We had the best time! It was very clean. The host checked in with us many times during our week long stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. We saw MANY bears every day we were there! Every morning and evening you could count on seeing multiple! The location was perfect! Quick access to the Smoky Mountain National Park as well as Gatlinburg with Pigeon Forge only 25 minutes away!

Mike was so responsive to messages! Mike also sent us very helpful information on where stores were located and the distance .The view and location were beautiful. It was a wonderful place to stay and make memories with family and friends. Access to multiple pools was perfect for the kiddos. Access to town was very easy and only ten minutes away.

Mike was really easy to work with. He wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. The house is really nice and has plenty of room for multiple families to stay in one place. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving while staying here. I would highly recommend staying here. It is a very short drive to downtown Gatlinburg.

The host was exceptional, very responsive and welcoming. The house is filled with higher end things, for example sofa from Pottery Barn and dishes from Williams and Sonoma. It’s clear this host knows about the little things that make a place feel like home. You’ll love it!

House was filthy upon our arrival. The type of filth that makes you want to leave. That’s exactly what we did. Host was responsive but amount reimbursed was quite low and disappointing.

We’re sorry this guest felt disappointed. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and this is the first time we’ve received feedback suggesting the cabin did not meet our usual standards. We were responsive and communicated with the guest during their stay, and a partial refund was issued after they chose to depart early. Because the concerns were communicated late, we were unable to address them during the stay or rebook the unused nights. After departure, we reviewed the feedback with our cleaning team and completed a full deep cleaning to ensure the cabin met the high standard our guests expect and typically experience. We’ve also addressed the specific items noted to prevent a recurrence. We appreciate feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained cabin for all guests.

Thanks for a great review! While we cannot promise you will see bears. It is highly likely. Our cabin is right along a well traveled bear path up and down the mountain side. 🐻

We loved our stay for the week! The location is very close to downtown Gatlinburg so easy access to restaurants and activities. Pigeon Forge is also a very short drive. A huge plus was getting to see bears every single day! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for eating in and the beds were all very comfortable. I will say the hill getting us up to the cabin is very steep, especially in the rain. Our entire family definitely would stay here again!

Great location and bear sightings!

Awesome close location to downtown. We saw several bears everyday it was awesome! Just yoked your doors locked! We will be coming back!

Exceptional Experience

My son got married in Gatlinburg on June 15th and we found this cabin online. It was not a disappointment at all. The place was exactly like the description & the host even checked in on the app to make sure we had everything that we needed. There was a total of 11 of us that stayed at the cabin ages ranged from 2-70 years old. There was something for everyone to enjoy in the cabin. I would highly recommend staying here and would gladly stay here again.

comfortable property but some things lacking or needing repair and given it was on the higher end of price for comparable properties I was disappointed. 1) there was a sharp metal brokpiece in hot tub that scraped my kids foot, could have easily cut her. 2) most windows in the house would not open, that's against fire safety. the host sent someone to fix a few, but one berm never did have a window that would open. we wanted them to open for safety and b/c it was stuffy even with the AC running 3) host stated there would be a small amount of basics like coffee pods, laundry soap etc... there was not. he did send coffee, which was nice, but we had already at that point made an extra 1 hr trip back to pigeon forge 4) no food transport items at all, no cooler, food storage, baggies etc... which is odd for a higher priced rental 5) only 1 fan for 4 bedroom, no ceiling fans in bedrooms, my kids fought over the 1 fan and I went without and had a lot of trouble sleeping b/c it was quite warm on the top floor even w/ AC as low as possible (68). the owner did send fans over after the first night 5) water in both showers does not get hot, just warm, and pressure is VERY low in the master. 6) hot tub was dirty. - the good was we slept comfortably, beds were nice, furnishings were nice, we had fun with the pool table, and the views are nice. was surprised owner didn't offer discount for first night with no fans when we explained we had trouble sleeping. overall okay, but overpriced

The window concerns were also resolved, and all are now functioning properly. When you let us know about your desire for fans, we delivered additional units promptly. We also reviewed the water temperature and pressure and made adjustments, and the hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled after each guest’s stay. We provide starter supplies as noted in the listing, and we’ll work to make that clearer for future guests. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.

Family trip to the Smokies

We spent 5 nights in Gatlinburg/Smokies. This property was nicely located to both Gatlinburg and the Sugarland visitor center for the Smoky Mountain NP. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials (pots/pans, plates glasses, etc). Having multiple bathrooms was great with 4 adults and 3 littles (7, 5 & 3). The host, Mike, was great at communicating. He answered any questions I had before and during our stay. We took advantage of the different pools associated with the property. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck at the end of the day either in the chairs or the hot tub. Our boys enjoyed being on "bear watch" each day...and saw multiple bears. Do be sure to lock your vehicle! We saw one bear open a neighboring vehicle. The pool table and arcade games were another nice bonus to keep both the kids and adults entertained. If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be checking to see if this property is available.
