While we’re sorry that the property did not meet your personal vacation preferences, we’d like to clarify a few points for future guests considering our home. Our listing accurately describes the size, layout, and amenities of the property. The garage apartment, photos, and amenity list clearly disclose that there is no washer/dryer, dishwasher, or bathtub, allowing guests to make an informed decision before booking. Regarding the stock tank plunge pool, it is serviced every Friday as part of its regular maintenance schedule. Because Florida is in hurricane season, frequent heavy rain often causes water to accumulate on the protective cover after it has been serviced. For this reason, we ask guests to simply reach out if they would like to use the pool after rainfall so we can coordinate another service visit to remove the accumulated water and ensure the pool is clean and ready for use. Our goal is to maintain the pool properly while providing guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. The air conditioning has a minimum setting of 70°F to help protect the HVAC system during Florida’s extreme summer temperatures, while still providing a comfortable indoor environment. We also take cleanliness very seriously. All bedding is professionally laundered and inspected between every stay. We were disappointed to read your comments regarding the comforter, particularly since no concerns were reported during your stay. Had we been notified, we would have been happy to address the issue immediately. Lastly, our nightly rates are based on market demand, location, amenities, and comparable accommodations in the area. We encourage guests to carefully review the listing details and amenities before booking to ensure the property aligns with their expectations. Our coastal studio is designed as a minimal, relaxing getaway for two, and we strive to provide a fully stocked kitchenette. It features a stove top with two small burners, along with a countertop that functions as an air fryer, toaster, and grill. For guests traveling without a vehicle, many opt to rent beach umbrellas at the local beaches to make transportation easier when using rideshares. We also provide a beach bag with two Turkish towels for every guest. These towels are lightweight, compact, and quick-drying, which reduces the risk of mildew and odors. We appreciate your feedback regarding beach essentials, and I'm pleased to inform you that we now offer beach umbrellas and chairs as part of our stay. As a complimentary welcome, we provide two water bottles, snacks, and a bottle of white wine. Guests are responsible for their own food and beverages during their stay. Our outdoor hammock is designed for one person to relax while the other enjoys the plunge pool. Although the pool can comfortably seat two, we will definitely consider adding an outdoor patio in the future.
