Vibrant and colorful ocean side villa with pool, AC and much more!

Casa de Colores is exactly that! Filled with vibrant colors throughout the house. Located on the north end of Half Moon it’s an easy walk to Yal Ku Lagoon and Half Moon Bay. This house features four bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms plus there is a half bath in the common area. All of the bedrooms are furnished with king beds except for the Orange room which features a double futon and queen bed. The connected casita has a separate kitchenette and a small sitting area in addition to the sleeping area. There is a king bed in the casita.

The well equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking or not! Enjoy sharing meals in the dining area but feel free to dine al fresco on the patio! Take a refreshing dip in the private pool or just relax under the palapa shade. Casa de Colores is located on a rocky beach, but superb snorkeling is just a short walk away at Half Moon Bay or Yal Ku Lagoon! Take the collectivo, or a bicycle to downtown Akumal, it’s inexpensive and fun! With wireless internet and SMART TV, you feel right at home!

An ocean view from almost any room in Casa de Colores is exceptional. Catch the ocean breeze while enjoying a siesta in the hammocks on the roof. This colorful villa is perfect for family reunions, a wedding party, or just a large group.

Lovely private vacation home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful week with our 4 kids and their partners, great views and perfect temps! Lovely breeze and the wave sounds at night were delightful - missing it so much!! I would reccomend this place to any family!

WONDERFUL PLACE!! Casa de colores was ideal for our group of eleven. Loved the house with bathrooms in each bedroom. The pool was perfect. The caretakers came daily to take care of the house and were amazing. The town of Akumal is super cute with great restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend the Chef Service and renting golf carts. We will be back.

Amazing location and house!

Loved our stay. It had everything, great location and wonderful views.

I would highly recommend this place. Not a thing we could have wanted more and the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed watching the stars at night on the rooftop while swinging in the hamaca and a nice Tequila. Very relaxing.

Awesome Trip

The house was incredible, the caretakers made sure we were comfortable, the location was awesome - the perfect vacation home. We loved the furnishings, the ac in all the rooms, the spacious kitchen and living area, the pool, the lanai overlooking the beach and sharing a big cup of coffee. It was incredibly relaxing and the guides provided by the owners gave us everything we needed to plan our stay.

What a relaxing week in an exquisite villa, right out of the pages of "Architectural Digest". Every detail, from the gorgeous tiled pool to the sparkling modern design, is perfection! Gorgeous views and an ideal location in the sleepy town of Akumal!

Come here and enjoy....the staff is amazing, the town is charming and there is LOTS to do IF you want but hanging out at pool are snorkeling just outside your backdoor is great too!!!

Absolutely perfect

We stayed at Casa de Colores as a group of nine, age range from teens to seniors. The house and grounds are beautiful, and the information from Shelly is super helpful to plan your stay. Everyone had their own space and there was so much to do in the surrounding area, or just to stay at the house and relax!

I loved this view! I wish it wasn’t so rocky but definitely beautiful to look at. House was just as described with plenty of space. Definitely one I would rent again!

Casa de Colores is an exquisite gem in a spectacular setting. I can't imagine a more perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. I recommend a stay here without a moment of hesitation (and I'm an experienced and very picky traveler)!

Perfect family getaway

Everything is perfect here. The house is spectacular, the view of the ocean wonderful, you are well taken care of. Everyone has something to do if they want and how nice to have bathrooms with every bedroom. Location is wonderful, you can walk to the beach and the town if you wish. Best place I have rented with Homeaway/VRBO. Hope to go back.

It was amazing!!!

Casa de colores was perfect for our group. The pool is perfect, all the rooms are equally great and the caretakers were fabulous. The kids loved it. Akumal is super cute. I would highly recommend renting a golf cart. We loved the lagoon. I would stay there again!

Wonderful stay all around

The location is perfect, right next to the Yal-Ku Lagoon, close to a few fantastic restaurants, but far enough away that you get some peace and quiet as well. The house was lovely, and provided the perfect home base for the family. The host and team accommodated us last second, and we're so happy that it worked out. Could not make enough positive comments about the entire team and experience at Casa de Colores.

Casa de Colores was wonderful. Designed to maximize the views, spacious accommodations with total privacy. A very good husband and wife staff; super helpful owners.. Terrific oceanfront location near Yal-Ku lagoon in Akumal. Our combined families of 9 all loved this house! PS Lobster tail special dinner on Friday nights at La Lunita.

wonderful vacation

We were so very happy with this property! Very clean and beautiful. All beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, nice grill to use. We had plenty of beach towels, however it would have been nice to have more than one bath towel per guest to use. Having yal ku lagoon so close to snorkel in was enjoyable. We hope to be back again soon!

Great House

The house is just as it is listed. The sound of the ocean was phenomenal. The staff was very helpful and tentative. Shelly always responded immediately and provided alot of helpful information for our vacation. We had a great time. Thank you for providing a beautiful home for our vacation.

The perfect getaway!

Our small party of five (two adults, three kids aged 8, 6 and 4) totally enjoyed our stay at Casa de Colores! Every detail was perfect - the rooms so comfortable, more than enough space to spread out (even for a much larger party), wonderful views, the staff were lovely, the house was well stocked and Akumal, especially the quiet north end of the road, is a gem. We hated to head home!
