We had a great stay here. The unit was very clean, spacious and in a convenient location for walking to restaurants and shops. Pool and beach were great options for enjoying the sun. Also appreciated the amenities like beach towels, beach umbrella and washer/dryer within the apartment. We’ll be back for another stay here.

Host was awesome. They were quick to respond to questions. Location is great. Within walking distance to good restaurants and grocery store. Easy access to highway and other areas of San Juan. Right on the beach. Apartment is antiquated but has personal charm. Need larger bed and TV. Has basic amenities.

Property was easy to find, and felt very secure. Location was incredibly convenient, lots of walkable places to check out. The pool area was nice, there were trees that provided a good amount of shade if you wanted it, and someone from one of the shops close by wandered through to offer drinks and snacks. The rental itself was very clean and well maintained. They had beach chairs available to use if you wanted which was a nice plus! Would gladly stay here again!

The property was clean, as described and we appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella. Frances was responsive and friendly. We felt safe in the area. The resort is old and not being kept up. Kinda sad for such a beautiful beach location. We would stay here again.

The studio apartment had all the necessary things in place. The apartment was clean however, there was construction and repair work going on for two nights which we could not sleep well for. The aparmtnet is right next to beach and has its swimming pool. Overall it was amazing experience and host had provided all the instructions which one needed to access all the necessary things in and around apartment.

I loved the place! Everything you need to cook and a washer/dryer is a huge plus! Pool gym and parking if you have a car which I did not need because the Supermax is two blocks away! The bus to Old San Juan is 75 cents and a Uber from the Airport is much cheaper than a taxi! Will be back next year! Maybe a month if they have availability.

Fantastic spacious studio in a great neighborhood

The studio and hosts were great!Strongly recommend as you’ll be staying in a great condo building with great security. Parking space is a must and give you the opportunity to commute easily in San Juan and neighborhoods. First airb&b i’ll look for my next visit in San Juan.

On the beach

We loved having close access to the beach. The place was clean and had exactly what we needed. We rented a car and we were glad to have parking available.

Awesome Location w Amenities, but Lacks Personal Space

We had a great stay at the location. The owners respond very quickly and will solve any problems or questions you have. Water pressure is awesome and shower gets hot and stays. Smaller kitchen area especially when cleaning dishes.

Very nice cozy place for two.

The pool is great! There is easy access to the beach. Francis and Jose are very responsive and fixed a small problem we had in the apartment as soon as we let them know about it. We had a great time there and would go again. There is a market nearby and plenty of restaurants. We didn't rent a car on this trip, so we ubered to a few places, including Old San Juan, and the fees were very reasonable and the Ubers arrive quickly. The apartment itself is clean and modern.

Review

We intended to use the buildings amenities such as the beach access, the gym, and the pool. The beach had lots of trash washed up, graffiti on the surrounding walls, and a warning sign that the water could be contaminated from sewage? Pool chairs were unkempt and there was construction all around the pool area and backside of the building. The gym was very small and crowded at time but useable. The building was gated from the main road and had two security guards. Parking was out front and easy to locate. The unit was as advertised. Some minor flaws included lack of outlets near the bed and none in the bathroom. It was fully equipped with all you could need kitchen-wise. It was clean, bright, and spacious. Part of the draw in booking this place was the in-unit washer and dryer. We were disappointed to find out it was broken upon arrival. We packed for the trip anticipating we’d be able to wash our clothes. The host sent a long introductory message which could have easily included letting us know the washer and dryer was broken, and/or included that information in the VRBO description, to make people aware before booking. The in-unit booklet did mention the apartments laundry room which required us to then, buy detergent, locate an ATM to get out cash, then have to break the cash into smaller bills, to get tokens to operate the washer/dryer. It cost 5 for one wash and dry. The dryer didn’t fully dry our clothes in one cycle. Not the end of the world, but a hassle nonethel

Thank you for your feedback. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share both the positives and the challenges during your stay. Regarding the washer and dryer, I want to clarify that it was not reported as broken prior to your arrival. The previous guests were able to use it without any issues, so I was not aware that there was a malfunction. Had I known, I would have informed you ahead of time or arranged for a technician promptly. I completely understand how frustrating it must have been, especially if you were counting on it for your trip. As for the building’s shared amenities like the beach and pool area, I’m very sorry for the state you encountered. Unfortunately, those areas are managed by the condominium administration, and conditions such as beach cleanliness or delays in renovation are outside of my direct control. I’ve already reported the issues to the administration. I'm grateful you found the unit comfortable, clean, and well-equipped overall. Please know I’m always available during the stay to help resolve any issues, and I would’ve gladly assisted with any concerns in real time.

Frances was most responsive. I neglected to print out the directions for locking the door and after several efforts to explain by phone she came over to show me. The place was spotless and is in a great location with both beach and pool right there.
