When you turn off Highway 117 onto County Road 106, continue about 1 mile until you see a sign on the left that says “Quiet Bear.” It is the smaller green home next to the Brushy Creek Lodge.

Best way to get here: We recommend having your own vehicle, as this is a rural area and having a car will make getting to and from the property much easier.

➤ Starter kitchen and bathroom essentials are provided, but guests will need to supply disposables and restock items for the duration of their stay.
➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted.
➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account).
➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage).
➤ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum.
➤ Please note that a $50 pet fee will be applied per pet per stay.
➤No more than TWO (2) animals, no larger than 60 pounds.
➤ We offer 4 kayaks and 2 canoes. Kayaks are $30 each, and canoes are $40 each. Please notify us at least five (5) days before your check-in date to allow adequate time for scheduling and preparation of the equipment.
1. AC/Heat/Thermostat Instructions:
One thermostat located in the living room.Thermostat should be left on 78 when on cool and 65 when on heat.
2. Water Heater:
In the locked crawlspace.
3. Water Shutoff:
Property water shut off is located along the driveway at the street.
4. Coffee Maker:
Coffee Maker is available for guest`s use.

5. Hot Tub Guidelines:
Shower before entering.
Keep glass, food, and oils away.
Do not exceed the recommended temperature.
Limit use to 15–20 minutes.
Children must be supervised.
Turn off jets and cover after use.
Please report any issues to the host.

6. Gas Grill Use Guidelines:

Grills are for use by registered guests and residents only.
Grills must remain in their designated location.
Keep children and pets away from grill areas.
Never leave grills unattended while in use.
Do not use grills in windy conditions or during fire bans.
No glass containers near the grills.

* Before You Grill:
Inspect grills for any visible damage or issues.
Gas Grill: Check gas connections before lighting.

*While Grilling:
Keep the grill lid closed to maintain proper temperature.
Use grilling utensils provided or bring your own.

*After You Grill:
Gas Grill: Ensure the gas is fully turned off.
Clean the grill surface and surrounding area after use.
Report any damage or safety concerns via platform where you have requested the booking.

*Other Things to Note:
There are kayaks available to rent.
