Mountain Home on Middle Saluda River near Jones Gap and Table Rock State Parks

This spacious mountain house is located on the Middle Saluda River and is only 1 mile from the main entrance to Jones Gap State Park, The large family room has a wood burning fire place and comfortable seating. The kitchen is well equipped with updated appliances, granite countertops, full range of cooking and bakeware, and a 4 seat dinette, while the separate dining room offers more room for larger gatherings. The large master bedroom boasts a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, and large walk-in closet (for families w/ small children: a standard Pack n Play will fit in the master closet). The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has two twin beds. Off of the family room is a sun porch with a twin sized day bed and trundle, enabling it to be used as a fourth bedroom. The house sleeps 8. The sun porch opens to a grilling deck with a stainless gas grill and steps leading down into the large river front yard that has two fire pits. Yard games available include corn hole and giant Jenga, as well as ping pong in the garage. The family room has games, puzzles, playing cards, and DVDs. The house is equipped with WIFI and has Rokus in the family room master bedroom. A South Carolina State Parks pass is included with your stay, which will allow your entire party free admission to Jones Gap State Park (1 mile), Caesar’s Head State Park (15 miles), Table Rock State Park (15 miles) or any other South Carolina State Park during your stay. Travelers Rest is less than a 30 minute drive, where you can explore local shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
