This attractive oceanfront condominium project features two towers, outdoor pool, tennis courts, exercise room and game room. Each one or two bedroom unit features one to two bathrooms, full kitchen, off-street parking, central air, washer and dryer. Many units have sweeping ocean views and everybody enjoys the convenience of a quick walk to the beach. A movie theater, miniature golf and dining are nearby. Free WIFI available May through October only. Unit is located on north side of building. Exercise room, game room & sauna are located in south building. Parking & Amenity fee of $75/week (no cash) collected at building May through end of September.

Perfect little getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The whole booking, check-in/out process was very easy. Our condo was nicely decorated, and clean. We will definitely be back

Very nice beach property experience

The condo was accurately described on VRBO and met our needs. It was furnished nicely and felt very homey. We did have few cons such as the hallway cleanliness and smells. The tennis courts were not usable and the pool was shutdown half the week. The overall experience was very good.

Cute and clean

The condo is cute, clean and efficient. It had everything we needed in regards to coffee maker, refrigerator, and comfy space to crash at the end of each day of the music festival. It was also conveniently located only a block from the bus stop. The check in process is a pain - you have to check in at the property management office about 60 blocks away, and then again when you get to the condo. Having to bring our own towels and bedding was also an inconvenience, and that would be the only think that would keep me from booking it again.

Very Mixed

Our condo, despite good reviews, did not live up to it's promise. Everything was old, run down, or worn out. In addition, it was not particularly clean. The toilet broke the first day. Thankfully, Holiday sent a technician to repair it. In addition, the water was shut off not once but twice, with a few hours advance notice. We could not use the toilet or take a shower.

Upon arrival it was unclear where to park our vehicle. We ended up just picking a spot hoping to not be towed. We were able to use the key fob to enter the building but when trying to enter our unit the key wouldn't work. We all tried to use the key unsuccessfully. It was past office hours and we couldn't reach anyone forcing us to call the emergency phone number. We waiting a total of an hour and 45 minutes for someone to come and assist. When they where able to open the door, they made rude comments about operator error and wouldn't listen to how the key kept rotating around the lock.. when checking out the guy at Holiday Real Estate was absolutely the rudest percent I have ever had to deal with..I expressed that I had trouble getting into the unit several times and we even took a video to show them. He wouldn't even look at the video, say sorry, or act like a decent human being. After paying the 75.00 extra fee for someone to come "after hours" I asked for a receipt. I was given the answer that my credit card receipt should be enough,. I asked for a receipt that had what i was paying for not just the amount and u was told they would email it to me. I waited in the parking lot for my receipt to come in my email but it never arrived. I had to go into Holiday Real Estate and again ask for a receipt. I had to stay in the building while i listen to the guy make rude comments about me and say to all the other staff "well have her check her email then". WORST STAY EVER!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your stay. Each guest is provided with a check in package with parking and access instructions. This building requires onsite registration for parking. We certainly apologize that these guests had difficulty in accessing the building and the unit. They were provided with working access fob and keys as verified by the on call agent that went out to assist them. We have handled rentals in this property for 30 years. We have not had any issues with access reported to us before or after these guests.

Great bargain

This is a great set of buildings with a wonderful outdoor pool. I love the location as it is far enough away from the OC noise. Our stay was quiet and we really liked the view from the deck. For the price we paid for the unit it was a great bargain. Don't be shocked, however, when you get there and they ask for $50 to park. It's in the agreement but I must have missed it. The unit has had some updates but it is still outdated. Honestly that is common in ocean city. I usually go to different rentals a few times a year and most have outdated elements. It's a beach house after all. My only major issue with this rental was the very old mattress in the king size bedroom. It was very uncomfortable and if you lay on the side closest to the closet you actually are sleeping on a slant and it feels like you are going to roll on the floor. I couldn't even sleep the first night so I made my six year old swap places the rest of the trip. Ha! The rental company is not located at the building either so that does make it less convenient than other rentals. I tried calling to see if we could check out a little late and couldn't reach anyone. Overall a nice rental and I would Consider going back with a different sleeping arrangement. Thanks to the lady who worked at the buildings too. We left pool Passes in condo and she was very accommodating about it.

Needs changes

One MAJOR issue is the $50 fee having to be in check or money order. We had several families staying in the same building, and having to pay that $50 separately was a hassle! It should be included in the overall cost or at least be payable by credit card. The employees in the management office onsite were very understanding and I'm sure they are tired of people getting upset over the $50 fee. Holiday Real Estate, who gave me the packet, should have made it clear that the $50 fee has to be paid by check or money order at check-in time. Having to go to 77th street to get the packet, then go to the management office to check in is too much. Everything should be done at one site. Way too hectic at check-in time. The unit needs a major update. The unit needs to be cleaned better. Baseboards were dirty. The towel rack and the toilet paper holder in the stand alone bathroom are both loose and ready to fall off the wall. The location was great but I will look for a more updated unit next time.

It's important to point out that we do notify each guest in writing of the amenity fee due in cash and payable to the onsite building management office. We do understand that their policy of cash only is inconvenient. We represent individual property owners that rent their units. The onsite building management handles the administration of the entire complex. They would not handle check in for guests. We are happy to work with you in the future to find the perfect rental property for your stay.

Great location, nice amenities. A bit dated, but that’s the norm in many of the older condo units. Beds were comfortable, TVs worked fine, living area was spacious. Bathrooms could be upgraded and the washer/dryer closet is a tight fit. Regardless, would certainly rent again.

Weekend in OC

The property was cute and very sea-side themed. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was right on the beach; we literally had to walk maybe thirty feet from the lobby doors until our feet hit sand.

a few suggestions

The listing for the unit was pretty accurate, everything clean and as described. I did not catch that we needed to bring our own linens and paper items. It would be nice if that was more visible in the listing. Or better yet, include that in the cost of the rental, even if the rent needed to be increased by $50 for a week. For those of us traveling a long distance, it is a pain to bring linens or to make those arrangement separately. It such also be noted that to include toilet paper in the unit, even a basic supply and not refreshed would be helpful.

Just What We Needed

My sisters and I stayed for a long weekend. It was nice not to have to book the condo for an entire week. The living space was very comfortable and provided plenty of room for hanging out and night-time movie watching. Overall the place was very comfortable and clean but it could use some updating.

Who doesn't love a Beach Vacation!

This place was perfect for us for the money! 2 bedrooms 2 baths, nice sized living room, kitchen, & easy beach access, parking etc! Had a great time & nice accommodations to boot! Could use a few minor fix-ups/organizing but it didn't affect our stay. It was affordable & just what we were looking for! Next time We will know to bring simple household things-dishwasher soap, paper towels, hand soap, tissues, toilet paper, etc. & a lock for a beach locker! Great location, too. We were able to walk to local ice cream, sandwich, & general shops. Also enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony! Planning to come back next year!
