Newly Renovated, In River Run, Walk to Gondola

Luxurious Buffalo Lodge in the heart of River Run Village has everything you need for the perfect vacation. This condo is the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts as well as those who just want to settle down and relax. There are a variety of activities and attractions in close proximity. Restaurants, great shopping, coffee shops, nightlife, and rental shops are steps away. Skiers and snowboarders take advantage of the Gondola that is just a two minute walk from Buffalo Lodge. Also located right outside the front is the new outdoor ice skating rink (during winter) and miniature golf course (during summer). You can pay to rent your skates or bring your own!

Once you get here, you don’t have to worry about driving, parking, or shuttles. Convenience is the highlight of this cozy condo. When you arrive you will share incredible views from the balcony overlooking a quaint little courtyard that opens up to the center of the village. Look further and see the beautiful mountains so close you feel like you can touch them. Go downstairs and enjoy the lounge with stone fireplace, TV and Pool Tables. Right outside for your pleasure is a 10 person hot tub with a snow melt system for year round accessibility. A gas barbeque has also been added to the patio area for guest use. A heated pool & hot tub with an unbelievable view of the slopes is included for our guests to enjoy.

The condo has been renovated: new flooring, paint and stainless steel appliances. Additionally, a brand new mattress has been put in the master bedroom. In the living area, we have upgraded to a brand new pullout sofa with new mattress, along with a comfortable chair. Inside the unit, there are TVs, DVD Players, & Wireless Internet Access to provide you with the comfort of home. We have a comfy couch which opens up into a queen-size sleeper to accommodate guests.

Keystone Resort is one of the top ranking resorts in the nation as a Four-Season Resort and River Run Village is its focal point! The Village Center is the location of many festivals during the year. Besides the winter ski season, the location is perfect for Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Boating, and other great activities to partake in for the spring, summer, and fall seasons. You are also just a short drive to Breckenridge, Vail, and Arapahoe Basin. Please note that our renters will be able to take advantage of some great ski deals, including lift tickets and rentals.

We know you will like coming home to our warm and cozy condominium after spending the day in the Colorado Rocky Mountain great outdoors. Our condo was chosen by our family for all of the same great reasons that you will be glad you chose it. The mountain atmosphere and spirit of River Run Village will have you feeling like you want to stay even longer.

This condo is within a short walk to the Gondola. The condo is in great condition and is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, etc. I highly recommend this unit when skiing Keystone. The management company provides frequent email communication and text messages with check-in procedures and the code to access the condo as well as checking out procedures.

Cozy condo convenient location

Perfect sized condo for a couple. Very clean condo and building. Great location to restaurants, shops and the gondola. Only problem was the broken garage elevator. But you can pull up to the front door to load and unload via the handicapped ramp. We would stay again.

Great time at Riverrun

We enjoyed the convenient location and having a full kitchen. The hot tub at the condo building was convenient. We traveled next door twice to enjoy the outdoor heated pool as well.

Great time in River Run

Overall we had a fantastic stay! The unit is small but clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and the view into River Run village is absolutely lovely. The location is a convenient few minute walk to the gondola and the use of the hot tubs and pools made our muscles happy after skiing. The unit could’ve been made even better with a few small additions like a broom to sweep up messes and a humidifier for the intensely dry air. Marci, the condo owner, was absolutely lovely! She was kind, patient, and communicative, adjusting our reservation when needed and assisting us with a very late check-in. We found the communications through the management company confusing — receiving several emails and text messages. In fact, we never received an email with the door code — or somehow missed it in all the ones we got — though someone quickly answered and assisted when we realized this and called. Perhaps all communications could’ve been condensed into a single email prior to arrival with check-in and check-out instructions, address, building information, and other pertinent information? That would’ve made the arrival process, and getting a sense of the building amenities, much smoother. All in all we had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to return and/or suggest it to our friends. Happy skiing/hiking/adventuring!

Mountain View and walk to Gondola

The Mountain View and being at the tip of the village makes this location super convenient. The Kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you need to cook with. The balcony is fun to sit out on. We’ve stayed here for three spring breaks in a row and love this place! The owners are great and make the place feel like home. We really look forward to our next visit!

