Great memories @ Lake

Comfortable, well stocked, quiet camp. Accessible to Lake, great for kayaking. The front lawn had room for bocce & cornhole! Would rent this camp again!

Family gatherings

We are originally from N.Y so very familiar with Sylvan Beach. Our families rented 3 camps on the lake. Our cottage was wonderful 4 bedroom and fit our 8 adults perfectly. Spacious interior and exterior. The dock leads you right into the water and surprisingly the water was very warm for mid June. Watch the sunsets from the yard which has plenty of outdoor seating. Thanks for a wonderful family trip.

Family Vacation

Very nice. Wish we had better weather as we were not able to do much so wish we had more time to make up for the weather and enjoy a family vacation.

Most wonderful week!

We absolutely Loved the camp! So relaxing. Camp is located right on the water. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Home had everything we needed and more. Great family camp. Hosts were amazing answering any questions we had. We definitely will return!

Excellent Lake House

Sabina and David were great to work with. The house was very comfortable and in a great location. The yard was a great size and the swimming area was perfect, no seaweed. The location was perfect and the boat launch is right up the road. I’ll definitely stay here again and recommend it!! We had such a great time.

Wonderful View!

This is a home with comfortable beds. The neighbors were really nice. The view is gorgeous and the sound of the waves hitting the shore is calming. Due to a bad storm, we lost power for about 24 hours. But we purchased some lanterns and stayed. The Wi-Fi worked fine until the power outage. There is a air conditioner in each bedroom and in the main living area. Owner and staff were responsive and helpful. The well stocked kitchen had the pots and pans, plates etc needed. The extra refrigerator helped keep our drinks cold. The beautiful bathroom had plenty of towels. The washer and dryer worked well. There are outdoor and indoor eating areas. The teenagers went swimming in the lake. It is pretty shallow for quite a few yards out. There were lots of ducks and geese that came to shore to visit. There is a Dollar General about 2 minutes away and a Walmart about 20 minutes away to buy food etc. The casino in town is small and people were friendly. The kids loved the amusement park. There is an adult type arcade at the amusement park but I think it's only open on weekends. The rides are only open Thurs-Sun. Note: It will cost you to park in town $12 a day. Lower cost for less time. The town has several restaurants including a pancake house.

Relaxing

Great view of the lake. Quiet, close to activities. We really enjoyed our time there. Made wonderful family memories.

Relaxing Vacation

My family of 6 had a fantastic time here. The Grounds are very nice. Everything was clean and that bathroom is Beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and people are nice. We loved the entertainment that the geese and ducks gave us was relaxing. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lake home.

A fun getaway!

We had a great time at the Grounds lake house. The house had everything we needed plus more, with the added bonus of a beautifully renovated bathroom. The extra refrigerator out on the porch was very beneficial. The yard was big enough for everyone to spread out and we enjoyed many games of corn hole! The back deck was a great place to enjoy meals while overlooking the lake. The bedrooms were quite small but had everything we needed. The owners were available for any questions we had. The proximity to Sylvan Beach was also super convenient. Oneida Lake never disappoints!

Wonderful place for a Family

We all had such a great time! The lake house felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed during our vacation was available. It was a very short drive to Sylvan Beach. The adults and kids will all have great memories! Thank you!

Family vacation

We had such a great time staying here. The cottage was perfect!!! It sleeps 10, fully furnished, and equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need, and more!!! It was me, my six kids that ranged from 11-22 yrs old, and a couple of their friends. The lake is right out the back door, which made for great mornings sitting on the back deck enjoying the view. Evening sunsets were beautiful as well. Located close enough to all of Sylvan Beaches activities, restaurants and shops...but far enough away to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend a stay here!!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you for everything :)

Excellent family vacation

Thank you David and Sabina. A perfect s pot right on the water with beautiful sunsets. Your house was great. My kids and our family felt the house was very clean and had all the amenities. Even better than Anticipated

We hadn't been to the Oneida Lake area in over 20 years and it was great to be back! This property was everything we had been looking for and even better than described in the listing. We completely enjoyed our stay here. The deck and the large backyard offered opportunities for relaxing and playing outdoor games with the family. The shoreline was shallow and sandy making it perfect for enjoying the water. There was a boat launch nearby so that we were able to use our boat for fishing (husband loved this part)and evening sunset cruises. We loved being able to travel to the nearby town of Sylvan Beach for some dining out options and evening ice cream. The owners were very thoughtful and responsive to any questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing vacation stay and we hope to return in the future!
