If you’re wanting a vacation where you can sit on your balcony and enjoy the dolphins playing, the seagulls flying by, the sun dancing on the water like diamonds, and warm tropical breezes blowing, you need look no further. Welcome to the best of Destin West! This top floor, direct gulf-front condo offers the perfect vacation spot. Located on the Island connecting Ft. Walton to Destin, our 6th (top) floor condo, Unit 602, is in walking distance of Gulf-front restaurants, The Emerald Coast Convention Center, The Gulfarium, The Fishing Pier and many more fun activities.

Being a part of a resort like Destin West means having access to the Lazy River and Waterfall Pool on the Bayside as well as all of the Gulfside amenities. The waves and sand of the Gulf, the large pools, hot tubs, and kiddy pool are yours to enjoy. Many families never find a need to leave the Resort. It offers a complete family vacation. Wow, this trip was fantastic!!! The condo is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The view is phenomenal, the access to the beach is as easy as it gets, and everything else you’d need is within a short drive. Bill was by far the most attentive host we’ve ever had and was more than accommodating to our timeline and parking needs (the rental was too tall for the parking garage). We apparently brought the cold with us and really wished the lazy river and big pool on the gulf side were heated in the winter, but the pools and hot tubs worked fine since none of the kids are little. The kids have already asked about going back!

Excellent view and property

We have stayed at the same location 2 years in a row! We love the view from the balcony! Nice and clean accommodations! Friendly host. Close to beach and boardwalk. Would recommend staying here again in the future.

Wow.. what a beautiful location. Condo was perfect, the view was unbelievable, the pools and grounds all amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner was also very responsive and easy to work with. The only negative worth mentioning is if you don't like music, the hotel next door plays live and speaker music until about 10pm every night. You can hear it very well from balcony. The only night is really bothered me was the first night because I was exhausted from travel. Just book it!!!

Wonderful

This place is amazing! The view is the best with a huge balcony. Free beach service is provided with 2 chairs and 1 umbrella, it was so nice to have that. It’s walking distance to the boardwalk with restaurants. Bill and Shelly were great hosts, they answered questions promptly, and the place was stocked with starters for laundry, dishwasher, toilet paper, and paper towels. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location!

Our location was absolutely perfect. Our condo was right next to the back elevator that took us right down to the boardwalk to the beach. We loved having access to multiple pools. The condo was also walking distance to the boardwalk in Ft Walton and a short drive to Destin . Bill had wonderful communication throughout our entire stay. We would definitely recommend this location/property and plan on coming back again!

Amazing ocean views!

This is the perfect Gulf facing condo with all the amenities you could need! The ocean view was amazing, the pools and lazy river were awesome, and the beach access was great! Bill and Shelley were wonderful hosts, keeping us up to date on everything prior to check-in, day of check-in, and being available for any needs during our stay!

Beautiful View/location

This condo has an amazing view of the ocean which we saw dolphins daily near the shore! The location to the Boardwalk with all the shops and restaurants was within walking distance and the pools and hot tubs were great! So much to do here or just relax and enjoy the beach!

Excellent location

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the beach, and the condo was well stocked with cooking utensils. Also had a first aid kit, came in handy!! Communication was great!!

Great Stay

Bill and Shelleys condo is great! My family and I stayed and really enjoyed the unit. The balcony is spacious and the view is wonderful. Bill was so helpful with any and all questions I had during the week. Highly recommend.

Love this place!

This was our second trip to this condo at Destin West and we absolutely love it! It is the perfect place for our family. They have everything in the condo that you need and the views are amazing! Bill was very responsive and helpful any time we had a question. We can’t wait to go back!

Our favorite beach condo ever!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this condo! From the perfect beach view from the large balcony, to the size and cleanliness of the condo, to the modern decor and fully stocked kitchen - we loved it all!! We had a wonderful vacation in this comfortable, clean condo and with gorgeous views.

We would definitely recommend this condo. Bill was a wonderful host that provided a beautiful, clean condo with the most amazing views. We were even able to watch the dolphins swim close to the beach a few times. The beach service was awesome and the pool next to the condo was a bonus. It is also close to some great restaurants. We had a great vacation!

This condo was amazing!! Great views! You had ocean front viewing from balcony table or inside at the dining room table. The condo was nice and spacious, very clean and great bathrooms. We are reserving this exact condo for our next trip to Destin!

What a beautiful vacation we had this year! The condo was WONDERFUL- it was big enough for our whole family to enjoy and that is saying alot with my teenagers. We were in walking distance of good food, lots of fun and the best part- the beach! We did not have to get the car out but about two times for our entire trip. We we so blessed to find such sweet people on VRBO to rent this dream- and we hope to be there again this coming summer!

Great location. Property Needs “Refreshed”

Stayed at Destin West several times over the past few years and truly enjoy the amenities. That being said, the property is beginning to look “tired”. The condo itself and the property is in need of some attention and updating. Also, the elevator being broken all week near the gulf front condos was a real bummer and inconvenient. The owners are great to work with and would recommend their properties.

Amazing location with incredible ocean views.

This property will not disappoint if you are looking for a condo right on the beach! Pros: Extremely clean and sanitary, quick response from owner, very comfortable beds, and best location in Destin West! Cons: Destin West as a whole is in need of an update. The elevator at end of the complex is broken and makes it very inconvenient to head to the beach if you do not want to use the stairs. While the unit is spotless, it is definitely in need of some TLC. The furnishings are new and up to date, however, the bones of the condo could use some renovations. There are holes in the walls where pictures used to hang, paint falling off of the ceiling, and some rotted wood on baseboards. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay, but I do think that the pictures are not completely accurate in terms of the wear and tear on the structure of the condo. With a little updating and new paint etc, this unit could be a 5 start rental.

Absolutely amazing!!!

We are so in love with this condo and everything about this property! The sunrises and sunsets are something photos can’t even captivate! The decor of this condo was so modern and clean, I want the decorator to come redo my home for me! The beds and pillows were comfortably, the appliances were phenomenal and up to date! We will be back!!! Bill was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to any of our questions!

Gorgeous View

This is our 5th time staying at Destin West. While the other properties were beautifully maintained and included all the awesome amenities, this condo was by far the best property. I can't imagine that there could be a better gulf view from any other condo at this resort. The sunsets were gorgeous and the balcony area is private. You're not able to see other families on their balconies and they can't see you. The only suggestion I have is to add a shelf in the master shower to place toiletries on. This resort is awesome and I hope to book the same room again next year!
