Welcome to our beautiful homeā€”perfect for a relaxing getaway with family or a small group of friends. The backyard and pool area are designed for quiet enjoyment, offering a peaceful space to unwind and recharge that includes fire pit and corn-hole.

We are conveniently located just a short 15-minute drive to The Villages and Middleton (The Villages High School), and only 10 minutes to Florida National Cemetery. The home is also near multiple local wedding venues, making it a great option for guests attending ceremonies or events while still enjoying a quiet, residential setting.

We are dog-friendly for well-trained dogs. We ask that pets be house-trained, do not chew on furniture, and be supervised at all times. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by pets.

Please note: This home is located in a quiet neighborhood with close neighbors. Out of respect for the community, this property is not suitable for parties, events, or get-togethers of any kind, including wedding rehearsal dinners or receptions. We strictly enforce occupancy limits; no more than 10 people may be on the property at a time. The outside of the property is monitored to ensure compliance.

This home is intended for quiet stays only. If you are planning a celebration, gathering, or event, this property will not be a good fit. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to relax, we would love to host you.

The house is an historic treasure, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. We enjoyed it so much! Huge backyard for dogs to run and everyone to enjoy.

Everything was wonderful! The house is unique and decorated accordingly. The back yard is large and enclosed. Our host was very accommodating and kind. Recommend to anyone that wants to stay in central Florida.

Great stay

Went for mother in law 80th Bday that lives in villages. The house was close and easy back and forth. When staying in an old house you think the beds will be metal springs.. I LOVED that they had really comfortable mattresses and bedding just made it that much better. I look forward to coming back!

Home Away From Homeā€”Our Second Visit!

This was our second stay at Lori's home, and we're already planning more trips in 2025. The house is beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lori is an exceptional hostā€”friendly, communicative, and truly cares about her guests. By far, this is our favorite vacation rental. Our pup, Lucy, also had a blast and felt right at home.

A Private Treasure.

The charm and decor of this home is unmatched. Bushnell Florida is not really a tourist destination. That's why we like it here. Why pay for a resort, when you can stay here. The back yard is a park in itself. I have to come back.

Amazing

This place was amazing! The house has so much charm and everything you need was there. A family member forgot their toothbrush and there was a new one in the bathroom. Having firewood available was an extremely nice touch. Property manager responded promptly with any question prior to arrival. The added bonus was having fresh flowers and a welcoming card when we arrived. Thank you for a fabulous stay!!

Weekend trip for family time

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house has plenty of space and it was really nice having a bathroom for each bedroom. Check in/out process was a breeze. Lori has decorated the home beautifully. Kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to make breakfast each morning. We had plenty of space to park and loved having our vehicles in the back behind a fence. The pool looked great but it was still a bit chilly so we just enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. We will definitely choose this home next time we are in the area.

We had an awesome stay! Would highly recommend! Lori was close by and right there to solve one issue. The house is spacious and loved having 3 bathrooms. The home is well stocked. We werenā€™t able to use the pool bc of temperature but had some local family and friends over for dinner one night and had a ball at the fire pit. Just perfect for our wedding weekend at Bear Tree Barn!

Farmhouse charm

The home is spacious, warm and inviting. We traveled down from Maine to deliver Wreaths for Bushnell cemetery. We were able to bring our semi truck back to the home and park it under the pole barn! 30Amp plug in!! The house had everything you could want and need. The candy machine was a nice touch, bring lots of quarters. lol

This house is amazing! The pool is lovely and the perfect size for a small family. The house is clean and decorated beautifully. It was so fun to explore the unique antiques and art. Lori our host was so sweet and helpful, and I love that she encouraged us to use her serving dishes to host our grandparents. I love the addition of the child lock on the back door to the pool. My son is autistic and the door was a concern of ours but we were so relieved to see the extra security on the door. We didnā€™t need to purchase any cooking supplies as she already provides almost any cooking ware you may need. House rules and check out rules were refreshingly simple, making us feel more at home and not like we had to walk on eggshells all over the house. Our family has already discussed trying to book this house again for our next trip to Florida.

Beautiful Historic Home

Loved this home! This home is larger than it appears from the street and it is beautifully decorated (some antiques that we were careful not to use). It is so beautiful! The backyard is peaceful with a lovely pool. There are two parlors with plenty of seating. Beds are very high, esp. the 2nd queen room, but comfortable. Host was very responsive. Recommend for families with older children or all adults due to concerns for possible damage to the decor.

Unique and Beautiful Home

First off, Lori was great to work with and very nice. Secondly the home is one of the coolest houses I've ever been in. It is dripping in personality and uniqueness while also being very comfortable and pleasant. It has a lot of space. The backyard is huge and well fenced in. The pool adds a nice spot to cool off and you are surrounded by a garden with all kinds of butterflies; super cool. The only issue was the front door's locking mechanism is really old and simply needs to be replaced with a standard dead bolt. Other than that, its probably my favorite Vrbo destination to date.

Excellent stay!

This house is awesome and every sense of the word. Large enough to have people, but not feel on top of each other. Historic, artistic, and eclectic. If you want to unique stay, this is the place for you. Everything was clean and the house is well stocked with all the supplies you could think of. The house was pet friendly and had a large yard for my dog to run around and play. The pool is nice, although it was hot every day this week, but I blame that on the weather and not so much the pool itself. The location is very quiet with very limited noise from neighbors. If youā€™re looking for a quiet and relax and get away, this is the place for you. Lori was extremely easy to communicate with and very nice. Would recommend and would stay again!

Old Florida Perfection

Hands down, the best experience weā€™ve had in a vacation rental. The home is absolutely beautiful, well-stocked, and offers an abundance of spaceā€”both indoors and outdoors. Upon entering the spacious primary hallway, we felt transported back in time, so much so that we joked about waiting for a historic tour guide. We were in awe of the architecture, detail, and historic items throughout the home. The primary bed and various seating areas were incredibly comfortable as well. Everything about the home, location, and experience created a peaceful paradise. I should add that the WiFi was also super fast and reliable as well, though, I recommend you come to relax! The pool was a highlight, and we enjoyed strolling through the large backyard with our pup. Our host, Lori, was kind, easy to communicate with, and fun to talk to. We loved her property so much that weā€™ve already booked a second stay for later this year. Cannot recommend this place enough!
