Enjoy this beautifully landscaped private waterfront retreat, featuring a impeccably clean two-story home and a 60-foot private boat dock on a crystal-clear canal.

This home is in pristine condition. It has 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and enough sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests. This residence is perfect for couples or families looking to experience the best of Key Largo and Islamorada.

You and your companions will instantly fall in love with the home’s light and bright interior, boasting charming tropical-inspired decorations, modern amenities, and a wide-open floor plan. Our private dock can accommodate your boat, or you can rent one nearby at John Pennekamp Park.

Perfect for two families wanting to vacation together. Two separate living quarters make for comfortable stays. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs (queen bedroom and twin+full bunk bed) with private living, dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen; or enjoy your meals waterfront on the wrap-around balcony. Downstairs offers its own living, dining, and full-sized kitchen along with two additional bedrooms (queen bedroom and twin+full bunk bed+trundle) and one full bathroom.

All the amenities you need to be as relaxed as possible during your stay are here, including central air conditioning, multiple TVs with cable, WiFi, BBQ, washer, and dryer. The house also includes an above-ground pool, hot tub, 2 adult and 2 kid kayaks for renters to enjoy, and a sparkling clean canal where you and your guests can float or swim.

The property is completely gated (front and sides) for privacy.
The back side of the home faces east and therefore evades the blistering afternoon sun.

Shopping and fine dining are nearby. Our central location makes it easy to enjoy a scenic drive to Key West for a day or even visit Miami and South Beach.

Look forward to spending leisurely afternoons out on the spacious private patios with great seating areas. When you’re ready to get out on the water, you won’t have to go far. Just step outside to the home’s 60-foot private dock and sail away! The home’s deep water canal has easy access to the pristine waters of the Atlantic Ocean, just 400 yards away. Snorkel nearby coral reefs at John Pennekamp National Park, fish for Mahi Mahi and yellowtail snapper, or even relax at nearby sandbars. Our home is centrally located with the ability to boat or even kayak to waterfront restaurants such as the Key Largo Fisheries and the Pilot House—walking is an option too.

The accommodations were perfect for our stay. My mother-in-law had her own “house”, complete with its own kitchen while we had separate quarters upstairs. We also enjoyed the extras such as kayaks, the hot tub, laundry facilities (with supplies), and while the pool was a little too cold, it would be a nice perk once it’s a little warmer.David is an outstanding host, making himself available on short notice whenever needed.

Wonderful Spring Break !

Islamorada is usually our go to...but after our stay in this great house we have a new love for Key Largo! This house is perfectly located to all we had planned for the week .From a excellent fish market on the corner for grilling out to kayaking in the canal! The kids had a blast. the split level also made it very nice for my parents to have there space up stairs but gather all together at meal time. Owner was very reachable but did not encounter any problems the whole week. Home was VERY CLEAN and very up to date on appliances. We hope to be able to come back to this special place in the keys! Thank you for sharing your home!

Contract and Insurance required

If $5,000 worth of insurance is required which costs an extra $99, I believe that should be disclosed up front. Same for there being a required signed rental agreement - if that's the case, then don't run the payment until after that is signed. For the most part everything with the actual house was fine. But beware the stringent checkout duties (remind me why I paid a cleaning fee?)

Awesome house and excellent owner

The house was in excellent condition and was a wonderful place to stay. We had 8 adult men and found the sleeping accommodations to be perfect. It was well equipped and has a very nice layout downstairs for enjoying the Florida weather with a group of people. When we arrived it was sparkling clean and the owner is truly a five star renter. He contacted me several times to make sure everything was in order, answered all of my questions promptly, and was extremely reasonable when we mistakenly damaged an item. David was a breeze to deal with and truly what VRBO owners should strive to be like. It should be noted that the pool is much smaller than the photos make it look like (it's tiny: about twice the size of a hot tub) but the house is much bigger than the photos make it appear. There's also no indoor staircase: you must exit the house to go downstairs. These are just facts renters should be aware of and do not detract from the five stars this house deserves! In summary we would absolutely rent again and highly recommend working with the owner.

