Ohio Country Cabin LLC is located in a secluded, peaceful wooded setting in the heart of Hocking Hills close to Oldman Cave.It combines the privacy and beauty of a woodland paradise with the comforts and amenities of home. This warm and inviting natural setting is perfect for romantic getaways or fun family vacations.

Our log cabin sleeps 4 and has everything you'll need to feel at home. Enjoy the serenity of bird watching, whitetail deer, other abundant wildlife and star gazing just by glancing out the window or walking out the cabin door! Country Cabin is just minutes from Lake Logan and only 9 miles from Old Man's Cave, with easy access to all the state parks, restaurants, shopping, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, canopy tours and many other outdoor activities. Country Cabin is privately owned and operated and the cabin has that extra touch to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.
For your safety we have 2 outside surveillance cameras installed. One on the right out side of cabin and second installed outside on the tree in front yard both facing driveways of the cabin.

We loved the location of the cabin. Had fun fishing, grilling, fire pit, playing corn hole. Host was very responsive and would definitely recommend.

I loved the ducks that always greeted us when we came in and out. I didn’t much care for all the poop they left right in the doorway. The bed was comfortable. It was clean. We couldn’t seem to control the temperature well. We were freezing most of the time. It served our purpose well enough.

The location to Hocking Hills was convenient. The cabin needs deeply cleaned and does not match the photos. The kitchen is small and difficult to prepare full meals in but using it for sandwiches and pre-made meals works best.

We had a nice stay at the cabin and really enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful setting. The pond and ducks were definitely our favorite part and added so much charm!The owner was friendly and extremely responsive to our messages, which we really appreciated.We did experience a storm-related power outage that lasted over 8 hours. While we understand this was completely beyond the owner's control, because of the remote location and extremely limited cell service, we had no Wi-Fi, AC, or ability to use the kitchenette during the outage. We would suggest considering a generator or other backup power source for future guests, especially given the cabin's remote location.Overall, we enjoyed our getaway and would love to see a few small improvements that could make the stay even better. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

The property was run down compared to the pictures posted. The refridgerator was set to its coldest setting and froze all our food. There were oder absorbers in large numbers throughout the property. Obvious signs of repairs that were done but not properly. Overall, the property felt very different than the pictures show. The ducks though!

Check-in was very easy and directions were clear to this private but not too secluded property. We were within 20 minutes of several park locations, restaurants, and grocery in the Hocking Hills area which makes it a prime location for exploring. The cabin was clean and welcoming and the beds were comfortable. We had an issue with electricity in the lower level, and the immediate response from the host was prompt and courteous. We were unlucky with weather and therefore had limited time on the property outside the cabin, but we did squeeze in a hike on the property's trail between storms and found it beautiful and very peaceful.

I really enjoyed my weekend at the cabin! It's a short drive to most of the major Hocking Hills hikes and the area itself is tucked away and felt very peaceful.

Secluded and Peaceful

Cabin is close to all the attraction such as Old Man cave, Ash Cave, Horse riding, Canoeing, Hiking. Cabin where you can do hiking in trail.
If you like quite place to relax or get away from busy city life or want to read books or enjoy the nature you will love staying at our cabin.
It is located at end of road way with private hiking area of 8 acres in the back.
