Absolute Beachfront - 3 Bedroom Condominium at Del Sol

Treat yourself to a spacious and comfortable stay in one of our 3-bedroom beachfront condos on Half Moon Bay, offering breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the sand and sea.

These expansive 1,800 sq ft units feature an open-plan living and dining area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee/tea maker, and all the cookware and dishware you’ll need for a relaxed stay. The primary bedroom includes a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with both a jacuzzi tub and shower. Two additional bedrooms—one with a king bed and one with a twin (single) bed and double (matrimonio) bed—each have their own attached bathrooms with showers.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout ensure comfort, while amenities like free Wi-Fi, a TV with streaming capability, a secure safe, and daily maid service add convenience. Linens and towels are provided, with beach towels available upon request. In addition to a private beachfront patio or balcony, each upper floor condo also includes a smaller jungle-facing balcony—perfect for enjoying sunset views and the tropical surroundings.

Guests also have access to a shared pool just a short walk away, free parking, beach loungers, and an outdoor shower. Bikes, snorkels, kayaks, and more are available for rent on-site.

Peaceful

The place was peaceful and relaxing. Neighborhood was perfect for my family. The restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of food.

Nice bldg but sub-optimal beach

Condo very nice - Great beds and kitchen facilities. 1-2 days worth of coffee would be nice - Had plenty of fresh water available. Condo complex pool on the small-ish side. Major issue is lack of swimmable beach - Have to walk 1/4 mile north for easier access. Also, sargassum seaweed is really bad again - on entire Maya Riviera. If not into ocean swimming, condo otherwise has gorgeous views and nice breezes.

Great location, minimalist accommodation

We love Half Moon Bay and have stayed at another condo but we needed 3 bedrooms and there are few buildings to choose from so we decided to try Del Sol. The staff is very responsive and we had to contact them several times to get water and towels and replace the broken coffee maker, which they did quickly. Maid service is currently every 3 days, not daily as indicated in the listing. There are no beach towels, toys, games, mixing bowls, measuring utensils. We struggled to make breakfast and ended up eating out most of the time due to the minimal amount of cookware. The beds are incredibly hard and the couches are also uncomfortable. The plastic chairs on the balcony are cheap and basic. It felt like the owners are just doing the bare minimum for guests, which is disappointing compared to most VRBOs we have been to. Adding some personal and comfort touches would go a long way in making this a better stay.

Everything is fantastic except the furniture

We stay in Akumal almost every year and thought we would give DelSol a shot, We love the colorful building. everything was perfect as expected except for the fact that there is not a comfortable place to sit anywhere in the condo. tha padding on the concrete bench sofas is way too thin. the deck only has cheap plastic chairs for four and a couple hammocks that can't be used at the same time as the table and chairs. AN upgrade to the sofa cushions would go a long way towards seeing us return.

Short Vacation with family and friends

I thought the place was great for the price. Very clean, slept two families, 4 adults and 3 kids. Worked great for us. Maids were there everyday to clean and make beds. Juan let us check in early and since the other 3 bedrooms units were not being rented we got to stay on the 4th floor instead of 3rd floor. lots of privacy with no one else really staying here during this time. Awesome views! Great staff and very friendly. Would stay here again! Only drawback to our vacation was the amount of seaweed. But that didn't deter us from snorkeling. They had some staff that would make a pathway into the water which was nice, but not totally necessary.

We absolutely loved it!

Our stay was perfect! We enjoyed the weather, beaches, delicious food, parks, Mayan ruins , snorkeling, delicious food and all what Rivera maya offers to its visitants. The apartment was amazing!

Great place

Spacious 3 bedroom unit and close to many activities. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed the snorkeling right off the beach.

Great location, just a three minute walk to the best beach bar/restaurant-La Buena Vida.

Great location, clean ,comfortable and roomy apartments. The staff at the reception desk go out of their way to make sure you're having a great time- very helpful.

Relax on the beach

This condo was great. We had plenty of room and the view is beautiful. The daily cleaning service was excellent and much appreciated. The restaurants in Akumal are fantastic. We do wish we had a pool that was not within the restaurant, but all in all our trip was fabulous. We rented bikes a couple of days just for fun and ease of getting to a few dinners a bit further away from condo. The two mini markets at the foot of our condo were cash only but very inexpensive for basic shopping needs. Everyone in Akumal was super friendly. The hammocks on deck were great too. Normally would say 5 star but we were bummed about the pool in the restaurant full of kids and people eating nearby. The condo itself and people are 5 star for sure.