Excellent accomodations and outdoor space/parking

There were 8 of us. My wife, myself, one daughter and her husband, and our other daughter, her husband and their 2 children (4 and 2 mos). The unit is split 2 bedrooms up and two bedrooms 2 down with separate entrances and full kitchens up and down. It worked out great, we put the family with the kids in the downstairs and made that our central cooking/eating/family area and we spent most of our time down there next to the pool, canal, outdoor area and going in and out in the boat. There is a fence between the house/outdoor area and dock/canal which kept the 4 year old in check. The laundry is downstairs and there is space for storage of fishing/diving gear and they have a bait freezer and large deep freezer. Parking area is huge, and backing in trailers and boats is a piece of cake (this is seldom the case with the narrow streets). The canal is surprising clean and we did see people swimming in it! The kitchens were well stocked with all the pots pans, utensils you could ask for. The neighbors were super friendly and offered us suggestions on local places to go and fishing tips (which worked our well for our yellowtail fishing). Great Neighborhood. The owners provide very detailed check in and check out instructions and information on about everything you could encounter...you just have to look over the documents to get an answer. Also, David (owner) was very helpful via text messages when I had a question that I didn't see addressed in the documents. We highly recommend it! If we did not already have reservations for another place next year, we definitely would have planned on coming back next year...Great place! Many thanks to David and Jessica Rodriguez for sharing their Keys home with house.

Top stay in Key Largo!

The house was PERFECT for our three teenagers and four adults!! The top floor has a wraparound porch that was perfect to sit out at night and have cocktails while watching the kids swim and fish! Both kitchens are fully equipped and the house is decorated beautifully. Everyone had more than enough Space. There was plenty of space for the dockage of our 217 Cobia and the wash station was clean and in a convenient spot. The kayaks were fun for all of us and the canal is a 1 minute boat ride to open water. Neighbors were friendly and when we had a question for David he called back immediately with an answer. The house is located right down the road from Key Largo Fisheries which is where we got our bait and ice everyday. It is a very convenient location for anything you might want to do. They have the cutest guest book there that previous guests write reviews for places they have enjoyed which is helpful when trying to pick a restaurant!!! Overall we give a 10 star rating for this house that truly feels like a home. Thank you for everything David!!

Peaceful and charming

We really enjoyed our stay in Key Largo. We were traveling with 3 kids: 7, 5, and 2 and the upstairs apartment was perfectly quiet with dark shades over the windows so PERFECT for traveling with a small child that still takes a nap during the day. The house was very clean with charming furnishings and the owner had great communication with us during our stay. I would highly recommend it!

Paradise Found: The Best Vacation Ever

This waterfront home is the perfect place for a family reunion. It is directly on the water, and our 3 grandkids were in heaven. Our Florida son trailered his boat to Key Largo, put in at a nearby boat ramp, and tied up at the long dock. The kids all fished off the dock, as well as on outings from the boat. They caught a huge number of fish, many of which were large and in season. We ate very well! The kids also enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and lovely living spaces. My husband and I, plus one son, his wife, and 8-year old child stayed upstairs. We had our own kitchen, living room, dining area and balcony. My other son and his wife, plus their two kids took the downstairs. There is a very large kitchen on the lower level, a long table that fit all 9 of us, and a big living room and outdoor patio. We went up and down between the floors, and had plenty of space and privacy. The property is fenced, and the dock area has its own fence that creates security for small children. The house is located within walking distance of a fish market and casual outdoor restaurant on a marina, Walgreens, and other stores, while still being secluded on a side street with other homes on each side and across the canal. The neighborhood was quiet, even though all the homes seemed occupied and there was plenty of movement through the canals. The kids enjoyed the 2 kayaks, and we all appreciated the great gas grill. If you know the area, this home is about 20 minutes south of the Ocean Reef Club. This lovely rental is truly a fisherman's paradise. We will come again!

