SUPER BOWL RETREAT FOR UP TO 6 FANS Looking for a relaxing retreat in Silicon Valley ? Great location for attending Stanford University and Levi’s Stadium sporting events? This home is located on a quiet culdesac 2 miles from the village of Los Altos and easy access to major highways ( 280/ 85 / 237). It is in close proximity to tech companies and Stanford University and Hospitals. The home sits on a mountain view acre with security fenced swimming pool with built- in spa. Our house provides an open concept kitchen and family room. The living and dining rooms are combined. There is a wet bar that opens to the backyard. Hiking trails abut the property. The mature landscaping gives the yard a park like feel. The kitchen features a granite pub table with seating for eight. Large windows through out the home take advantage of the yard's beautiful landscape and views. The home has been totally remodeled to give it charm and functionality. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. The master bedroom has a california king bed and there are two bedrooms with queen beds and another with a sofa bed. The master suite includes an air tub for two, marble shower, double vanities and a separate terrace with fire pit for enjoying the beautiful evenings. The patio areas have comfortable outdoor seating. Ours is a no smoking property. We are not zoned for corporate events or large groups. This is our main residence, our home. This is a beautiful clean home with all the amenities. The pool and hot tub are heated and perfect for the kids to play in our for just lounging around. Gorgeous yard and wonderful neighborhood. The host was very responsive to all of our questions and made the check in/out easy and convenient.

Wonderful

Great location for our trip to Stanford to celebrate our youngest child graduating from college. Lots of space for a large family trip. There were plenty of places to gather and beds were comfortable. I’d suggest giving a heads up about the statues in the front yard as that caught us off guard a bit. Overall, a great experience. Thanks!

Spectacular stay!

We cannot rave enough about our stay at this beautiful home! The house has a beautiful interior and spacious kitchen for gathering. But it’s the grounds — from the pool to the gardens to the view — that make this place so special. The owner was responsive throughout the entire process from reservation to check out. Five is not enough stars!

Wonderful stay

Carol’s house is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood minutes from the cute downtown Los Altos with restaurants and shops. The landscaping is beautiful and the pool is very nice. The house is big, comfortable, clean, and has everything you need and more. Communication with the owner was very easy. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you, Carol, for sharing your home with us.

Luxury in Los Altos Hills

We had a wonderful time at Carol’s property. We stayed initially for 5 days and then another 4 after our return from Hawaii. We absolutely loved it and Carol was available to us for any query we had. A beautifully presented and pristine property with everything we needed for a very relaxing vacation. The pool is superb and our kids and my wife loved the diving board - not something you see all that often these days. The pool, garden and house are maintained to perfection and we hope to return again very soon.

Absolutely Perfect

This house was absolutely perfect for us to use a home base for my sons wedding. There is as plenty of space and lots of areas to move around in. The backyard and views were stunning. In fact the view from the master bedroom window looked like a piece of art! Communication with host was excellent.

Great host, great stay!

The hosts and property were both fantastic. The house is very comfortable, and the property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was perfect. The home was fully equipped with everything we need, and the hosts were readily available. We have two little kids under three, and they had a ball. Great get away for the family.

Perfect weekend getaway

Such a beautiful property to unwind during a weekend getaway! The yard is so spacious, with plenty of room to relax, go for a swim, dine outside and enjoy a BBQ. The house also has all the amenities you need. Really enjoyed the excellent communication with the owners, who were very generous regarding check in and check out times. I will be recommending to friends, and look forward to coming back !

The house is very comfortable. The decor and furnishings are well maintained. The backyard and the view of the surrounding hills are very pretty. The location is private and quiet but close to services.

Beautiful Home in Idyllic Location

The house is located is the exclusive suburb of Los Altos Hills with a breathtaking yard that is impeccably maintained. The home was well amenitized and the owner was very pleasant/helpful at all times. Supplies were abundant and the owner was generous in allowing us to use many of the items typically not available to tenants in a rental property. The salt water pool was incredible, heated to 80 degrees at all times-- with a vigilant pool guy who kept it clean weekly. We stayed for a month, and the owner provided weekly cleaning from a housekeeper who has been with the family for over thirty years. If I could have another grandmother, I would pick their housekeeper, Daisy. This home was the cornerstone for one of the best family vacations we have ever had. Many thanks to the Winters family for making it so special!

Fabulous home and gardens with pool

My husband, our golden retriever and I stayed at this lovely home for four nights. The owners are gracious, and the home is extremely comfortable. We moved from the Bay Area last year, and took this opportunity to visit with several different friends. We cooked some great meals, and took advantage of the multiple seating areas for al fresco dining and sipping wine. The view of the property and hills beyond from the master suite are breathtaking. We will definitely return!

The home was beautiful and very roomy for our 6 adults and baby.

We loved the views, pool, all the balconies and quiet location. Kitchen was fun to make breakfast and had all the fixings for cooking. Loved the downtown area with great bagel shop and bakery. Close to highway and lots of space for walking and running. Must like hills. LOL

Gorgeous Location and very relaxing

We absolutely loved staying in this home! We were in the Los Altos area for a wedding and this home was a perfect location to attend all the wedding festivities. The home is very close to Stanford University and ample shopping. It is tucked away and feels like you are in your own private world. We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard! We sat out on the patio for breakfast and the kids enjoyed the pool from sun up to sun down! We fit comfortably with 8 people, the house was clean and well maintained. The owners are lovely and provided everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful long weekend with family

Our family attended a graduation at Stanford. The location is convenient and just a few minutes to Stanford. The house had every thing we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. The park-like backyard, pool and outdoor dining areas allowed us to get outside to enjoy the sun and perfect weather.

A great place to stay

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was amazing! Super spacious with lots of room to relax. We got to use the pool and enjoyed the backyard with some of the backyard games. The area is very peaceful and area was close to our wedding venue. The hosts, Carol and Dan, are really responsive and made sure we enjoyed our time at their place. We really appreciate their hospitality.

Beautiful, spacious home with a large, lovely, peaceful backyard. Loved it here!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home the weekend of our daughter's wedding. It was the perfect space for our family, and provided a variety of areas, especially in the large, serene backyard, to relax and recharge. There was ample space, it was clean and comfortable, well stocked, and a beautiful home. We had plenty of room for the bride and bridesmaids to get dressed and have breakfast the morning of the wedding, and the backyard provided a beautiful setting for the photographer to take some lovely pictures of the bridal party. The home provided much needed serenity in between our nearby festivities. And, the quiet, relaxing backyard was a welcome respite for us to enjoy with the groom's family the day after the wedding, who were visiting from Florida while the worry of Hurricane Irma was raging through their community. Thank you to our host family for sharing your beautiful home and property with us! It will be a lifetime memory for our family!

Great property

We were very happy with our stay here. Los Altos Hills is a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to the I-280 freeway, and is centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. Stanford is ~10-15 minutes away and San Francisco is about an hour away. Or if you stay close by, the town of Los Altos is actually quiet nice as well. My kids loved the pool, which was heated to a nice temperature during our stay. And the hosts were responsive on email to all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again ourselves, or recommend to other families looking for a good home base in the Silicon Valley area.
