While aesthetically pleasing, this property failed to meet the specifications outlined in the listing and the terms of the rental agreement.Communication & Check-InThe check-in process was inefficient and poorly managed. The host failed to provide entry instructions proactively and subsequently provided incorrect information. It required three separate points of contact before the property could be accessed. Property Condition & AccuracyThe property’s actual condition deviates significantly from its advertised "premium" status:Accommodations: The advertised "King" bed consisted of two twin mattresses pushed together.Maintenance: Several drawers lacked hardware, and the shower floor was stained.Exterior: A non-functional go-cart remained in the driveway for the duration of the stay.Furnishings: Beyond the kitchen, the home is outfitted with basic rental-grade furniture.Amenities & Contractual ObligationsThe hot tub—a primary feature of the listing—was non-functional for the entire week. While the host requires guests to purchase specialized insurance to protect the property's "value," they failed to deliver the amenities guaranteed in their own contract.Dispute ResolutionThe host’s attempt at resolution was inadequate. The offered compensation was less than the cost of a single night's stay.
