A Family Friendly Fantastic villa for your Gulf Shore Vacation! B3513B

Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Be sure to catch a Pirate Show with the resort’s own Red Beard the Pirate.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Great family vacation!

If you want to get away, this is the place.

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I wanted a place to just relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life and that is exactly what we got.Our apartment was clean and close to the pool with an excellent view of the ocean beyond. We decided to rent the golf cart and what a difference that made. I would strongly recommend renting the golf cart to get around and explore.Other than pool and beach there is not much to do and leaving the island is an option but just make sure you get back before the fairy makes its last trip.

I know most people don't cook but we did make breakfast and one dinner and we just had to make due. Also the Grills outside would not get hot enough to grill a steak so we just finished it in the oven. Overall the unit was nicely furnished and very comfortable.

Reviewer Comments: This is our 20th year coming to PI and I cannot tell you how many times in one year we have come.It's our Paradise!Best beach ever and the resort staff are beyond friendly and helpful.Excellent Island to get away from a big city.Enjoyed Hurricane's at the Rum Bay and a must is the Key Lime pie at Publix! Water Taxi to Johnny Liverrocks is our favourite!!Villas are always immaculate and beautifully appointed. We have NEVER had a Villa that was not beautiful!!No lack of shells on the beach.This is not a vacay if you want crowds of people. The beach is yours and the sunsets to die for!PI See you soon!:)

Also,Jamie at Coconuts was very friendly, professional and provided us great service. Same for Dustin at Rum Bay. Only negative was the ferry service. A double ended ferry with one way driving straight forward and off with tug working along side would speed the process. Sunday service very slow.

A quiet retreat

Renting a golf cart made every day fun and we were able to explore the entire island. We brought our bicycles, which also made exploring the island fun. My husband and I enjoyed water aerobics and shelling on the beach. Sunsets were beautiful. The pool was absolutely beautiful and clean. The water was the perfect temperature, and I could stay in the water for hours. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Finally made it there!

Check-in is easy. The grounds are clean. Our condo was clean. The hiccups we came across were - the tv in the main room...had to call maintenance to show us how to use it. The tv is the master was much easier to as it was cable verses internet tv. The closet door in the master and utility room had pull knobs that were stripped and at times frustrating. The washer and dryer was incredibly loud.The restaurant was clean and food was delicious. We love the ice cream! And rented bikes and a Golf Cart, which was easy to use and if you want to explore the island you need to do this.

Pandemic Relief - So glad we went!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Palm Island before but it has been a few years. So when trying to decide if and where we would feel comfortable going for a long weekend during the COVID-19 pandemic, Palm Island was at the top of the list. We had much apprehension, but called and spoke to the folks at Palm Island to learn about their cleaning and turnover protocol. We felt confident that they were doing what they could to properly disinfect. We also brought our own cleaning supplies just so we had that additional piece of mind. The views are fantastic, the villa was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The beach was very secluded and the pool was not crowded at all. The other guests and staff were extremely courteous and respective of social distancing. We are hoping to make another visit in the coming months. Highly recommend.

The perfect GETAWAY from it all!

With the pandemic and needing to social distance, this was the perfect place to stay within our family bubble and relax and have some fun! We brought 95% of our own food with us. We also ordered Some delicious food from Rum Bay Restaurant, which is located right on the island. The beaches are absolutely pristine and beautiful! We all enjoyed golf cart rides looking for wild life,swimming in the sea as well has the resorts pools, fishing, shelling, walking and sunsets! Of course, we cannot forget to mention Pirate Red Beard! His stories are legendary! Thank you Palm Island Resort for a much needed awesome week for my family!
