sunset.

Upon entering, you're welcomed into a light-filled foyer adorned with coastal-inspired decor, setting the tone for the entire residence. The open-concept living area boasts gleaming hardwood floors and plenty of large windows that flood the space with natural light. The plush sofa creates an inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.

Adjacent to the living area is the spacious kitchen featuring sleek granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including an oven and a spacious island with bar seating, this kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful. Whether you're preparing a seafood feast or enjoying casual meals with family and friends, this space is sure to inspire your inner chef.

Step through back doors and discover your own private oasis in the backyard. Here, screened in porch awaits, complete with a ceiling fan, heater and ample seating, offering the ideal setting for al fresco dining and entertaining. Beyond the porch, a spacious lawn dotted Adirondack chairs which encircle a gas fire pit area, perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars.

Retreat to the sleeping areas, where you'll find the luxurious main suite, a serene sanctuary designed for ultimate relaxation. Featuring a king-sized bed and a cozy sitting area. This tranquil haven is the epitome of coastal luxury. The attached ensuite bathroom boasts dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a separate glass-enclosed shower.

Three additional bedrooms offer comfortable accommodations for family and guests, each thoughtfully appointed with plush bedding, ample closet space, and charming coastal accents. A shared full bathroom with a tub/shower combo serves these bedrooms, while a convenient half bathroom is located on the main level for guests' use. The kids will love the additional plushies in the rooms with the bunk beds.

Guest Access:
Our home is contactless seamless and easy self check in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Don't hesitate to ask.

The Neighborhood:
Welcome to the lovely East Beach neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia. The Beach is just steps away in any direction! You may decide to take a nice walk on the beach, or ride your bike in this friendly and relaxed neighborhood. After your day at the Beach visit Cova Brewery and enjoy food trucks and a great outdoor space for drinks or coffee. East Beach is ideal to get away from the crowds of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and relax in the sun and sand.

Getting Around:
We recommend bringing a vehicle or utilizing ride shares.

Other Things to Note:
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:

1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.

2)Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests.

If you are booking a flat for over 30 days, you will be provided with the standard tenant package as required under Virginia law, and be required to acknowledge receipt of the same.

The terms of our Agreement will remain as agreed to on the booking platform, and anything implied under Virginia state law.

Please note that the building has ring cameras monitoring and recording the exterior and common areas of the building at all times. There are absolutely no cameras on or in the interior of any unit.

If you are traveling with a pet please inform your host prior to arrival. Our pet fee is $75 per pet, per week for up to 6 weeks. If you are traveling for longer than 6 weeks please inquire about the Long Term pet fee. Make sure to check the listing details to see if your property is pet friendly.

Our properties require Sojourn to collect the name and picture of government-issued photo ID for each guest. Sojourn, our guests and our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. This verification step keeps everyone safe and provides additional insurance on your stay. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.

For the comfort of our guests and team members, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted inside or within thirty (30) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke your card can be charged, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and your security deposit will be forfeited. Sojourn will contact the booking service, terminate your stay and post the appropriate review.

Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe, these devices can not record or decipher what you are saying they are only for monitoring noise. Noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation could be terminated without refund.

What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.
* Baby Wipes/Wet Wipes/Cleaning Pads
* Dental Floss
* Q-tips/Cotton Balls
* Diapers
* Pills
* Paper Towels/Tissues or excess toilet paper

Fireworks are illegal in Virginia. If you are found to be engaged in setting off fireworks we are required by the city to immediately terminate your stay. Also If you are found responsible for having started a wildfire or dune fire with fireworks, you may be liable for all suppression and reclamation costs or even face imprisonment and fines.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.

4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.

5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

6) We hope you enjoy the additional amenities in this home including: Outdoor stand up cooler, heater on the screened in porch, foam dart throwing, 2 beach chairs, cornhole & fire pit.

7) Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