Very big and clean house.very comfortable and great location ,a lot of good restaurants around

The house and property was very clean ,even after the huracaine there was no garbage on the propertu.The location is great ,very cloese akcess to ocean and great restaurants .AC was working great ,kitchens had a lot of usefful thinks ,like pads ,pans ,blenders ,toester.very big friges what can save a money for going to restaurants every day .big recomendation for families with kids and friends

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in!!!

This house was super clean and well stocked. Everything was exactly as described. Direct ocean access for boats and plenty of dock space for our 25' boat. Neighbors are great and so is the owner. These are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We had a minor AC issue and he was right on it and took great care of us. We fished and snorkeled all week (catching all the fish and lobster you could ask for) thanks to great weather. Plenty of near by restaurants that you can drive to or take the boat. There is no room to complain at all with this rental at all. Wish we could just move in!! We are already planning a trip to the same house next year!!!

Great for two families

We had two families in the Keys for the week and this was great for us. We were able to mix and mingle as much as we wanted, but were able to cook separately (or for big meals at the same time) in the two separate kitchens. We really enjoyed everything about the property and as always enjoyed Key Largo!

perfect family get away

we all had a really good stay. The children had a great time fishing and exploring the canal. The kayaks were the perfect activity for the kids and adults. They loved the pool and the hot tub. The location was perfect and neighbors were very friendly. We would come again for sure.

Great Spring Break

This was our first time staying in Key Largo and it was a wonderful spring break. The home was great, we took our boat and had room to tie it up. The owners where so helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to go back!!!

Met Our Needs Perfectly

We stayed in this house the week between Christmas and New Year. Our group included 2 sets of grandparents and our son and his two children. The kids are 17 and 12. The house was perfect for us. The house is actually 2 separate fully functional units. Each unit has its own well stocked kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The upper unit has 2 bathrooms. The downstairs unit has one. Many of the houses in the Keys are on pillars and it appears as though the downstairs unit was a renovation of the garage and storage area under the pillars. The renovation is attractive, comfortable and well done. The only clues that it is an addition are a couple of exposed pipes in the bedrooms and stucco on the outer walls. Everything is painted the same off white so the pipes more or less disappear visually. The units are connected by an outside staircase. Mu husband and I stayed in the downstairs unit as my husband has bad knees and avoids stairs when possible. Both units are attractively decorated and extremely clean. The decor is current. Nothing dated. As I mentioned, the kitchens are well stocked with pots, skillets and other cooking utensils. This was great for us because we did quite a bit of cooking. The restaurants in Key Largo were very crowded since it was a holiday week. Neither grandfather is willing to wait more than 5 minutes in a restaurant so there were several trips to Publix and a lot of fish from a successful fishing trip. The kids were banned from using electronics during the day so they made good use of the puzzles, kayaks, and hot tub. My granddaughter in particular loved the kayaks. She used them daily and now wants one of her own. Nobody used the pool. The kids live here in Florida and have their own pool at home. The pool water was cold and the pool in December isn't the draw that it might be for kids from cold winter areas. The grandfathers liked the fact that each had his own flat screen television. Their politics are different so they were each able to watch their favorite cable news channel without the other guffawing in the background! All in all we had a great time in a clean, attractive house that is perfect for a largish group that requires some space. We would definitely rent this house again. Highly recommended.

Everything was great, just as described!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was wonderful, and the house was spotless. Our teenagers had plenty of room to spread out and have space. We loved that we could rent our own boat and park it on the canal. Overall, it was a fantastic week.

Great house on canal

Had a great stay. Weather at end of March is perfect. Snorkel right there in the canal or we brought a zodiac with us and there is great snorkeling off Rodriquez Key which is 2 miles south or off of Mosquito Bank which is 2.5 miles north. House is very clean and well equipped for a group.

Wonderful Vacation - Lots of space for the family!

This is a very unique property. We were traveling to fish in the Jimmy Johnson Fishing Tournament. We have a 5 man team so we needed some space. This home provides two levels with separate living spaces. Very clean and well maintained. We had a small problem with the AC and the owner was on site within a few hours to remedy the situation. Perfect for families with young adult children. We used the upstairs as a private sanctuary for my husband and I!
