YOUR ESCAPE FROM MASSIVE TOURISM
The Juliana House is located in the small village of Podbrdo, in the Baška grapa valley. The Baška grapa valley connects the Soča Valley with Bohinj.
The village of Podbrdo is surrounded by hills, rivers, and forests. The nearest peaks you can visit are: Črna Prst, Porezen, Rodica, Ratitovec, Soriška planina. It is also ideal for mountain bikers.
House Juliana can be a good option for travellers looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Julian Alps while still being within reach of major Slovenian attractions such as Bohinj, Bled, Soča valley, Ljubljana, Cerkno, Soriška planina.
Podbrdo itself is a small village, guests staying at House Juliana can enjoy a tranquil atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns or cities.
The accommodation is air-conditioned. Free Wi-Fi is available. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, toaster, cutlery, plates, coffee, tea), a living room with a large TV, a bathroom, 2 bedrooms, an entrance hall, and a balcony.
There is also a garden with a barbecue area (grill equipment, table, chairs, umbrella, outdoor blankets). In case there are crops growing in the vegetable garden, you are welcome to harvest them
Towels, sheets, slippers, hygiene kits, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, and hand soap are also included.
The apartment provides all information about nearby attractions and maps of the surrounding hiking trails.
In Podbrdo, there is a local mini-market, ATM, post office, bar, restaurant and railway station.
By train, you can reach Bohinjska Bistrica (Bohinj) in 10 minutes and Bled in 30 minutes.
There is also an option to take your car or van on a motorail train.

The apartment is situated at the end of the 8th stage of the Juliana Trail, precisely at the start of the 9th stage of the Juliana Trail.
The apartment is located on the first floor. Access to the apartment is via stairs. Free parking is available in front of the house.

Please, note that local tourist tax is charged in CASH on arrival.
Adults: €2.50 per night
Children (age: 7-18): €1.25 per night
PET POLICY
1. Pets Fee: €10.00 per pet / per night
2. Extra pet cleaning fee: €50.00 per stay
3. Types of Pets Allowed: We welcome dogs.
4. Size/Breed Restrictions: Dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome.
Pet fees are payable IN CASH together with the tourist tax, upon arrival.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier when in public areas and on the property. Do not leave animals unsupervised.
2. Pets are not allowed in sleeping rooms.
3. Pets must stay off furniture/beds.
4. Using the garden space or front yard as dog toilette is not allowed.
5. Clean up after dog.
SECURITY CAMERAS
There are 4 security cameras showing outdoor areas. They are installed to protect our property, safeguard guests' belongings, and help us monitor the torrent next to our house in case of really bad weather. There are no internal security cameras.
LAUNDRY ROOM
The washing machine is located in the basement. Upon request, we can open it for you. It's free of charge.
