Our romantic, oceanview, vacation, rental house is located at Las Gaviotas, the 'Crown Jewel' of gated, guarded communities in Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico. Las Gaviotas has been in existence for 30 years and has become the standard by which all private communities are measured throughout the Pacific coastline. 'Point Break Villa' beach house includes beautiful breakwater ocean views, a shared year-round heated swimming pool and jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, a private sandy beach, tide pools, tennis courts, beach volleyball court, and a world-renowned surfing location, plus much more.

The two-story beach house is fully 2500 square feet with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, this home is ideal for a large family or for a group of friends. It will accommodate ten persons comfortably. Bed and bath linens are provided also. All you need to bring is beach towels.

The deck has a spectacular ocean view. Barbecue on the deck with the gas grill or relax in the lounge chairs under the umbrella. A table and chairs are also provided for meals on the deck.

The living area includes a fireplace, dining table, a leather couch, and a love seat.

Our kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, silverware, and dinnerware, plus all the gadgets you'll need whenever you 'cook in'. A grocery store is located across the street from the complex. If you prefer to dine out, there are many restaurants nearby.

Las Gaviotas is a guard-gated community of three hundred homes, built on a hillside overlooking the Pacific coastline. Part of the charm of this Mexican village is the cobblestone streets lined with palm trees and beautiful bougainvillea meandering throughout. This cozy community is located just 30 minutes south of the San Diego border.

The amenities in Las Gaviotas include an Olympic-size heated swimming pool and spa (overlooking the ocean), beach volleyball and tennis courts. Children of all ages will love the sandy beach and tide pools. A slate patio with incredible views of the surf and sunset surrounds the large heated pool. You can stroll along the surf on our slate walkway, which stretches the length of the community. This is a renowned surfing location with both a right and left reef break great for both beginners and seasoned wave riders.

If fishing is your sport you can fish right here or if you prefer a boat, you can drive 40 minutes south to Ensenada. Charters are available for both sport and deep-sea fishing. You can also head north 15 minutes to the fishing village next to Fox Studios where the local fishermen will take you out in their pongas early in the morning and back by noon. For you golfers, we have two golf courses close by. One is 15 minutes north called 'Real Del Mar' or 30 minutes south there is 'Baja Mar.'

The town of Rosarito is a few minutes north where you will find lots of shopping, antiques, art galleries, and excellent restaurants. You can also rent horses and ride on the beach or you can choose to take your four-wheel drive vehicle on the beach ar Rosarito.

Of course, you may just like to do nothing at all. Relax on the balcony with a 180-degree oceanview, drink margaritas, and read a book. Within minutes, the sound of the crashing waves, the ocean breeze, and tequila will have you napping away.