Del Sol Condos

Overall, this 3 bedroom condo was very well maintained and a perfect size for our family of four. It was on the beach and the view was stunning as promised. Staff was very nice and always helpful. Be aware of the rocks that you have to navigate when going into the ocean. You will definitely have to have swim shoes for this!! The pool for the condos is a good five minute walk from the condo and located right next to the restaurant. If the pool makes a big difference to you, you might be a little disappointed. Very small with a couple of plastic chairs to sit on. We weren't looking for a nice pool so we were not really affected. It would be nice if it were a bit closer to the condo when you would like to take a quick dip or a lap or two. The restaurant has very good food with very good service. We enjoyed our stay at Del Sol Condos.

Great Location

We stayed four nights, a long girls weekend and were treated so nice by everyone. I would go back anytime! It was all it said it would be. Clean, right on the beach we could snorkel from the beach that is steps away. The area is off the beaten path which was just right for us. Great restaurants nearby, beautiful beach and scenery. Highly recommend this place since they treat you so nice.

Awesome 3 Bedroom Condo at Akumal Del Sol

Loved out stay in this 3 BR/3 Bath Condo. Clean, well-maintained with great service from friendly staff. Spectacular views of Half Moon Bay and beach from comfortable balcony with two hammocks. Great snorkeling. You will enjoy lunch and dinner at La Buena Vida Restaurant. Don't miss this!

Great stay!

My husband and I traveled with our 3 teenage kids and another couple. Our accommodations were perfect! Right on a quiet beach, walking distance to a delightful restaurant, Akumal village just a bike ride away.

Fun and Excitement for While Family

We read reviews of this place on TA and decided to make the trip. It's about an hour from the Cancun airport but a straight shot. It is beautiful when you drive all the way in to half moon bay. Passing the dive shops and a few stores and restaurants. Our place was situated in the middle of half moon bay and has a great view of the ocean We had the 3 bdrm which was very spacious for our 3 kids and the grandparents. Each room had its own bathroom, so everyone had their own space. House was fully equipped with all the needs and they kept a 5 gallon jug of purified water refreshed every day. Great breeze 24-7. Maid showed up each day at about 10 and was spectacular. Front desk would help with any needs. They were just a few steps away. There are a few Del Sol properties, and we were situated between two very small convenience stores - making them very convenient. Believe it or not, they really had every single thing you could need, and even though the prices were a little higher than the larger store (about 10 min away) they were still lower than anything we would pay in the States. Plus they are fully stocked with liquor beer and wine. Beach was fantastic. We are exactly in the middle of the bay, and while it is a little rocky as you get in, it is probably the best spot in Half Moon Bay for enjoying the beach, which is literally right out the door. The pool is part of La Buena restaurant - and probably a 5 minute hike up the beach. really easy tho and they are great over there. Kids spent most of the night with headlamps chasing Sand Crabs and hermit crabs. Of course, we were there in the start of the turtle egg season, so we had a few people remind us to switch to red light. The night before we left was the first turtle sighting and it seems like they really do like to lay their eggs on that beach. Location is perfect - plenty to do in Akumal - swim with the turtles, go to Yal-Ku - and everything else I mentioned. The rest is just a short car ride away. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great family escape and not trapped in some major resort! Stayed July 2016, traveled with family including grandparents and 3 kids, 2 boys 8, 7, and my 4 year old daughter

We loved it!

We loved our stay in Akumal & at Del Sol. Akumal was exactly what our family (2 kids 11 & 13 years) was looking for, not too touristy but with a gorgeous beach and easy access to fabulous activities. The snorkelling with sea turtles was a highlight, as were the parks, cenotes, zipling, Mayan ruins, etc etc. Our 3-brm apt at Del Sol was gorgeous, spacious, comfortable, clean & with great views. Akumal is a looooong way from home in New Zealand, but we would love to return one day.. Gracias.

Great place.

We had a great time at Casa Del Sol. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom units. There was plenty of room. The rooms were comfortable, if a little dated. We had a problem with the Ac in the smallest bedroom and it was fixed immediately. The staff is great, very attentive and friendly. We will definitely return.

Our stay in Del Sol was more than we anticipated. The accomodations and comfort was wonderful with the amazing view of the beach and ocean below. A vision!!! The staff went well above and beyond making our stay comfortable and welcoming. We will be back for sure. This is our second stay in your complex and each time, it is amazing. We especially liked having the bikes to rent and turning our grandkids loose to explore and mingle with the charm of the Akumal village. Highest marks to the young men (Miguel ?) at the desk. So engaging and suggesting of wonderful adventures to explore with our family. He was wonderful. What an asset!!! See you next year we hope

Great Views and Great Location

The condo was excellent with great views of the beach and sun rises. It was very clean with comfortable beds. Also, it was located near several excellent restaurants, Akumal Bay with its sea turtles, and Yal Ku Lagoon with easy snorkeling for the family.
