Welcome to Pau Hana Kauai, a luxury first floor condo located in Kapa’a at one of Kauai’s top vacation spots, Waipouli Beach Resort. With 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in almost 1200 square feet of living space, plus 3 private lanais, you'll find plenty of space for your group to get comfortable. Despite the proximity to the parking lot, this unit on the end of the drive has very little traffic by car or by foot, making the lanais a peacefully quiet place to relax.
The King master has a private en suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub, and spacious double vanity (no shower). The second bedroom provides 2 queen beds and an en suite bathroom with tub, shower and double vanity. A 4th bed in the pull-out couch and third full bathroom with shower, gives your group options for a more comfortable stay. Each room, including the living room, has blackout curtains and comfortable mattresses and pillows, suitable for 6 adults or families up to 8 with children.
Enjoy our convenience basket with welcoming snacks, tea, coffee, and creamer, plus all of the necessities of home such as dishwasher and laundry detergent. Upon arrival you’ll also get a digital guide to our unit, the resort and surrounding area to make your trip go smoothly.
Inside the King master bedroom closet, you’ll find all the beach items you need but can’t fit in your checked luggage: boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel gear, sand toys, umbrella, a cooler and a rolling cart to carry it all to the beach! You’ll also find a pack-n-play should you need one in the nightstand cabinets.
Included in your stay with us are all resort fees which grant you access to a number of premier amenities and parking. At Waipouli Beach Resort, you'll enjoy a sprawling river-like pool with 2 waterslides, multiple waterfalls, and a smooth rock-bottom "Keiki" beach - a wading pool entrance for children. The resort has 4 outdoor grills for your vacation barbecue, a fully equipped fitness center, a luxury day spa and a 5 star restaurant on the property.
This location puts you at the center of the island. Adjacent to the resort, with just a quick walk on Kuhio Highway, you can follow the 7 mile “Ke Ala Hele Makalae” biking and walking trail along the coast. About a mile to the north and south, you’ll find charming shops and eateries. Rent a bike from the lobby and explore right outside your door!

What we thought would be a fun way to experience a little slice of heaven, has turned into a passion for sharing it with guests through short term vacation rentals, and a mission to do so responsibly and respectfully with aloha. Throughout the booking process and your stay, you have 3 involved and invested owners: Matt (your host) and Amie (cohost) who work together to ensure the unit is ready for you and that you are prepared for your stay; and Pat (cohost) who serves behind the scenes and as your main point of contact if Matt and Amie are away. Our team is a family who frequents the unit and takes pride in providing a comfortable space for your next vacation. We are an adventurous family who enjoys the outdoors with a big heart for mountains and forests. We live in the Pacific Northwest and feel like Kaua'i is our tropical escape without sacrificing our love for nature.

Of all of the beautiful and unique Hawaiian Islands, our family fell in love with Kaua'i for its lush greenery, slow pace, friendly people and its equally adventurous and relaxing vibe. Waipouli Beach Resort is in the heart of it all on the eastern "Coconut Coast." Kaua'i's dramatic landscape makes travel on the western edge (the infamous Na Pali Coast), impassible by car. All traffic is directed around the eastern side, meaning Kapa'a is central to the adventures on both the northern and southern sides of the island. Within Kapa'a, you are within walking or a quick drive to Lydgate Beach Park, “Ke Ala Hele Makalae” biking and walking trail along the coast, Coconut Marketplace, Sleeping Giant hiking trail, Smith Family Luau and Fern Grotto, the Wailua River and Secret Falls, the downtown shops and restaurants of Kapa'a, and so much more. Other popular areas include:
1) LIH-Lihue Airport: 15 minutes south
2) Poipu: 30 minutes south
3) Port Allen Marina (for southern boat departures): 45 minutes south
4) Entrance to Waimea Canyon: 50 minutes south
5) Princeville and Hanalei: 40 minutes north
6) Hanalei Bay (beach and boat marina for northern departures): 45 minutes north

Pau Hana Kaua'i at Waipouli Beach Resort is a unique condo because it has invested owners- and not just financially. All of us frequent the condo, and want it to be a home away from home. We take all guest feedback for improvement and manage the condo with intention. We have a top notch group of staff that keep our place looking and feeling as new as possible, who take great pride in the condo too. When hosting, we provide all the comforts of home as well as travel advice, including a website listing all of our favorites on Kaua'i. We make sure you have what you need to enter the unit, and then welcome you to message us as many times throughout your stay as needed, but we don't plan to bother you on your vacation. Expect to hear from us again at the end of your reservation. We hope you can unplug and unwind as we do when we are there!
