Enjoy the Mississippi River with all it has to offer. Just blocks away from the downtown restaurants, bars, and boat ramps. Store your toys (boats, jet skis, motorcycles, snowmobiles) in the 40 ft deep garage. Composite deck off of the master bedroom. Knotty Alder cabinets and woodwork. Granite countertops throughout, ceramic tile in the kitchen/dining, custom tile shower in the upstairs master bath. Tv's in the lower bedroom and family room. The family room couch has a pull out bed if needed.
Whether your looking for a quiet getaway, or entertaining yourselves with all the Mississippi has to offer, this property and this town can't be beat. Harpers Ferry is only a 15 minute drive from Prarie Du Chien, Marquette, or Lansing. The restaurants offer delicious food and the bars offer great night life for the adults. The property sits just across the road from the beautiful Mississippi River.
Make some of the best memories with your family and friends! Some attractions are fishing, hunting, over 110 miles of snowmobile trails, Pikes Peak, Effigy Mounds, Spook Cave, casino, boat tours, kayaking, and the Yellow River State Park.
Don't forget this area offers some of the best viewing of late summer and fall foliage. It is in the heart of the bluffs. Thank you!

We had two grandparents, mom, and 4 boys ranging from 4-14. There was a huge garage space offered to park a boat. Clean space and friendly hosts…got the job done!

4th Family Harpers Trip

We loved the place and the their was plenty of space for us all to spread out. The bedrooms were very comfortable! Loved our walks in the neighborhood.

This property was perfect! Id recommend it to any one looking for a weekend getaway. It is close to everything and very close to the river. Its a 10/10 in my book! I can't thank Scott enough!

Very nice Harper's Ferry condo

This brand new condo on the Upper Mississippi is a wonderful rental property. The accommodations are very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The owners were in the condo next door, during some of our stay and were very kind and helpful. Scott was easy to contact to rent the condo. After we arrived he responded promptly to our questions and accommodated our needs. We slept seven people here comfortably. Two very nice full bathrooms. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, large side by side fridge toaster and microwave. The dining area worked well with the round table and extra chairs. The kitchen also had a counter top bar and chairs. One of the more impressive features is the extra tall garage for parking your RV, boat or other toys you may want to bring along. Upstairs, in the loft, there is a large flat screen TV and a DVD player. There is no internet service, which worked out just fine for us. Although the property does not actually overlook the river, it is right across the street from the homes that do back up to the water front. You can go out the front door, walk across the street and sit under a shade tree and watch the river go by. Harper's Ferry is a pleasant fishing/boating village right on the Mississippi River. It is a beautiful area, with the river to the east and forested hills and bluffs and field to the west. The local residents are very friendly. There are at least two restaurants in this small town a gas station with a Quickmart, a public library with WiFi internet available, post office, boat ramp and docks for those who bring their boats. We enjoyed a boat tour of a portion of the Upper Mississippi, booked through Mississippi Explorers; lots of eagles to see, beaver dams, and lots of interesting information about the Mississippi River and the area. Our captain and first mate were very knowledgeable. We also hiked the Effigy Mounds National Monument trails, which were close by and very interesting.

Harper's Ferry

Nice home fairly new. Kitchen is well appointed, could use updated cutlery(paring and kitchen knives). Living spaces comfortable. Upstairs bedroom could use an updated mattress or topper. Bathrooms are lovely and with updated towel sets you would feel pampered. Met the owners. Very nice couple, easy to have conversation with. Overall lovely stay and the fall colors in the area are gorgeous!

Motorcycle trip

Nice location to base daily rides. Garage was nice for parking the bikes. No real store in town so buy your groceries and liquor before going or you will pay high prices at the gas station/store. No laundry facilities in the house or nearby, which would have been nice for those traveling on motorcycle. Only thing negative was the flat plastic covered bed pillows. Lol

Nice Kid-Friendly Rental For Summer Vacation

Our family of six enjoyed our week at Harper's Ferry. The property was clean and looked practically new. Check-in was smooth, and we had no problems during the week. The property is near some great parks for hiking and public access for fishing on the river. There has been some new construction behind the property that obscures the view of the bluffs a little bit, but it is still a peaceful and beautiful place to escape for a cup of coffee in the morning. Overall, we were pleased and would recommend this property to others.

Fun on the Mississippi

Great spot to get to all the natural attractions in the Prairie du Chien area. We had a great family getaway and this place accommodated the five of us comfortably. Awesome Covid getaway - cooked most of our meals in the ample kitchen. Very much enjoyed the fire pit. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood

Check in was a little confusing because we were given the house # of the owners side of the condo. We were told the door would be open but we found the door to the house # we were given was locked. We contacted the owner & after some discussion he told us that the address on my rental confirmation was his side of the condo & our rental was the other side. So we tried the other door and that was open. The rest of the stay went well. Nice place & quite area with friendly neighbors. We found the place very clean & nice. Kitchen was well stocked with most everything we needed for cooking. (Oven could be cleaned - someone must have let something spill because when we tried baking some biscuits it smoked and set the smoke detector off.) Plenty of towels for bath and kitchen & bath. Garage space for our trailer & motorcycle was really nice to have available. Upstairs bed was kinda uncomfortable (kinda feels like you have to fight to keep from falling into a whole in the middle) so we moved to the downstairs bedroom & we found those beds more comfortable. Overall i would recommend this rental. The area had lots to offer for motorcycle riding. I am sure it would be just as good for anyone boating, fishing, hiking and more. Me, my husband & our little dog really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the chance to stay here to relax & enjoy some moch needed "time away" from home & work.
