The Space:

The Sea Watch in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want. Enjoy the beach or the building's many amenities which include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, complimentary movie theater, fitness facility, saunas, huge game room, snack and soda shop, playground, basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball court, and a beautiful interior courtyard. There are six elevators and a guarded parking garage for your convenience. New for 2021 Season giving the unit a more modern look – LVT flooring in the Den, Kitchen and Living Room, replaced all wood baseboards with a profile baseboard, both Bedroom and both Bathroom solid core doors with raised panels, and bi-fold doors on closets. New furniture throughout to include, bedroom sets in both bedrooms, twin beds for the den, dining room set, entertainment cabinet, end table, and ottoman for the living room. Installed a larger smart TV in the living room and a smart TV in the den. And lastly, a new washer & dryer in the laundry room. THINGS TO KNOW Sea Watch charges $75 cash or credit card for one parking space from May 1 through October 31st. The fee only applies if you are bringing a vehicle. Additional spots may be available on a first-come-first-served basis for the same cost. Parking is limited to cars, pickups, and vans no more than seven feet high. Indoor pool hours may vary in the off-season This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience. The den is open without a partition or wall. DEN HAS A SMART TV WITH NO CABLE SERVICE. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Beautiful ocean view!

We took our granddaughter for a long weekend to OC and had a wonderful time. The place was exactly how described and close to everything.

Loved this condo!

Sea watch 1616 was perfect for our family. The amenities were awesome for our two teenagers. Condo was clean, spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be returning. It was a perfect beach getaway!.

Spring trip to the beach

The property was just as it was viewed and defined. Extra's included daily dolphin sightings as well as spectacular sunrises and sunsets.

Great place with beautiful views

We just came back from a wonderful vacation in Ocean City, MD. We stayed in Sea Watch 1616. The condo was recently redone with beautiful finishes. The beds were comfortable and clean. The view were stunning of the beach and bay. The amenities inthe building were fantastic. They have a billard, video game room, movie theater, 3 pools (one indoor), and a sub/sandwich place onsite. Loved this building, condo, and vacation spot.

Great location!

Great location with ocean view only a short walk from the condo lobby to the beach! Many shops and restaurants within walking distant, there is also a bus stop right outside the condo for further trips! Only thing that could use improvement are the beds! They were so uncomfortable and the sheets would not stay on the mattress at all!! Other than the beds overall was a great experience! We will be back!

Wonderful Off-Season Getaway

We stayed at the property for Thanksgiving weekend. We have family in the area and it was nice to be located close to them in North Ocean City. The condo had everything we needed, including linens, towels and bathmats. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. I enjoyed the early morning walks on the beach while the family slept. Surprisingly many of the amenities were available to us in the off-season. Kids loved the indoor pool, arcade and movie theater. The staff at Sea Watch was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying at this condo.

Acceptable Condo with Decent Views

The condo was well appointed and basically delivered what it was purported to be- the views of both the bayside and ocean weren't bad - though you don't have much privacy on the balcony the way the building is designed. the pools and other amenities were pretty nice. the check in on saturday is poorly run, and the way the policy is established means that EVERYONE descends on the check in at 4pm at the same time- check in was the worst part of the experience.

Wouldn't Stay Again

First of all, my boyfriend and I have high expectations on cleanliness. Be aware that there isn't a parking space fee included with the rental. We had 2 vehicles and both were charged $50 per car, with no pro-rate. Our stay was 9/28-10/2. The website states that parking is free after 9/30 (off season). Vacasa is the property management. You receive communications from them after booking through VRBO. You can save yourself the VRBO fees booking directly through Vacasa. When we arrived the lady that checked us in made us aware of some damage to one of the baseboards and wall that had not been repaired (no big deal). All of the patio furniture was piled up in the living room, which we had to move to the balcony. The exhaust fans in the bathroom had not been cleaned in a while, lots of dust, along with the toilet paper holders, and nightstand plugs. There was trash in the floor between the couch and end table. The ottoman had some sort of food stain on it that hadn't been cleaned. The potholders in the kitchen had food stuck on them, hadn't been washed. The kitchen has very random dishes, silverware, etc. There was no organization to the drawers and cabinets. We encountered some dirty dishes and silverware. The real kicker for us was the bedspreads. We had to wash them before using them. There were stains on them and I'm not sure that they get washed. Your instructions for departure are to put your dirty towels and sheets in a bag, but not comforters, strange. Location is great.
