Located in the historic south shore of Massachusetts, Marshfield and many surrounding towns were founded in the 1600s and full of rich history. Less than 15 min drive to Historic Plymouth to see the Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, and museums. 45 minute drive to Cape Cod and the Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket ferry terminal for day trips and close to Rt 3 to explore other charming classic New England towns nearby like Duxbury, Scituate, Hull, Cohasset and of course Boston.
When many of the other nearby beaches are closed for half the summer because of Plovers nesting, Burke's is large, sandy, and always open! Fantastic location close to everything and convenient to the highway if you want to explore. We have been living in the area for 15 years and love the south shore! This is our first renting experience as a host and we look forward to you experiencing the area at our beautiful home! Since we are local we can make many recommendations of places to eat, things to see and do, and some can't miss activities.
We also have 3 young children so are able to assist with things like a pack and play or books/toys upon request if traveling with younger kids.

So many bars, restaurants and amenities and multiple beaches in very close proximity make this a unique place. The south shore is very residential so to be close to the nightlife, dining, and the beach is very rare for the area. The proximity to 2 highway exits to go towards the Cape or Boston [7 min drive to get to highway] make day tripping very easy and convenient as well.

We just finished an extensive renovation in March 2024 so everything is new and fresh; the kitchen was completely remodeled with new cabinets, fixtures, and appliances as well as the upstairs bath and vanity. The tile, toilet and sink were redone in the downstairs full bath, new carpeting, floors, paint, and decking along with new furniture throughout the house.
The location and proximity to Burke's beach especially in the busy summer season is a real treat - it's a 5 minute walk straight down Beach St and you're there!
