Well appointed Villa in a great location, close enough to town to walk down to bars and restaurants ( Taxi back for us) but far enough up the hill to be peaceful with probably one of the best views available in the whole town.Janie met us on arrival and couldn't of been more helpful.For those travelling light, the beach towels provided are really useful and ample quantities.

What an incredible place to stay! We spent 2 amazing weeks here as two families and the villa had everything we could possibly need. There was so much space that we never felt on top of each other, while the beautiful living areas were perfect for bringing everyone together.The location and views are outstanding. We loved BBQing on the balcony while watching the most incredible sunsets, and there are also some fantastic restaurants nearby.It’s around a 12–15 minute walk to the harbour and into Los Gigantes. The walk back takes a little longer as the villa is on an incline, but this was no problem for us and the views make it worthwhile! We didn’t hire a car and never felt we needed one – taxis were easy to get when required.A huge highlight was the whale-watching boat trip from the harbour – an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience! We also explored the mountains, swam in the ocean and visited Siam Park at night, which the kids AND adults loved! The most amazing 2 weeks in a truly special place. We were so sad to leave and will 100% be back. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Amazing location!

Stunning view, possibly the best in Los Gigantes! The hosts were great and very responsive. We had a lovely time and would definitely go back. Thank you!

Fantastic villa in Los Gigantes

Wonderful villa for family getaway with children. The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed lots of meals on the terrace. Well stocked kitchen. Short but steep walk into the town.

Million dollar views!!!!

Views are amazing of the ocean and the mountains, we saw many wild goats and fantastic see views. Plenty of room, and the perfect pool and outdoor area. Great location we were able to walk to restsurants and beach, marina. Very responsive hosts.

Fantastic time……..again!

Second time this year we stayed at this wonderful villa. It has truly wonderful views, and the villa has everything you could wish for. The whole booking process was very easy and Janie again welcomed us. Thanks to everyone involved and we look forward to returning again soon.

Host very welcoming. Lovely outside area with spectacular views. Inside space was disappointing; the lounge area was small and the furniture very dated and marked. Pictures and information on the website are not accurate. Regarding the latter, the villa is in fact an apartment and we did have the occasional noise from above and below us.

Lovely view

Nice villa with amazing views and all the amenities required. Only real complaint is the oven was a bit tired and took ages to cook anything and the water pressure in the showers wasn't great.

Beautiful villa in an outstanding location

We had a fantastic stay at this property and are planning on returning next year. The villa is spacious and comfortable and the views are outstanding! Nick was very helpful with any queries that we had, nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend a stay at this villa, you won't be disappointed.

The perfect holiday villa.

We returned again to this villa after a fantastic stay last year. We returned because the beauty of its position is simply unbeatable. You're warmly welcomed to the villa which is spotless and has everything needed. We stayed 9 days and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Very highly recommended.

We love this villa.

Another fabulous stay. As usual all coms were excellent and we were given a warm welcome when we arrived. We are a fit and healthy couple so the hills are not a problem and we walked everywhere. Everything is as described and the view is second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and were sorry to leave.

This villa is perfect for us. It is always spotless and has everything that we need. It had an extra coffee maker this year which was well used. Amenities are close by with lots of supermarkets and restaurants to choose from. Due to the fabulous view we spent a lot of time in the villa and thoroughly recommend it. The pool is very cold if you do not choose to have it heated but perfect for a dip after the steep walk up from the town. Initial coms are very good and we always receive a warm welcome. We hope to return.

Spacious villa, plenty of room for 4 friends having a room each. Comfortable and clean. Great kitchen facilities. Pool was lovely, part shaded and part in sun. Sun on the terraces most of the day with sunset opposite the villa. Views are spectacular. Despite other villas close by, it still felt private. The walk into Los Gigantes is only about 10 mins but is a steep hill. The peaceful and relaxing break we all needed.

Beautiful villa and views to die for

The owners were very welcoming and the villa was beautiful. Not recommended for anyone with mobility problems unless you have a car due to the steep hill. Would definitely recommend.

The villa is situated high up looking over the Harbour and the Sea so the views are truly expecptional. Taxi's too and from the villa from the villa are just 4 euros so if you don't fancy the walk back up to the villa then grab a cab from the taxi rank in the village.

Perfect family holiday

Fantastic spacious villa accommodating six adults and a toddler. Could not ask for anything better. Views from villa are amazing the outside terraces and pool were enjoyed by all the family. Keeps you fit getting to and from villa as quite a steep climb. Would highly recommend.

The 5-8 minute walk down to village is lovely with great views all the way but if you don't want to walk back up then we have a taxi rank in the villa and the cost to go back to the villa is just 3.5 euros.

First holiday abroad, not the last

The villa was lovely, the views were amazing. Our one thing we would change is not having an air conditioning unit in the lounge. We would stay there again, it is a beautiful town with friendly people.

Tenerife holiday

Overall a lovely place to stay for the sun and the peace and tranquility and especially the view from the outside areas. Inside is a little disappointing and not really as described…luxury beds and bedding!…on suite bathroom in double room tired…draws that don’t shut and a few other small things that make the difference between a good holiday and a really fabulous one.

Spotlessly clean villa in prime location

We were so pleased to arrive to a very warm welcome, following excellent communication with Nick throughout the pandemic. Spacious, quiet villa with a well stocked, clean kitchen. Perfect destination for our family of adults to relax and enjoy the pool. Well maintained throughout, and THOSE FABULOUS VIEWS!! The resort of Los Gigantes has a very good choice of places to eat to provide fuel to walk back up to the villa!

A fantastic villa!

The villa has a wonderful position with amazing sea views. We ate in most nights because there is no better setting to enjoy an evening meal. Facilities are excellent and the pool is big enough to have some fun in the sun! We actually enjoyed the return walks to the town as we were able to get in some fitness up the steep hill! Would love to return.

Thank you for a Super Review of Villa Maximus. I guess it's true we have lot's of great restaurants in Los Gigantes including "El Rincon de Juan Carlos" which has just received it's 1st Michelin Star! (book in advance though as they have only 20 covers and it's always booked up months in advance - it's also less expensive than many UK Michelin Starred Restaurants) but I believe there is no better place than Villa Maximus in Los Gigantes to enjoy a meal with simply the most amazing views over the Ocean, Marina and La Gomera. Lot's of people comment that the pictures your see on the we page don't do the Villa full justice I guess it's true but you will have to find this out for yourself. Villa Maximus really is the most prestigious Villa in Los Gigantes, aimed at those people who like to enjoy a peaceful holiday in a lovely setting with extraordinary ocean views and the finer things in life .
