The family cottage has 3 bedrooms, one bath, family room, as well as a large deck for relaxing and enjoying the company of your travel companions ! The comfortable cottage is located on Orr's Island , which is a unique piece of the Harpswell community ~Located on the main road, it's a great home base for exploring the area, and close to Brunswick ~
The space
As you enter the Orr's Island Cottage, you walk through a little "work room" through the entrance into the kitchen. You then walk through to the dining area, which is open to the living room area~ the first bedroom has a day bed, the second presents 2 twin beds, and the last bedroom features a king size bed. You will have slight ocean views from the kitchen, master bedroom, as well as the large deck. You are super close to the ocean, and will love the salty smell of the air ! The full bathroom offers a stand up shower~ The cottage does now has 2 heat pump splits, which both provide heat and air conditioning. One is located in the Living Area, the other in the "master" bedroom, with the king size bed.

Harpswell is one of the most special little coastal fishing towns you will ever visit ! Breathtaking views just about everywhere you travel ! From the hiking trails, galleries, gift shops, restaurants, little beaches, kayaking, boating, to fresh lobsters around every corner, there is something for everyone to enjoy ! Come relax and unwind while enjoying our gem of a town!

This home in Harpswell is conveniently located 15 minutes from Brunswick, take the train from there and travel the Maine coast. Brunswick is also home to Bowdoin College, which offers the Maine State Music Theatre, with superb productions, and museums to enjoy ! Close to Portland, and Freeport, home of LL Bean’s, many outlet shops, and restaurants. Driving distance to Popham Beach…the most spectacular stretch of sandy beach in Maine, along with historical forts to explore.
