We had the best girlā€™s weekend. This cabin was the perfect home base. Central to all our hikes and shopping! It was the perfect home away from home. We had the best conversations with the porch looking at the views and by the campfire!

Spring break in the mountains

Weā€™ve come to Mentone several times over the years in the fall but this was our first visit in the springtime. The Sunset Rocks was a great spot for our family. Beautiful views and only about a mile from Mentoneā€™s main commercial center. We enjoyed the quiet and using the hot tub after spending the day hiking.

This was a great location- minutes to Desoto State Park and hiking. The house was perfect for our family if 4. Even in the middle of pollen season- everything was so clean! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and around the fire pit!

Sunset Rocks did not disappoint

Sunset Rocks was family-friendly, clean, comfortable and conveniently located between downtown Mentone and the State Park. We used it for a quick weekend get-a-way, and though the weather was cold, windy and wet, we had a blast. Thanks, Holly!

Beautiful cabin with great views. Grandson loved playing on the boulders. Too cold outside to enjoy porch or fire pit. We did use the hot tub after hiking the parks nearby. Much needed good down time with family.

Serenity at Sunset Rocks

A cozy, comfortable cabin with a beautiful view and a hot tub to take it in. What else do you need? Our only regret is that we couldnā€™t stay an extra couple of days. Would recommend and would rent again:)

Amazing views, Beautiful cabin!

Our cabin was beautiful and well stocked with everything we could want from dishes to beach towels for the relaxing hot tub on a beautiful screened porch with a swinging bed! The brow views were breathtaking and enjoyed every day of our stay! The fire pit had firewood stacked and was in a great spot with Adirondack chairs and benches that we enjoyed every evening. Beds were comfy! We will definitely plan to return!

Great vacation at Sunset Rock

We recently spent six days and nights At Sunset Rocks in Mentone. The view is beautiful, the inside of the cabin is gorgeous and has modern decor. We had seven people in our party and had plenty of space. Holly with Delightful Retreats, went above and beyond to accommodate us with booking and address any questions that came up. I highly recommend Sunset Rocks and Holly with Delightful Retreats!!

Comfortable, Rustic Cabin w/ Million Dollar View

Peaceful, quiet location. Neighbors at a distance - summer foliage gives lots of privacy. Enjoyed the cool nights & mornings on a long Labor Day Weekend. Our daughter watched the Bama night game from the hot tub overlooking the valley & gorgeous sunset. Manager ā€œHollyā€ was easy to reach, quick to respond, & very helpful.

Girls hiking trip!

This was a fantastic place to land after long hikes on the beautiful trails in Northern Alabama. Bed were comfortable and hot tub on screened porch was just what we needed. The sunsets from the patio and firepit were breath-taking. You can't go wrong renting this gem. Holly was always available to answer any and all questions. Great customer service!

A cabin in the woods with stunning sunsets.

What an unexpected delight to find this cabin in the woods. It was a wonderful start to each day hearing the birds chirping, as we sat outside and enjoyed our coffee. We spent our days exploring the local parks with amazing hiking trails, interesting rock formations and beautiful waterfalls. In the evenings we enjoyed stunning sunsets while relaxing on the big screened in porch. The home is comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. I have to say, we found the area locals to be friendly and gracious in their efforts to help out the tourists. Overall, this beautiful cabin in the woods on the brow and s a rare find and we will definitely be back again.
