We had a wonderful time with our daughter and her family! The unit was lovely and laid out nicely for our family. Beautiful ocean view, beach club was nice, easy beach access. Jeni was very responsive when there were questions. Would definitely return!

Best we’ve stayed in

This condo was amazing! We loved the view from the balcony, to the updated kitchen and showers. The refrigerator made ice quickly and often, the washer and dryer worked great and were full sized. There was plenty of seating in the den area and we also appreciated the new thermostat which made controlling the temp much easier. We’ve stayed in several other condos throughout the years but it seemed there was always something- leaking shower, lack of privacy or something.

Easy beach vacation with extended family

Property is clean and elegantly decorated. Setup was perfect for our family of 4 nd in-laws. We enjoyed restaurants in town but appliances were updated and kitchen was equipped with everything we could have needed to enjoy cooking in. Easy beach access, love the miles of covered walking/bike paths.

Amazing Find!

Our family had a wonderful time at this condo. The view was incredible and the distance to the beach was great! The host was friendly and very responsive. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We would love to stay here again!!

Sailmaker Condo on Amelia Island

Love coming to Amelia Island!Three bedroom condo which was very clean except the carpet needed attention. Most of the condo had been updated except for the upstairs bathroom sinks/vanities. The master bed was very comfortable as was the furniture in the main living and dining areas. New appliances in the kitchen were nice. Communication with the host was good. This is a great area to stay on the island!

Great Stay!

My family and I had a great stay at Jeni's condo. The condo was clean, comfortable and bright. The location was really great. We enjoyed walking and biking on the trails that were right behind the complex and there were plenty of restaurants a short drive away. We also enjoyed the amenities (pool, tennis courts, workout room). We would definitely return!

Great View and Location!

Pros: Wonderful view of the ocean and sand dunes.Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were great for our family of adults. Private space for everyone as well as roomy common areas. Access to both pools, workout room, pickleball courts.Hiking and bike paths right behind the unit.Beach chairs and umbrellas greatly appreciated. Having a deck was awesome with great views.Cons: Staying for 8 nights, we hoped for comfortable beds. They were very firm/hard. I stayed in the master, however, I was unable to sleep on the king mattress without having a lot of pain. I slept on the couch those 8 nights which was quite comfortable thankfully. My other family members stated their mattresses were uncomfortable also. This would be the only reason we would not stay in this particular unit again. Never did get the fan figured out in the master, we even tried different batteries. Jeni did try to help with this matter. She was responsive to any questions I had.Amelia Island is a special place, our 2nd time visiting and staying at Sailmaker Condos.

Beautiful view, perfect Winter escape

We loved our stay, great location and wonderful accommodations! Townhouse is even better than the pictures! Loved the ocean views and sitting on the balcony, so relaxing. Pool and work-out room close to unit and nice. Jeni was wonderful to interact with and very responsive. We will stay here again!

So Disappointing

Unfortunately, our stay at this property had many issues. The carpets were so dirty that we didn’t want to walk around without shoes.  Many kitchen items were left dirty. The master shower wasn’t clean upon our arrival.  The plumbing struggled. The shower/tub left you standing in 8” of water. The bathroom sinks struggled to drain, and the toilets had to be double flushed to get anything down. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly.  The owner told us to keep the doors closed, but we hadn’t been in the unit all day. We had 2 very uncomfortable nights because the AC struggled to stay cool.  It was so warm we didn’t want to turn the oven on to make our dinner. It was over 24 hours before someone came to look at the AC unit & it ran the same. The lock on the slider fell off and therefore wouldn’t open. The owner tried to fix the door but was unsuccessful. As a result we lost a cooler that we had on the balcony. When we told her about the cooler, she told us to contact the neighbors and see if we could climb over from their balcony!  She filed a claim to fix the door against our VRBO insurance, which I’m so thankful we had. She probably would’ve changed us to repair her faulty door. The location of this property is great however the community & unit are run down and need lots of work. While these individual issues might have been manageable, they collectively made our stay unpleasant. I highly DO NOT recommend staying at this property!

Beautiful beach home!

This condo on the beach was perfect for us! You can hear and see the ocean from the balcony off the kitchen. Communication with host was excellent. 3 bedrooms & 3 baths made for a comfortable stay for my husband and I and are 3 adult kids. The unit is on the 2nd floor several steps to get to it. Loved the keypad on the door to enter - so easy. Host belongs to the Beach Club that has a great pool & work out room. They have changed the gate to the beach club pool so that is different than pictured & they are changing the key cards so what we had didn’t work but the gate wasn’t locked. We were approached by a member our first visit who told us we were at the wrong pool but we gave him our host’s name and he had the club verify she was a member. Then we were good and he gave us the code to the weight room. To get to the beach you have to walk over the wood bridges that cross the sand dunes and then up and down a sandy hill. That would be hard for anyone who has trouble walking. The beach is GORGEOUS!! We rented bikes to ride on the beach all the way to the Amelia Island State park. The ocean was clean and warm with gentle waves. Saw dolphins, turtles, bunnies and birds. On the 2nd day the Beach Club pool was closed -pump broke. We were so disappointed. On 2nd day when it was still closed, I called our host Jeni and she told us about the pool for the condo complex - that we didn’t even know existed. It was a beautiful little pool that people there let us into. We loved our stay!

A Beautiful Beachfront Unit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jeni's beautiful unit. With more updated and modern accommodations, this rental is tastefully decorated and provides a calm atmosphere--perfect for a vacation. The beachfront location is ideal, and the neighboring adjacent pool includes amenities such as towels and a snack bar. Communication with Jeni was easy, as she was always one text away. We wouldn't hesitate to rent from her again.

Updated and tidy beachfront unit

Fantastic location and access to the community pool as well as the beach. The rooms were updated and had a great view of the coast eith all the typical homw amenities. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get away from it all while still being easy distnace from great shops and restaurants.