Great location and property

Nice location by gondola, great hot tubs, clean unit. The owner worked with us from having to cancel last year due to illness and allowed us to reschedule for this year. It was wonderful! Hope to return again.

Good as advertised

Good communication from owner and property management company. The unit is located a short distance from the elevator, but far removed from it that you shouldn’t worry about noises. All appliances worked well, the kitchen was well stacked. Enough pillows, linens for 2-4 people. There are two TV’s in the unit which are roughly 24” screens which might be ok for some, but others might prefer a bigger screen. Very good option to stay at the village.

Great location and newly updated

This is our second time staying and it has been an amazing experience. This condo location offers both mountain views and views of the lively River Run village. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that allows you to enjoy the comfort of home-cooked meals after a full day of skiing. The Buffalo lodge has a game/entertainment great room equipped with two pool tables. During the day time, this doubled as a great work space. It also offers amenities for grilling and two hot tubs. The hosts are wonderful making you feel welcome in their beautifully maintained condo. They have provided books, board games and televisions providing recreation during your downtime from skiing. They are very responsive and helpful in exploring the best that Keystone has to offer. We look forward to returning again.

Great rental!

This property is in a great location. It is very close to shops/restaurants. It is also very close to the gondola. The balcony overlooks the shops, and a beautiful campfire. The rental was very clean. The host supplied some extras like coffee/tea/spices. I would definitely rent this again.

Excellent location

This place is located right next to the ski schools and ski rental places. Next to the ice rink and a large outdoor fire pit and restaurants. We loved it.

The condo was absolutely perfect for my family!

The condo is perfect! We had a great Christmas staying in keystone. It snowed I think everyday, had a blast skiing and snowmobiling. The condo is in a perfect location and the kitchen was fully equipped. The bedding was very comfortable! 5 stars on the property

Great Place

This property is perfect for a nice ski vacation. It's located in the heart of River run Village, it's convenient to everything: restaurants, ski lessons, ski rentals, and to the gondola. The property had everything in it you could need, the check-in process was quick and simple, an additional bonus of having the ski lockers made the whole thing perfect. I would stay here again.

Location, location, location

Great little condo - just right for dad and 2 kids ski week. Parked when we got there and never got in the cars again until we checked out - skiing, ski school, pool/hot tub, dining all with no extra hassle. Had everything we needed. Thanks.

Nice Condo, HOA Issue Elevators

Nice condo which was clean and comfortable, great location in River Run. Kitchen very well stocked with pots, utensils etc. The issue was with the HOA, both elevators for Buffalo Lodge were broken for our entire 10 day stay which meant Residents, Guests and Cleaning Staff were forced to take the Stairs at all times. All luggage, equipment, coolers etc. had to be carried up and down, in our case, 3 to 4 flights of stairs. The signs stating that the Elevators were inoperable looked like they had been there awhile and we were not notified prior to our arrival. We contacted the Property Management Co. the day we arrived, 23 Jan, and the next day a newer sign was put up by the HOA that it would be three plus weeks for repairs. The signs were removed the day before we left but the Elevators did not work then or on the next day when we departed. I would also recommend the Property Management Co. make Guests aware that the Elevators are specific to each Lodge, as marked, since there is a single underground garage for at least 4 different lodges. Nothing wrong with the Condo, it was fine but Elevators not working was a difficult for an older couple.

Great Location / But Updates Needed

Property is in a great location, but it is desperately in need of upgrades. Most importantly, none of the elevators worked in the entire building during our entire stay. Walking up and down multiple flights of steps with bags and ski gear gets tiring, especially with small children. All guests in the building were complaining because the elevators had allegedly been broken for a long time and there was no indication that they would be fixed anytime soon. The condo unit itself was ok, although all the appliances and furnishings were outdated. The management company needs to do a better job cleaning between guests.

First week in January

Great location- easy walk to the lifts-my husband enjoyed the hot tub and we did play a few games of billiards. Because of Covid we cooked in and used the grill a couple of times. Having the ski locker was convenient. We would visit again.

River Run in the heart of Keystone offers dozens of activities to chose from, including relaxing. We love it, and so will you.
