We had a lovely time at this property! The amenities were great both in the house and outside recreation options. This is the perfect spot to relax with beautiful views and direct access to the pond. I highly recommend staying here!

It was just as described. We traveled with our two 18 year old grandchildren and they loved the lake and kayaking. Very comfortable beds, washer and dryer was very convenient to master bedroom with hangers to hang good clothes up. We enjoyed our stay very much first time to Maine.

What a beautiful, quiet place to escape to! We were 5 adults, including 4 seniors, some elderly and mobility-challenged, and found this place wonderfully clean, completely and thoughtfully supplied with everything. The kitchen had everything you could ask for, there were spaces for all needs, lots of room, a perfect and welcoming place to bring a very happy dog. The lake is pristine, there are kayaks, paddles, life vests, a fire pit (yes, we made s'mores) ---everything as described, and much more. There were deer, hummingbirds (bring feeders--we did!), loons, osprey, other ducks and songbirds and hardly any mosquitoes! the hot water was hot, the beds were comfortable, the spacious outdoors was very private. And the hosts were really instantly responsive! Thank you from all of us for a precious two-week getaway, it was great.

Lovely quiet getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our family vacation. It was a peaceful getaway with my husband, our kids, and my parents. My kids woke up to go fishing every morning. They loved kayaking. It was clean. We explored locally and also went into Acadia which was about an hour drive. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway!

Great waterfront snd quiet location, but house needs some TLC and upgrades. Plus, there are some inaccuracies on the listing. For example, the bed in the main bedroom upstairs is NOT a king. It's a queen. There are 3 kayaks but not a tandem. It's missing a seat and there are only two kayak paddles. The two single beds in the bedroom downstairs have very squeaky box springs that make for a very restless night of sleep. With some improvements, it would warrant the previously noted excellent ratings.

I’m glad you enjoyed the waterfront setting and quiet location, and I really appreciate you taking the time to point out the inaccuracies in the listing. I’m not sure how I managed to mix up the tandem kayak and bed sizes, but I’ve made the corrections you noted so the listing is accurate going forward. I also appreciate the feedback about the missing kayak seat and paddle, as well as the squeaky box springs downstairs. Those are helpful things for us to address as we continue making improvements to the house. Thank you again for the constructive feedback. This is the most amazing place! It is 30 minutes from everything we needed, gorgeous water views with plenty of places to sit and enjoy, every amenity you could imagine, clean and maintained, quickly responded and best of all the beds were comfortable! Seriously, amazing place hope to return next year!

The house is cozy, homey, and in a great location. Loved the pond and kayaks! While a drive to Acadia, what a great house to come home to after a day of hiking!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was as-pictured, well-stocked & conveniently located. There was a plumbing issue in the downstairs bathroom & a few things that needed fixing, but the property management was very responsive.

Relaxing location

Clean, comfortable and well cared for location. Quiet lake with minimal activity making for peaceful days both on the lake and on property. Far enough away that you feel secluded but close enough to town that trips to grab groceries or shop are easy. Exceeded expectations.

Williams Pond

Great

We had some issues upon check-in with the propane. They got it all sorted very quickly and were kind about the whole situation. The view is spectacular and area is peaceful. My kids were in awe of the amount of fish they caught right off the dock. The house is very well stocked with all you’d possibly need. We would stay there again!

Beautiful Getaway Home

The space is allocated efficiently and were very comfortable for our 5-night stay. The best feature of course was being right on the water - beautiful sunsets and afternoon swims. Great find.

Stress Free Maine Vacation On The Lake

My wife, son, mother-in-law, aunt, and I spent four nights here and we are already are discussing going back. The stress of city living melted away as we approached the home surrounded by tall trees and a beautiful lake shore. We spent most of our time outside, enjoyed swimming, kayaking, lunch on the picnic tables and evenings by the fire. Fellas, bring your rod and reel, there are fish in the lake! The inside was quaint and cozy. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of space for eating and relaxing. The master bedroom is beautiful!! If multiple couples are going, you’ll be fighting over it. We can’t wait to come back. If you’re wanting to get away and unwind in Maine’s great outdoors, this should be on the top of your list!

We LOVED our stay in this home. Extremely clean, nice furnishings and everything you need to enjoy the lake: kayaks, floaties, noodles, life jackets. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor. It was perfect for us and our adult children. The property is beautiful and quiet. More than enough towels and a well stocked kitchen. The only negative we had was when we had to contact the property manager- the electronic door had dead batteries so we could not lock it went we left. After much texting back and forth, they made it clear that we would have to remedy the situation, so we had to go buy batteries. Pretty disappointing since we had plans.

And I am sorry about the batteries -- we generally have them stocked in the house, but sometimes folks use them for their gadgets. I would be happy to replace, but I live in Portland - over a 2 hour drive. By the time I got there, you would have been able to replace. We did reimburse you for the trouble. At any rate, the house seemed to be just perfect for you and your family. That is the main thing! Thank you again!

Peaceful Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view we had on Williams Pond. Every night we had drinks on the dock enjoying the sunset. Amazingly we did not get attacked by mosquitos at dusk. Our first morning we walked down the stairs to find a deer staring at us outside the kitchen window enjoying her breakfast. That made our day. The house is beautiful and well stocked with essentials for everyday living. They supplied basic items like coffee, tea, creamers, sugar and spices so you don't have to buy everything. I wish we could have stayed longer and used the canoe, but we visited Acadia and Bar Harbor and could have used an extra day to just hang out on the pond. The only issue we saw,, which wasn't a problem because we didn't need the use of a tub was the downstairs shower/tub finish was peeling off and needs serious repair.
